Salmaan Chettih, a postdoctoral researcher in neuroscience at Columbia University, investigated how chickadees encode their internal treasure maps. In his study in the journal Cell, he found the chickadee brains produce a unique pattern of activity — akin to a neural “barcode” — that marks the X on its mental treasure map. Italians don't just speak more with their hands, they speak differentlyResearchers comparing Swedish speakers with Italian speakers have found that the gestures they commonly use to accompany spoken language are quite different in kind. Lund University scientists Maria Graziano and Marianne Gullberg recorded the hand gestures study participants used when describing a children's cartoon to their friends. According to the results published in a Frontiers in Communication journal, Swedish speakers used gestures that concretely represented the subjects of their speech, while Italian speakers used abstract gestures more related to emphasis. What came first, the drumstick or the omelette?New archaeological work along the famous Silk Road trade route between Asia and Europe has added to the picture of how the chicken was brought from its southeast Asian homeland to the rest of Eurasia. An international team of researchers, including archaeobotanist Robert Spengler, analyzed tiny eggshell fragments from the soil of multiple sites in Central Asia. Their findings, published in Nature Communications, suggest that the motivation for domesticating the fowl was not the chicken, but their eggs. LED lighting is bright, efficient, and perhaps a problemThe global transition to LED lighting seems to be having some concerning impacts on the natural world and human health. These energy efficient artificial lights produce different spectra than older incandescent technology, or the natural light of the Sun that life on Earth evolved with over billions of years. LED lighting is brighter, bluer, and more widely used than incandescent lighting. Glen Jeffery, a professor of neuroscience from University College London, said that as a result, we may be paying the price with our health due to being oversaturated with blue light and starved of red and infrared light. In a new study in the Journal of Biophotonics, he found that exposing people to red and infrared light lowered their blood glucose levels by “charging up” our cells' energy production.Artificial light at night is also having “a profound impact” on our environment in how it affects plants and wildlife and the ecosystems they're in, according to Kevin Gaston, a professor of biodiversity and conservation at the University of Exeter. He said for nocturnal animals, the challenge they face from light pollution is the equivalent to humans losing daylight during the daytime. His review was published in the Annual Review of Environment and Resources.

Cancer biopsies are scary. The patient gets tissue removed from his or her body, the sample gets sent off to the lab and then there's the agonizing wait for the results.  Dr. Stephen Boppart of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, both a physician and an engineer, is working on instant biopsies that will produce results in minutes. Using laser light and artificial intelligence, Dr. Boppart and his colleagues have been able to identify cancers early and accurately. Moreover, this technique promises to identify conditions in the body that might lead to future cancers by looking at tiny vesicles, liquid-filled sacs that act as messengers.  His "Town Talk" sponsored by Telluride Science, was recorded at the Telluride Mountain Village Conference Center in Colorado.  The program was moderated by veteran broadcast journalists Judy Muller and George Lewis.

Micro-nutrients as a Biomarker of Wellness This Living to 100 Club conversation explores the scientific breakthrough involving a new biomarker. This biomarker indicates the presence or deficiency of micro-nutrients in our body. Our guest is Dr. Hans Parge, whose background is in biomedical research. Though it has always been measurable in blood serum, we discuss how the presence of carotenoids in our system can now more easily be measured. This carotenoid level equates to a measure of vegetable consumption. In turn, this gives us a picture of our “nutritional competence.” Hans discusses the significance of this nutritional competence, and describes the science of BioPhotonics. Using a BioPhotonic scanner, the level of micro-nutrients in the surface of your palm are detectable. This yields a Skin Carotenoid Score. In short, the score reflects a measure of the skin's carotenoid content. This is directly associated with the body's antioxidant defense system. Because the test is non-invasive, no blood needs to be drawn, and a licensed health provider is not needed to administer it. Tune in for a fascinating development in advancing wellness. Mini Bio Dr. Hans' background is in biomedical research and pharmaceutical drug discovery. His basic training is as an X-ray crystallographer. This discussion about Light Body Awakening is (in part) based on a discourse from Archangel Ariel channeled through Tashira Tachi-ren. These channelings have been published within the book “What Is Lightbody.” The Crystalline Lightbody is the required evolutionary physical form that is utilized by a fifth dimensional Spirit and Soul. As you proceed through this, keep in mind that everything within the Universe is composed of light. A plant exists because of its capability to take in sunlight and store that energy within a carbon bond. Humans consume plants in the form of Biophotons or quantum bundles of light energy. Every metabolic and catabolic reaction in plants, animals, and humans is indirectly controlled by these biophotons.   The Crystalline Lightbody is the required evolutionary physical form that is utilized by a fifth dimensional Spirit and Soul. As you consider Light Body Awakening and Activation, you will be gaining an understanding of the science of Light or “Biophotonics.” Then you will begin to understand the importance of a Light Body designed to absorb photons of light as its main source of physical energy. In order for Souls to take on a physical body and incarnate upon a low frequency third dimension planet, they had to agree to forget their past, lower their frequency and densify. Since that decision, after a chronological sequence of several thousand years, a NOW time has been reached for planet Earth. That NOW time was when maximum separation and densification have became very compacted.   That densification cycle is ending for planet Earth and a new expansion cycle has begun As planet Earth enters this expansion cycle, those density and separation patterns are reversing. Within this changing cycle of the Universe, the solar system and planet Earth have begin to reverse the previous densification process by increasing the frequency of everything. As the frequency of everything increases, everything becomes less dense. In order for the creations upon planet Earth to survive, they must be synchronized with these new high frequency energies.   As planet Earth evolves from the third to fourth and fifth densities, in order for humans to survive they must shift to these higher frequencies or leave. Similar evolutionary separation process and recovery phases have been repeated many times on many planets throughout the Universe. As the planet and those inhabitants that are interested raise their frequency to ascension status, each inhabitant becomes less dense and lighter in weight. Alternate Universe Reality Activation  get full access to new meditations, new lectures, recordings from the reality con and the 90 day AURA meditation schedulehttps://realityrevolutionlive.com/aura45338118 BUY A COPY OF MY BOOKhttps://www.amazon.com/Reality-Revolution-Mind-Blowing-Movement-Hack/dp/154450618X/ Listen my book on audible https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Reality-Revolution-Audiobook/B087LV1R5V Music By Mettaversesolacesolitudegolden lotusinto the omniversejourney into the multiversenocturne ➤ Listen on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2KjGlLI➤ Follow them on Instagram: http://bit.ly/2JW8BU2➤ Join them on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2G1j7G6➤ Subscribe to their channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyvjffON2NoUvX5q_TgvVkw  All My Neville Goddard Videos In One Playlist - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKv1KCSKwOo8kBZsJpp3xvkRwhbXuhg0M For all episodes of the Reality Revolution – https://www.therealityrevolution.com Like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/The-Reality-Revolution-Podcast-Hosted-By-Brian-Scott-102555575116999 Join our facebook group The Reality Revolution https://www.facebook.com/groups/523814491927119  Subscribe to my Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOgXHr5S3oF0qetPfqxJfSw #lightbody #crystallightbody #awakening

In Chinese Medicine, the term shen is used to refer to what is most often translated as spirit. In Chinese culture, this term, shen, can refer to deities or spiritual beings but also to the light of the stars. In it's universalized form, it may be more akin to what we might think of as the Holy Spirit in the West. Setting aside the extent to which that may or may not be true in the context of Chinese culture and metaphysics, I'd like for you to keep that comparison in mind. Dr. Edward Neal and other acupuncturist scholars sometimes refer to the shen as a “template of light”, which informs and organizes all things into harmonious and coherent patterns of expression. Again and again, in this field of study, we are faced with various synonyms which seem to point at the same, ultimate reality, which supervenes upon what we think of as this material world of form and is, in fact, the source from which it springs. In people, we call it pain. Most pain research is done with rodents, but nociception is pretty well conserved beyond mammals. That includes invertebrates, such as the fruit fly. Some work has been done in larval drosophila, but larvae exist in a transient state; any quote unquote pain is therefore transient too. To study longer lasting changes in nociception, University of Sydney researcher Greg Neely recent;y described his lab's efforts to develop an adult fly model. They took advantage of the fly's natural aversion to surface temperatures above 42 degrees Celsius, and show that after peripheral injury-in this case, a leg amputation-the flys thermal sensitivity changes in a chronic manner. Looking deeper, they saw evidence of a complex mechanism known as central disinhibition at work, along with a role for a conserved gene called Twist in mediating that chain of events. You can read more about this potential fly replacement for nociception studies in the journal Scientific Advances. [NC3Rs] Before starting an experiment, a researcher should always have its end in mind. What is the hypothesis? The experimental objectives? And crucially for animal experiments, what signs indicate the experiment should be stopped to prevent unnecessary suffering? It's a challenging task though, identifying appropriate humane endpoints, as these should be specific to the animal and model but aren't always described in detail in the literature. Computers, however, are notoriously good at identifying patterns so researchers at the University of Berlin have investigated whether machine learning could be used to define humane endpoints in mouse models of stroke and sepsis. Data was collated from previous studies, focussing on commonly applied humane endpoints such as loss of body weight, changes in body temperature and the use of a sickness severity score. Using these measures, the machine learning based approach was able to predict whether an animal had a high risk of death, with up to 93% accuracy in the mouse model for stroke and 96% accuracy for sepsis. Notably, machine learning could make these predictions one to two days before a humane endpoint would be reached. And the faster we can identify an animal suffering or in pain, the faster we can intervene. [NA3RsC] A paper in Journal of BioPhotonics sheds some light on the value of fibered confocal fluorescence microscopy. Fibered confocal fluorescence microscopy is a confocal microscope equipped with a fiber-optic bundle which provides light to organs and tissues, enabling collection of real-time images of biologic processes in live animals. With conventional confocal microscopes, cell imaging is limited due to the difficulty with accessing deep tissues and organs. However, advancements in fiber-optic imaging technologies enables improved visualization of tissues and organs, including blood vessels, vasculature and nerves, and mucosal surfaces of the colon. In addition to the many scientific advantages, fibered confocal fluorescence microscopy also enables 3Rs impact. Each animal can be used as its own control with more information obtained from fewer animals, reducing the total number of animals required and inter-animal variability while increasing statistical validity. Also, in vivo imaging is non-invasive providing a valuable refinement to enabling identification of tissues under pathological conditions and responses to drug treatments. Finally, imaging of human organs and tissues could ultimately replace the use of animals, leading to improved clinical relevance making this a valuable translational tool expected to have increased impact in drug research and development. Biophotonics or light therapy is one of the most promising new technologies in health and wellness. It’s not surprising when you think about it. Light is the source of all life. Just like plants we need the right kinds of light for optimal health and well-being.You can have the best diet and latest supplements, the best water, the best exercise program, the best medical care, the best attitude and there is still something missing. Its light! The right frequencies of light are an essential nutrient. Our brains, our eyes, our bodies need it….and most of us are deficient. We live indoors, unnaturally, under fluorescent and other lights that are not good for us.Interestingly enough, this is what Einstein won the Nobel Prize for in 1921. His explanation of the photo-electric effect, or how subatomic particles of light, called photons interact with all matter, including living organisms. In Germany, Fritz Popp, a modern day biophysicist, explains that each second, some 100,000 chemical reactions occur in a given cell with light acting as the communicator that makes the reactions happen at the right moment and in the right place. The ancients worshipped the sun, realizing its life giving and sustaining power. Today, science is rediscovering and proving what ancient cultures had already observed, light stimulates cellular and molecular activity. Biophotonics or light therapy is being used with newborns to reverse bilirubin, by the military to heal wounds and traumatic brain injury, by NASA to help astronauts sleep and stay healthy in zero gravity, by cancer hospitals to reverse the detrimental effects of chemo and radiation, by spas to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, erasing fine lines and wrinkles. Light therapy is used to regrow hair, alleviate acne and rosacea, relieve pain, reduce inflammation and regenerate tissue with professional athletes. At Light Health Research, we are dedicated to bringing you the most researched, safest and beneficial frequencies of light. We should all be able to take advantage of this wonderful technology. Imagine that you can recharge our body like a battery and reboot our brain whenever you want. The DreamSpa personal light system lets you do just that. It’s a comprehensive solution to the effects of stress and the wear and tear of aging.
