Klein land, grote ambities.

Morocco is one of those destinations that sits on a lot of bucket lists. It had been on ours for a really long time. But for most people, it also comes with a lot of questions. How many days do you really need? Is it easy to get around? Should you try to plan it yourself… or work with someone local? And maybe the biggest one, what is Morocco actually like once you get there? What we've learned on this trip is that Morocco isn't just about the places you visit. It's about how you experience them. This episode is a little different. We're recording this from Morocco, sitting outside at our riad by the pool after several days traveling through the desert, the mountains, and local villages and we're going to introduce you to someone who has completely shaped this experience for us.

Today on the podcast, I'm honored to welcome Mustapha Ezzarghani — an Arab, a Moroccan, and a Muslim whose life and work unfold at one of the most charged intersections of our time. Mustapha is a political analyst, peace activist, and community organizer originally from Marrakech, Morocco. He is the co-founder and president of the Moroccan-Israel Friendship Association, an American organization dedicated to strengthening ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Israel through diplomacy, cultural exchange, and grassroots initiatives. Since MIFA's founding in 2020, Mustapha has led efforts to build economic and educational bridges between two peoples whose shared history is often forgotten and whose future is too often framed only through conflict. But Mustapha is more than a title or an organization. He is someone who lives at the intersection of experience and reflection — a thinker shaped not only by ideas, but by lived reality. His journey opens windows onto questions many of us wrestle with but rarely slow down enough to examine: identity and belonging, faith and doubt, tradition and change, responsibility and freedom. What makes this conversation especially powerful is Mustapha's willingness to speak honestly — without slogans, without simplifications — about Israel, the Jewish people, Morocco, and the wider Muslim world. He does not offer easy answers. He offers presence, insight, and the courage to sit with complexity. Raised with deeply ingrained assumptions about Jews and Israel, Mustapha describes how his worldview was transformed through personal encounters — including a moment that shook him to his core, when a Jewish Moroccan doctor from Israel helped save the life of a young girl from a poor Berber family in the Atlas Mountains. That experience sparked a reckoning, leading Mustapha to study Jewish history in Morocco, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the narratives he had once accepted without question. Influenced by Sufi education and Islamic scholarship — particularly the teaching that one should enter debate wanting to be convinced — Mustapha reminds us that dialogue was once a sacred act, not a political weapon. In a world addicted to certainty and outrage, he calls us back to listening, humility, and moral seriousness. 6: 19 - "We learn about the Jewish people from our textbooks, and at one time I decided to challenge everything I have learned," 12:30 - "If all our stories about the Jews of Morocco were positive, how come when they left to Israel, they became the devil." 27:10 - "When you bring an Arab to Israel for open-heart surgery and they go back home with hatred in their heart....it's because they couldn't find another identity." 39:44: "The hundreds of thousands of Jews we kicked out...turned them to land owners to refugees..is more then enough for us to support your new state, called Israel." 49:56: "Our wars against them (Israel), strengthened them, and it weakened us (the Arab world)" ——

The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Cardinals 41-22 in Week 11 behind a huge day from Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle. Purdy returned to the lineup with 3 touchdowns, including two to Kittle and one to CMC, as Kyle Shanahan kept the offense aggressive all game long.Special teams set the tone early with Skyy Moore's 98-yard kickoff return, leading to a quick McCaffrey TD. CMC finished with 3 total touchdowns, 121 scrimmage yards, and his first 20+ yard run of the season. Kittle added 6 catches, 67 yards, and 2 scores in another dominant outing. The 49ers defense delivered 3 takeaways (INTs by Lenoir and Mustapha, a goal-line FF by Upton Stout) and made key stops despite coverage issues and a quiet pass rush. Arizona hurt themselves with 17 penalties for 130 yards, while San Francisco committed just one.Visit Sports Spyder for up to date 49ers content: https://sportspyder.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/newsFollow us on Twitter @49ers_AccessFollow us on Instagram @49ers.AccessSeatGeek: “49ERSACCESS” for $20 off your first purchase!#49ers #Cardinals #NFLWeek11 #SanFrancisco49ers #ArizonaCardinals

In this episode, Kyle and Joe sit down with filmmaker Mustapha Khan and Dreamshadow's Elizabeth & Lenny Gibson to explore Life and Breath—a new documentary immersing viewers in the experience and community of Holotropic Breathwork. We talk about why Mustapha was drawn to Dreamshadow, the film's cinéma vérité approach that places you “in the room,” and how years of facilitation informed what became both an archival record and a living portrait of transformation. Elizabeth and Lenny reflect on 35+ years of holding space, the role of curiosity over agenda, and why genuine community—not just catharsis—is central to lasting growth. Kyle and Joe share personal reactions from a Breckenridge screening, the emotions it stirred, and how this work has shaped Psychedelics Today. We close on hope, relationship, and the power of gathering to remember who we are. Keep an eye out for upcoming screenings and Q&As with the team behind Life and Breath. Seaside Pod Review (A Queen Podcast)

Well, well, well. It's been over a year since we last visited the game! In June last year we were putting out the fire, but this week we're dealing with a frosty feline! It's a longer episode and for some reason we were very giggly and very silly when we recorded on Tuesday! Must be something in the water! But, we have the usual array of comments, minifestaytions, and shenanigans for you to listen to - and we always truly appreciate you listening! If Randy were to title this episode, he'd probably call it "Just cruising" or possibly, "Here's a song!"Today's episode looks at the madcap bluster of the overblown opener from the preposterous Jazz; "Mustapha!"NOTE: Skip forward to 30:58 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin. The music at the end of the episode is "Scared Outta My Mind", by the brilliant Ivan Anderson, in his guise as "Cyberattack". As we were talking about St. Vincent and her innovative guitar player, I wanted to give you a listen to an artist who is similarly pushing boundaries and taking the instrument into new and interesting areas. You can listen to it here: If you want to get involved in the Kofi Klub, you can make a donation here: https://ko-fi.com/seasidepodreview and let us know which song you want us to add to the wheel! Seaside Pod Review (A Queen Podcast)

Hey!It's a good closing line. Maybe could have closed the album with it instead of more of that jazz..... Look, it's bananas. It's kooky. It's wild and woolly. It's Persian. It's Arabic. It's mainly absolute bollocks. But it's Queen. One might almost say it's none more Queen! But what in the green shit will the Cardinal make of this one??? And how many cheese puns are we in for on social media after last week's lactose-infused semi-turd of a song?If Randy were to title this episode, he'd probably call it "Kev pods like others fart!" or possibly, "Kev gives himself a segue when it's time to go to bed!"Today's episode looks at the madcap bluster of the overblown opener from the preposterous Jazz; "Mustapha!"NOTE: Skip forward to 22:16 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin. The music at the end of the episode is "Through the Years", the first song Kev ever took in to Randy to record!
