Jennifer acts as if they are still dating, and the others encourage Mariner to have a mature conversation and end things. Mariner avoids the confrontation, but her awkward, passive-aggressive behavior lets the nanites get out of control. Jennifer reveals she was just trying to force Mariner to talk about their breakup, and the two apologize. Rutherford finds a way to disable the nanites, discovering that they were controlled by a microscopic Starfleet ship from a parallel universe. Meanwhile, Boimler goes on a mission with Commander Ransom to locate AWOL Starfleet admiral Milius. Boimler suspects Ransom is treating him as cannon fodder, and briefly sides with Milius, who says he left Starfleet out of resentment at being assigned low-prestige missions. Ransom admits that he brought Boimler because he is always prepared and wanted to give him opportunities to showcase his bravery; Boimler subdues Milius, securing the mission. Milius is reassigned to help the microscopic ship return to its universe. First, a child predator that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson let out of prison after only a few months admitted that he knew she gave him a lenient sentence. But will this jeopardize her confirmation? It should, but it probably won't, partially because the news cycle got gobbled up twice since then. Big Joey Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a "butcher" in Poland this weekend and called for regime change in Russia. This is, yet again, another indication Biden has an apparent desire for World War III, which will almost certainly be nuclear. Luckily for all of us, though, apparently no one on Earth took him seriously and his puppet-masters talked him into taking it back by the end of the weekend. Alex gives you all the details. And last but not least, actor Will Smith slapped comic Chris Rock at the Oscars. Was it staged? Maybe, probably not. We discuss it with our guest today Amanda Milius - she is the director/producer of the terrific "The Plot Against the President" movie and also the daughter and Academy Award nominee, John Milius. A school in Chatham County, North Carolina held a mock “slave auction” where black students were “sold” by their white classmates. Apparently, incidents like this aren't uncommon at the school. One has to wonder, who thought this was a good or even appropriate idea? Trans swimmer Lia Thomas qualified for the 500-freestyle race at the NCAA Championships today. Footage from the race shows Thomas not only crushing the competition, but also their dreams of a collegiate championship. It's clear to anyone with eyes that these races aren't fair, and it's ridiculous this is being allowed for the sake of inclusion.
