Així de clar ha estat l'inspector Antoni Fernandez Santervas, cap de l'àrea bàsica policial del Garraf. I els aldarulls viscuts tenen també una definició específica: la violència recreativa, que no és altra que aquella que s'exerceix pel mer gaudi de qui la provoca, amb l'objectiu de vantar-se'n públicament, sobretot a través de la exposició per xarxes socials a cara descoberta. L'inspector ha defensat la dimensió del dispositiu policial, tenint en compte les molt bones dades estadístiques de delinqüència a Sitges, i també el criteri d'actuació dels cossos de seguretat pel que fa a la priorització d'objectius. Es tractava d'aturar els aldarulls i de garantir que ningú no prengués mal. A partir d'aquí els mossos han obert una investigació pel delicte de desordre públic, que pot comportar penes de 6 mesos a 3 anys de presó per als responsables dels mateixos que siguin identificats. Aquest procediment està en la seva fase inicial de recollida de testimonis i documentació gràfica que permetin, si s'escau, obrir un procediment judicial. L'inspector Fernández ha assenyalat que la majoria de les prop de 300 persones que protagonitzaren d'alguna manera o altra els aldarulls son joves -no necessàriament menors- i que alguns dels testimonis que han aportat documentació a mossos han reconegut a sitgetans, però hores d'ara tampoc es pot assegurar de manera oficial amb la investigació oberta. L'inspector ha recomenat que si algú ha estat implicat en els aldarulls, que no tingui por i declari a la comissaria dels mossos, perquè pot atenuar les conseqüències del seu delicte, ha assegurat que s'dentificarà al màxim de persones possible, que els delictes no quedaran impunes i que els fets del diumenge probablement signifiquin un punt d'inflexió de cara al plantejament de futurs dispositius de seguretat. JEN NA ⁠HTTPS://HEROHERO.CO/CESTMIR⁠⁠⁠⁠ A ⁠HTTPS://FORENDORS.CZ/CESTMIR „Důležitá součást naší práce je nebrat se vážně a neustále přemýšlet, kde to máme špatně,“ říká biochemik Jan Konvalinka o vědě, která podle něj nestojí jen na odpovědích, ale hlavně na pochybnostech. Mluví o boji s virem HIV, Antonínu Holém i o tom, proč ho po pár letech baví měnit téma a dělat něco úplně jiného. Velkou část rozhovoru ale věnuje i Česku. „V našem zájmu je co nejvyšší vzdělanost,“ říká a varuje, že regiony ztrácejí talenty a malá země si nemůže dovolit nechat talentované děti propadnout systémem. Z Litvínova si nese citlivost k Sudetům a odsunu Němců, o němž říká, že to není problém Němců, ale „náš vnitřní problém“. „Sami jsme si hrozně ublížili,“ říká a varuje, že se dnes „průmyslově rozdmýchává nenávist“, protože vystrašit lidi a ukázat jim nepřítele je nejjednodušší způsob, jak je ovládnout. Slušná země je podle něj taková, kde se dodržují nepsaná pravidla, kde platí zákon, kde je justice nezávislá a kde můžete veřejně říkat svoje názory. A i když si nemyslí, že už je z Česka „orbánovská země“, nebezpečí podle něj hrozí. „Možná ještě i naši generaci čeká pár důležitých morálních rozhodnutí,“ říká. Jako člověk spojený s covidovou debatou trvá na tom, že vakcíny zachránily miliony životů a u nás pravděpodobně několik desítek tisíc. Očkování označuje za nejlevnější, nejjednodušší a vlastně přírodní způsob, jak podpořit vlastní imunitu, zatímco homeopatii považuje za placebo a šarlatánství. „V ordinaci lékaře, kterému věřím, bych nechtěl vidět homeopatika,“ říká. Zároveň zůstává technooptimistou. Umělá inteligence je podle něj ve vědě famózní nástroj, který už pomáhá navrhovat proteiny a nové léky. „To je revoluce v medicíně,“ hodnotí. Jenže stejně jako u internetu přiznává, že tehdy nedohlédl rizika a dnes mezi mladšími kolegy pozoruje něco, co by skoro nazval „epidemií osamělosti“. Konvalinka mluví také o editování genů, embryích a hranici, za kterou už věda nesmí jen proto, že něco umí. „Život je něco víc než jen soubor buněk,“ říká a dodává, že víra pro něj není učebnice geologie ani astronomie, ale text o vztahu člověka a smyslu života. V závěru vysvětluje i to, proč jako ředitel instituce váží slova, proč po 7. říjnu vyvěsili izraelskou vlajku a proč mu bojkot izraelských akademických institucí připadá absurdní. Novinářka Zuzana Černá v rozhovoru popisuje, jak po příspěvku Jindřicha Rajchla začala čelit vlně nenávisti a výhrůžek smrtí. Přesto odmítá zmizet z veřejného prostoru. „Chci dál konfrontovat politiky. Společnost si zaslouží, aby se otázky dostávaly k těm, kteří ovlivňují, jak tu budeme žít,“ říká Příspěvek Jindřicha Rajchla podle Černé během krátké doby nasbíral stovky komentářů. Vedle urážek vzhledu, inteligence nebo osobního života se objevily i explicitní výzvy k násilí: „Po několika dnech tam přibyly příspěvky jako ‚Proč ta m*dka ještě nevisí‘ nebo ‚Zabte někdo tu svini,‘“ říká novinářka. Situaci řeší s policií. Podle ní ale nejde jen o jednotlivé komentáře na sociálních sítích, ještě závažnější je mechanismus, kdy politici svými výstupy vědomě mobilizují publikum proti konkrétním lidem. „Člověk má dvě možnosti: buď si řekne, že tolik kýblů hnusu o sobě nechce číst, vyklidí prostor a půjde dělat něco jiného, co nebude tolik na očích, anebo si řekne, že se z toho nepo*ere,“ říká novinářka. Sama si vybrala druhou možnost a v práci chce pokračovat dál. Za zásadní problém považuje to, že podobné kampaně probouzejí v lidech agresi a nenávist, kterou politici následně využívají. „Rajchl a Okamura často posílají armády trollích účtů i reálných lidí na ty, kdo jim šlápli na kuří oko. Vzbuzují v lidech to nejhorší v nás: zlo a nenávist. A to je na tom všem nejnebezpečnější,“ dodává. Kteří polici před ní před Sněmovnou utíkají? Welcome to episode 124 of The Journey Is the Reward!Although the Government might have been shut down, that didn't stop Brian from hitting the throttle, braving the airports, and executing a cross-country flight plan to see Mama Coleman. He performed a masterful landing right on her doorstep!But before we get into Brian's unscheduled government-shutdown-defying mission, we heard from some of our listeners—truly, the best part of the show!·       Listener Martha wrote in, asking why I give out gifts to the flight crews. Someone's never heard of the importance of crew resource management!·       We also heard from Listener Cassandra, all the way from Botswana, who was telling Brian about the leopard in her backyard. Now that's something you don't hear every day... unless you are living in the wild of Southern Africa! ·       No Listener Lu question this week. Hopefully, she'll have an important air traffic control query for the next episode.For the main event, buckle up! Micah asks Brian all about his flights to New Jersey during the great shutdown. Although there were a few aircraft changes, they were really Brian's decision—he likes to keep the ground crew guessing! Chef Kathy provided excellent ground transportation services to safely transport Brian to yet another surprise visit with mom. Micah called to wish everyone well, and finished up the episode with a detailed analysis of Brian's journey home. Spoiler alert: he didn't try to file a flight plan on a different continent.And as always, our ears are blessed by the utterly soul-stirring, goosebump-inducing sounds of the Madalitso Youth Choir!
