There is no greater inspiration for copying than successful innovation. In this early adoption NFT world, it shouldn't be a surprise we are seeing lots of derivatives, and/or expansion projects but for me the surprise has been how most people look at these projects and/or their value. Are you excited about the House of Dragon spinoff of Game of Thrones? Did you watch the entire Bourne Trilogy or Batman Series? When it comes to the NFT community things seem to be divided around the value and importance of expansion or derivative projects while we also enter bigger discussions around the value and authenticity of trait groups and NFT fractionalization. Listen to Fanzo share his take on these topics and how he would build his own expansion project and some of the things we must factor in as we look at the future of this space including both innovation and education. -------- Featured NFT from the #mint365 collection: Expansion Punks: https://twitter.com/iSocialFanz/status/1470234047368646656?s=20&t=7u76PA0IFjW_EZjDC1kLFA Listen to our interview with Jeremy the founder of Xpunks back on episode 48: https://www.nft365podcast.com/reimagining-the-derivative-nft-experience-with-jeremy-posvar-of-expansion-punks/ ------------ Discover the latest Web3 strategies to improve your business at the upcoming Crypto Business Conference in San Diego, October 9th-11th 2022 https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/nft365 ______________________________________________________________ Learn more about the NFT365 Podcast

►Start with Your Guide to Batman Forever https://silverscreenguide.podbean.com/e/your-guide-to-batman-forever-1995/ Nearly 3 years after Tim Burton scared children and adults alike with his even darker version of Batman, The Lost Boys director Joel Schumacher came on board to take the creative reigns. Casting a new Batman, colorful villains, and finally including Robin, this third installment had a lot to live up to. Achieving success with audiences and breaking box office records, it seemed this new toyetic take was a hit. But 27 years later, audiences and critics have soured on the film. ►Start with Your Guide to Batman Returns https://silverscreenguide.podbean.com/e/your-guide-to-batman-returns-1992/ Nearly 3 years after Tim Burton wowed audiences with his vision of Batman and the Joker, he returned Batman to the big screen. Retaining Michael Keaton as Batman while adding two new now iconic roles of Catwoman and Penguin, critics loved the film while audiences weren't quite sure. Causing a stir amongst families, children were frightened by the film, which caused Warner Bros. to not pursue a sequel with Tim Burton. ►Start with Your Guide to Batman https://silverscreenguide.podbean.com/e/your-guide-to-batman-1989/ 2 years after the Superman franchise blew up like Krypton, Tim Burton's Batman came out of the shadows as the next big franchise. With mainstream audiences only having a familiarity with the character through the campy Adam West TV show, Burton subverted expectations with a dark, captivating vision, truly showcasing the potential for comic book stories on the big screen. Earning high marks not only at the box-office but with critics and audiences alike, it was well-received at the time.

We continue our series examining the influences of Christopher Nolan's 2008 epic The Dark Knight. Consider this the atrium to the Dark Knight episode. It is warmer in here than outside, you can smell the kitchen from here and you would be silly to try to get around it without coming in! We cover Julius Caesar on its own merits. Then Dan fills in George and Travis on the historical context of the story within the film. Then the boys watch a scene from HBO's series Rome to see how they handle the same material. (And you can play along at home on HBO Max). Oh and at one point George straight up predicts exactly where Dan is going in an insanely obscure way. This is try mild-melding stuff and it was unrehearsed. Seriously. Next-level music stuff. Worth the price of admission alone! How will George handle his first battle with Iambic Pentameter since 2006? Will Travis appreciate the nuanced acting of some of the greatest to do it in a toga? What perfect, succinct, new rule did Dan create after watching HBO's series Rome? Back in 2005, writer/director Chris Nolan brought us back to Gotham City and more importantly….to the Batman. He took the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman in a completely different direction from previous films (the last one being Batman & Robin in '97) by starting fresh at the beginning. And what results is one of the most interesting and influential origin stories ever told. Oscar-winner Christian Bale stars as the titular hero alongside Oscar-winner Michael Caine, Oscar-nominee Liam Neeson, Oscar-winner Gary Oldman, Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman, Oscar-nominee Tom Wilkinson, Cillian Murphy, Rutger Hauer, and…..Katie Holmes...So yes it's a STACKED cast with some unique choices as we delve into Batman's famous rogues' gallery as he takes on Scarecrow AND Ras Al Gul. This episode completes our "Living for the Batman" Series before the release of the newest Batman movie (The Batman) comes out in a few weeks. How do you follow up a twisted, dark, and somewhat perverted Batman sequel (previous episode Batman Returns) which upset a lot of parents, angered a fast-food franchise, and freaked out a major studio? If you're Warner Bros., you take the character of Batman/Bruce Wayne….and cast 90's star Val Kilmer and hire Joel Schumacher to direct and cast the biggest stars at the time including Jim Carrey as The Riddler, Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face, Nicole Kidman as Dr. Chase Meridian, and Chris O'Donnell as Robin……plus you add Day-Glo production design, buffoonery from some key cast members, and….Bat-nipples? As part of our ongoing "Living for the Batman" series, let's examine how this movie holds up…..Host: Geoff GershonProducer: Marlene Gershonhttps://livingforthecinema.com/#livingforthecinema #moviereviews #batmanforever #valkilmer #jimcarrey #tommyleejones #nicolekidman #chrisodonnell #batmanseries #livingforthebatman #U2 #1995
So just under thirty years ago, Tim Burton directed a sequel to his HUGELY successful Batman movie of 1989….and he made it even weirder….AND it's a Christmas movie no less. Just in time for the holidays, it's time to revisit this bizarrely entertaining Bat-Sequel starring Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, Michelle Pfeiffer as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Danny Devito as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, and Christopher Walken as Max Shrek. And don't forget that mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it….Host: Geoff Gershon Producer: Marlene Gershonhttps://livingforthecinema.com/#livingforthecinema #moviereviews #batmanreturns #michaelkeaton #michellepfeiffer #dannydevito #christopherwalken #timburton #mistletoe

After 5+ years of endless online discourse regarding this film's quality and what it means, it's time to revisit this superhero epic directed by Zack Snyder. In case the title didn't already convey this, this film presents us with a burgeoning conflict between Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) as they both attempt to protect the citizens of their respective home cities, Gotham City and Metropolis. But throwing a monkey wrench into both of their plans are the machinations of the evil Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg and along the way, we also spend time with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and a mysterious artifacts curator played by Gal Gadot….When we're not seeing disturbing images both on the ground and flashing (pun intended) through the mind of Affleck's Bruce Wayne. Let's revisit what works and what doesn't work about the film which launched a thousand “Martha” memes!SHOUT OUT: WITH NOTHING TO SAY PODCASTHost: Geoff GershonProducer: Marlene Gershonhttps://livingforthecinema.com/#livingforthecinema #moviereviews #batman #batmanvssuperman #benaffleck #henrycavill #jesseeisenberg #galgadot #zacksnyder #amyadams
Was sind unsere Lieblingsbösewichte?
On this episode of The Jay Sutton Show we discuss Meek Mill & Wack 100s beef whether or not they should fight, Shyne being back states side. Listen as Mike and Tom pitch a sequel to the 1990's Batman series. You'll hear how much Mike and Tom liked the first two movies in this series as they both include Selina Kyle in their pitches, how thrilled Mike was with his pitch until he remembered he stole plot points from Batman Begins, and how Tom includes a Batman retirement in his pitch.
Listen as Mike and Tom rank and declare for the original Batman series. You'll hear how easily Mike decides on his ranking and declarations, the degree to which Tom struggles, and how this leads to a discussion about terrible movies that may be successful on their own terms.
