It's been a long, strange trip with WCW Thunder but all sometimes good, often bad things must come to an end and we've reached the end of the road with Thunder. In the aftermath of WCW Greed, new details emerge about the fate of WCW, the collapse of the Fusient Media deal, and the WWF emerging as the likely buyer. But in typical WCW fashion, Thunder trudged on as if nothing was amiss. The Cruiserweights flew around and shined like the sun would never set, the hosses hossed, The Cat and MI Smooth cut a promo within a promo, Dustin Rhodes wore big, huge buttons, and Jeff Jarrett swatted away flies. It was mid, it was cozy, it was WCW Thunder. Goodbye Thunder, we hardly knew ye. Thanks! Follow us on Instagram @GetItAgainPodcast Got 2 (or more) words for us? In the final days of WCW, The Cat gets pushed into the main event scene but it's too little, too late. Tonight, The Cat is in a non-title main event against WCW World Heavyweight Champion Big Poop Pump Scott Steiner but with the arena half empty does the match make a sound? The Cruiserweights steal the show again with Shane Helms facing off against Elix Skipper and The Panel is treated to another first round matchup in the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship tournament. And apparently the graphics editor for WCW quiet quits when asked to make match graphics for tonight's big matches. Follow us on Instagram @GetItAgainPodcast Got 2 (or more) words for us? The booking of Rey Mysterio since his WWE return a couple years ago has been, well, like most booking within WWE, confusing. He's been up and treated like a star, he's been down and fighting over eyeballs for 67 months. In this episode, Phantom grabs his mighty pen, his handy dandy fantasy booking notebook and shares a fun scenario that see's Rey Mysterio, the at-one-time "king of the cruiserweights" go back to the division that helped gain him prominence in the wrestling world. This storyline see's him build a feud to WrestleMania 37 aiming to reclaim the Cruiserweight championship, one last time.
