DISCLAIMER: The views expressed in this podcast are of the hosts and not of WKWC and Kentucky Wesleyan College. We do, however, believe in allowing our students the right to have a voice and a chance to speak freely with a professional frame of mind. In this last episode of Pinpals, teammates of the Women's Bowling team, Corynne Bean, Whitney Goodman, Daylin Tolgo and Alysa Conley, recap their bowling season. In April, as the season drew to a close, KWC made the difficult decision to suspend the men's and women's bowling programs for the foreseeable future effective with the end of this academic year. It's important to note that for all impacted students on athletic scholarship, KWC will honor those commitments to enable them to graduate as scheduled. All student-athletes who elect to remain at KWC will continue to have access to the full complement of academic support and medical services, if they remain in good standing under Kentucky Wesleyan College rules and those circumstances allow. For those who wish to transfer to other institutions to complete their college athletics eligibility, we will be available to answer questions and provide advice on the necessary next steps.

From suburban roots to an industry magnate, Ken Rohl's journey is aninspiring tapestry of determination and entrepreneurial flair. From his humble beginnings, where he embraced an outlook of perpetual learning and sought purpose in life as a young boy, to his immense success in the industry, his story is a testament to unwavering determination. His early years, raised in an environment that championed both tenacity and ambition, were foundational to his entrepreneurial spirit. With a father who believed in self-reliance and instilled a work ethic in him and a mother who nurtured a can-do attitude, Ken's path to success was carved by deep familial values. Ken's entry into the kitchen and bath industry was marked by fate when he introduced a unique pull-out kitchen faucet from Europe, showcasing his knack for spotting potential. His strategic approach to business growth was methodical, focusing initially on the Western US before branching out nationally. This careful expansion and a commitment to building relationships and an industry-wide reputation were pivotal to his brand's growth. Despite challenges, like the unexpected termination of the significant KWC contract, Ken's resilience emerged front and center. His foresight in planning and an unwavering spirit turned potential setbacks into opportunities for renewal and diversification, solidifying the Rohl brand. Ken's philosophy goes beyond just business. His emphasis on industry engagement, collaboration, and belief in "building the pie" for everyone has contributed immensely to the luxury kitchen and bath segment. Even in retirement, his journey continues. His dedication to sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience and involvement in community initiatives like local theaters and universities embodies his lifelong commitment to growth, learning, and giving back. He always knew that he was going to live a BIG life without the financial stress that his parents and everyone else around him seemed to be constantly feeling.Knowing he needed to take control of his life, Mat quickly shifted his focus to real estate investing. He constantly studied the ins and outs of how to purchase property like a sophisticated investor. Much of his knowledge and guidance came from his membership to REIN (Real Estate Investment Network), a network he is still actively involved with today.Once he put the pieces of the puzzle together becoming a real estate agent seemed to be a perfect fit. But he did not want to be your average, cookie-cutter agent; rather he wanted to carve out a niche specializing in single-family investment properties in KWC. The first step was enrolling in OREA (Ontario Real Estate Association) and signing up for his first course- ‘Real Estate as a Professional Career.” While the average person completes the three courses necessary to receive their license in 1 year, Mat completed the courses in just four short months.Being an established expert in single-family investment properties has allowed Mat to be in control of his life and financial future- two central tenets of his philosophy of ‘success.' By working with only ten serious and motivated investors at one time, Mat is able to focus on their specific criteria and provide superior service. This kind of dedication sets him apart from other realtors and he is now the agent he envisioned when he first realized he wanted to move forward on this career path.Connect with MatWebsite: KW Property Pro YouTube: The Fruitful InvestorLinkedIn: Mat PicheInstagram: @matpicheTo sign up for our monthly newsletter, visit our website at www.hiefire.com and connect with us through the social media accounts below!Facebook Page: High Income Earners FIREFacebook Group: High Income Earners F.I.R.E.Instagram: @hie_fireSponsorsBonavest CapitalTo learn more about building passive income through real estate syndications, visit www.bonavestcapital.com.Say YEH Stock OptionsLooking for ways to generate consistent cash flow and accelerate your journey to financial freedom?
