Heiko Vogel ist seit dem 7. Februar Interimstrainer des FC Basel. Und er wird es ziemlich sicher auch bis Saisonende bleiben. Kurzfristig wird der Club kaum einen neuen Trainer installieren. FCB-Reporter Stefan Plattner findet es den richtigen Entscheid, auf Vogel bis Ende Saison zu setzen. Er hat das Team stabilisiert und tolle Erfolge verzeichnet. FCB-Reporter-Kollege Stephan Gutknecht lobt die Art, wie Heiko Vogel das Team führt. Die Spieler treten mit mehr Selbstvertrauen auf. In Zukunft soll ein erfahrener Trainer das Team führen, betont Stefan Plattner und bringt Marc Schneider ins Spiel. Stephan Gutknecht findet Giorgio Contini einen interessanten Mann. Im zweiten Teil der Sendung gibt es das Interview mit Yannick Marchand. Im Sommer 2020 stand er für den FC Basel von Beginn weg auf dem Platz. Seither hat der inzwischen 23-Jährige viele Enttäuschungen und Rückschläge erlebt. Zuerst machten Probleme mit der Bandscheibe ihm zu schaffen. Dann konnte er sich weder bei Grenoble, noch bei Xamax durchsetzen. Nun nimmt Marchand in der 1. Liga einen neuen Anlauf. Bis Ende Saison spielt der zentrale Mittelfeldspieler für die U21 der Grasshoppers. Die letzten Jahre seien mental schwierig gewesen; aber auch lehrreich, betont Marchand. Er habe auch die unschönen Seiten des Fussballgeschäfts kennengelernt. Ausserdem gibt es eine neue Runde in unserem Wettbewerb "Zitate-Raten". «Ich bin lieber eine Legende als ein Denkmal. Auf ein Denkmal scheissen die Tauben.» Von wem stammt dieses Zitat? Kandidat ist dieses Mal Raul Bürgin vom FC Bubendorf. Im Wettbewerb geht es um 3 Kilogramm Jakobs Basler Leckerly. Vor 70 Jahren wurde der Reschensee aufgestaut und seither schaut von dem Dorf Graun nur noch der alte Kirchturm heraus. Der Ort wurde damals abgerissen und am Ufer neu aufgebaut. Nur den Turm wollte man nicht umstoßen und das im See zurückgelassene Relikt erlangte schnell Berühmtheit, wurde millionenfach fotografiert. Heute wird dessen „Instagramability“ sogar noch katalysiert durch die Netflix-Serie „Curon“, deren mystisch-düstere Erzählung den Turm mit neu gewobener Sagenhaftigkeit umhüllt. Und genau da, vor dieser Filmkulisse, startet die zweite Etappe der BIKE Transalp 2023.

Diese Episode wurde seit ihrer Veröffentlichung bereits 239 Mal heruntergeladen. Auf der heutigen 3. Etappe warteten zwar deutlich weniger Kilometer als an den beiden Vortagen, dafür aber mit 1918 Höhenmetern auf 38,2 Kilometer mehr Anstieg pro Kilometer. Das Wetter hielt den Tag über, sodass unserer Teams mit deutlich mehr Spaß (und weniger Gravel zwischen den Zähnen) ins Ziel kamen. Nini hat außerdem MArc Schneider vors Mikro bekommen und dieser erzählt uns etwas über die Entscheidungen, die er uns sein Team gestern treffen mussten.
