Send us a Text Message.Mitch talks about his investigation into internet Trolls or scammers. He found some celebrity scammers as well. The celebrity names and images of Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, and Kylie Minogue were used to attempt scams on Mitch so far. These celebrities should contact Mitch if they would like to see evidence and hear about a platform that can curb the misuse of celebrity images. The easiest way to stop scammers is to require photo ID to open an account but social media companies charge extra for verification. Mitch proposes a hotline for people who have been scammed to report the dollar amount. We can then keep a tally of how much money people were scammed out of compared to the cost of free verification for everyone. Mitch talks about his novel "Femme Party" and adds ideas to two of the platforms he proposed in the book. One is an idea for an AirBnB like platform called Block Party. He talks about how this platform could be used to take care of elderly neighbors. Mitch also talks about a car company focused on figuring out every viable car part in the United States and coordinating the use of these parts to build electric vehicles out of older cars. He proposes a collaboration with the History channel's "Counting Cars" to promote this new platform and car company.Support the Show.

There is a good reason why Australia's sovereign wealth fund, the Future Fund, maintains a 16% allocation to private equity. Returns, returns, returns. Private equity, and the lucrative returns it offers, has traditionally been the restricted domain of institutional investors and off limits to retail investors. Ellerston Capital's JAADE Private Assets Fund bucks that trend by offering retail investors exposure to unlisted Australian growth companies. Like private equity, JAADE's managers act as a partner with the companies it invests in by holding a space on their respective boards. It's a model that clearly works. As of June this year, the retail fund has returned 14.48% pa over three years and almost 18% per annum since inception. In today's episode, Livewire's David Thornton sits down with Jayne Shaw, Investment Director at Ellerston Capital and analyst for the JAADE fund. Jayne didn't take the typical road into funds management. Initially trained as a nurse, she went on to take a number of roles in leadership positions in healthcare organisations. This appropriately explains why Jayne looks after the healthcare allocation within the JAADE fund. She also explains why the “carpark indicator” is a great way to know when the deals are on in private equity. Topics include: the evolution of private equity over the last few years, today's deal flow, the first order principles that guide Jayne's process; and the investment case for Mable and Prospection – two companies that are shaking things up in the healthcare space. Well known Elvis tribute artist Dana Mackay and his beauty queen girlfriend Mary Huffman were murdered inside their Las Vegas mansion.Dana headlined at the Dunes casino before moving to the Imperial Palace where he was the first Elvis to star in 'Legends in Concert'. He was a father and looking to leave the spotlight and start a landscaping business, supplying high dollar palm trees to the city of Las Vegas. Mary was a mother and former Mrs. Nevada. On October 30, 1993, Las Vegas Metro Police were asked to do a welfare check on Mackay after family and friends had not heard from the couple in days. When police arrived to the mansion named 'mini Graceland', the door was open, groceries were all over the floor and Dana and Mary were dead in a pool of blood.Police say the two were murdered, shot at close range multiple times. At first, Metro police thought the couple may have walked in on a 'burglary in process', however friends say nothing was taken from the home. Dana's best friend Danny Koker (of Pawn Stars, Counting Cars) says Dana always carried a file with him. The file was stolen the day of the murder. It's unclear what was inside. At the time of the murders, Dana had been in the middle of a legal dispute with his former landscaping business partner. No suspects have been arrested, no persons of interest have ever been named in the case.If you have any information you are urged to call Las Vegas Metro Homicide Cold Case Detail at 702-828-COLD.Podcast WEBSITE (Case Photos)http://www.truecrimedeadline.comPodcast SOCIAL MEDIA:https://twitter.com/CrimeDeadlinehttps://www.instagram.com/truecrimedeadline/https://www.facebook.com/TrueCrimeDEADLINE/http://www.youtube.com/c/TrueCrimeDEADLINESupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/posts/true-crime-lets-26942079?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=postshare)
