Filmbranchens aktører og interessenter mødes i dag med kulturministeren for at give input til en ny filmaftale, der gælder fra 2024 og frem. Vi får en status efter mødet fra både kulturminister Jakob Engel-Schmidt (M) og en branchemand. Tilbage i 2013 fik danske QUADRON med Coco O. i front et kæmpehit med nummeret 'Hey Love'. Stjerner som Prince, Jaz-Z og Kendrick Lamar reagerede og ville lege med QUADRON og Coco O., men som med alle eventyr, var der også modstand, og Coco O. forsvandt ud af rampelyset. I løbet af sommeren har det været festivalsæson rundt omkring i det danske land. Og mens alt det stod på fangede vi historikeren Gry Jexen på Roskilde Festival. I dette års sidste udsendelse tager vi et tilbagekig på musikåret 2021. Det har været et virkelig godt et af slagsen, og Noget Ved Musikken hylder alt den musik som har gjort vores hverdag lysere i en ellers ret mørk tid. Vi har besøg af Josephine Carl fra CHILD + The Banned, og det bliver til en god og informativ snak om et af årets bedste numre og med garanti den smukkeste musikvideo, debutsinglen I Dreamt. Josephine kan også løfte lidt af sløret for hvad 2022 vil bringe for hende og bandet. Så hejser vi det musikalske flag for de danske kvinder i musikbranchen som i 2021 har været intet mindre en fantastiske, og vi skamroser bl.a. Lydmor, Drew Sycamore, Coco O, Jada, Greta, Selma Judith, Prisma og Rebecca Lou som alle har leveret eminente udgivelser i løbet af året. Derudover giver vi også maser af musikalsk kærlighed til andre af årets højdepunkter heriblandt Andreas Odbjerg, Wolf Alice, The War On Drugs, Michelle Ullestad, Magnus Tempels, Japanese Breakfast og Trentemøller. Til sidst i udsendelsen kigger også forsanger i The Grenadines og god ven af Noget Ved Musikken, Morten Fillipsen forbi studiet. Ud over anbefalinger af fremragende sange fra Calby, Penny Police og Sex & Ageing, så fortæller Morten om hvordan hans 2021 er gået rent musikalsk, og så afslører også han, at der er endnu mere at se frem til i 2022. Lydlandskabet #9: Rapport fra Summer Days i Roskilde, optakt til Minds of 99 i Parken – og vilde FVN. Efter en lovlig lang pause er Mediano Music tilbage – denne gang med niende episode af Lydlandskabet. Jan Eriksen og Tanja Brinks Toubro har haft travlt med bogskriveri, andre podcasts. Og nå ja, der var også noget med corona og bl.a. bla. De er i det hele taget fulde af undskyldninger. Men nu er der her med kort gæsteoptræden af Jans kat, Kiksen, i Lydlandskabet, podcasten der tager et vue ud over musikscenen lige nu og her. Tanja rapporterer fra Roskilde Festivals coronasikre mikrofestival Summer Days, hvor hun bl.a. har set Amina, Branco og faldt pladask for FVN. Og på dag 2 oplevede hun Ganger og Joyce og hun var til tyskerrave med Greta, der efterhånden er stamgæst i Lydlandskabet. Jan og Tanja ser frem mod festivalåret 2022 – og de ser på årets helt store begivenhed i dansk rock, bedømt ud fra volumen: Minds of 99's udsolgte koncert i Parken d. 11. september. Ingen af de to af decideret fans af Minds of 99, men vil gerne forstå dem, som man siger. De har lyttet til Coco O's nye album It's a Process. Tanja er faldet for Angående Mig og Jan for et nyt album med Johnny Cash-sange. Efter at have gået i vuggestue hos Mediano, er Mediano Music er fusioneret med mediet POV.International. Der er tale om et helt udramatisk brud med Mediano, der fremover kun fokuserer på fodbold. Det betyder at Mediano Music flytter ind POV's nye lokaler med podcaststudie tæt på Strøget i København.
