Recording vocals while drunk, touring, the craziest fans - and motocross, are some of the key words in this episode. I met up with Erik, Magnus, Victor and Adde at a crowded backstage area after they finished their gig at the Karmøygeddon Metal Festival. This concert was also Adde Moon`s (former drummer of Hardcore Superstar) first performance with the band and he talks about how it felt onstage. The band released their latest album, "Megalomanium II", in 2024 and you get more insight on what that process was like. The camaraderie in the band, how playing melodic hard rock in the early 2000`s was like, musical inspirations and what really made them become musicians, are among other topics in this podcast episode. Sleaze rock doesn't get any better than Swedish outfit Hardcore Superstar, who hit Australia later this month for their third tour in four years.Since forcing their way into our lives with their debut album It's Only Rock N' Roll before the turn of the century Hardcore Superstar have ruled the roost of sleaze, redefining the genre with their blend of thrash meets sleaze meets rock.Their most recent album Abrakadabra introduced Hardcore Superstar to a new generation of music lovers and now they plan to share that love with their fans Down Under.Vocalist Jocke Berg joined HEAVY to discuss the run of shows, starting with the obvious question of what to expect."As I said to the other guy, and he asked me the same question, and I said if I give that away then it's not a surprise," he laughed. "I urge you people to buy tickets to the show instead of giving away the surprise right now. You want to see that live, the surprise. I can give away that it's gonna be a hell of a lot of energy, of course, as always.
