Democrats are hoping to get climate policy passed by flipping at least three seats in the Pennsylvania State Senate. But a race in Pittsburgh's suburbs is leaving the environment out. More rain as a result of climate change is causing landslides and testing planning decisions made decades ago. Money from the Inflation Reduction Act is starting to flow into Pennsylvania, but future funding could be threatened by a second Trump administration. Also, Pennsylvania will receive about $245 million this year to clean up abandoned mine lands. With the presidential election just days away, environmental justice advocates see high stakes for their communities. How the practice of forest bathing can relieve stress and put us in touch with nature.
It seems pretty obvious by now after multiple partisan, hack newspapers have decided to issue no endorsements after decades of endorsing the Democrat ticket - they're trying to offer an olive branch to what's about to happen. It's gotten so bad, Jeff Bezos of Amazon and owner of the Washington Post wrote an open editorial admonishing liberal journalists for losing trust with their readers. Stigall thinks its far too late and you're seeing it in the way Trump is running his campaign this year. Philly DA Larry Krasner is suing Elon Musk for his million dollar give aways in Pennsylvania and attorney George Bochetto offers his response as well as his opinion on how Trump should handle the lawfare that's been waged against him in a new film called Chasing Trump II. Plus, Stigall checks in to the PA Senate race as Dave McCormick has pulled neck-and-neck with Bob Casey and why was a Republican woman arrested yesterday simply for encouraging voters to stay in line for a ballot? The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: 4:05pm- David Urban—Political Commentator for CNN & Senior Advisor to Donald Trump—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to preview the 2024 election, paying special attention to the race between sitting U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and Republican nominee Dave McCormick. According to new polling data, McCormick has cut into Casey's lead considerably and now trails by only 1%. Polls from earlier this year showed Casey leading by 4 to 10 points. Plus, if Joe Biden withdraws from the presidential race—making Kamala Harris the Democrat party's nominee—could Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro become a contender for Vice President? Urban argues that Shapiro would be wise to avoid the train wreck. 4:20pm- Senator John Tester (D-MT) was confronted by a reporter at the airport and asked to comment on President Joe Biden's mental fitness. He refused to answer questions. While speaking with Kaitlan Collins on CNN, Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) said he believes Biden will lose to Donald Trump in November. 4:30pm- Joe Biden's “big boy” press conference preview, Matt says—against all logic—that he believes Biden will ultimately be the Democrat Party's nominee, can you expense “companionship,” and did Bradley Cooper once date Huma Abedin? 4:40pm- The U.S. Senate did not confirm Judge Sarah Netburn—who was nominated to the U.S. Court for the Southern District of New York by President Joe Biden—even Democrat Senator John Ossoff (D-GA) ultimately voting against her. Netburn had previously endorsed moving a biological male sex offender to a women's prison.

PA GOP Candidate for Senate - Dave McCormick joins Dawn Stensland LIVE on 1210 WPHT. Dave first reacts to the Boyle drama seen in MontCo, before expanding on his campaign running against Bob Casey, and finding ways to give PA voters hope and opportunity.. Dave was born into a family of two hard-working teachers and spent his early years helping on the family farm. His parents instilled the values of hard work and resilience, which he follows today, and he is passing the lessons on to his children. Growing up, Dave played football and wrestled for his high school's team. He delivered newspapers and bused tables at a hotel. And when the time came, trimmed the Christmas trees so everyone who came to the farm had something beautiful to put in their home. As a 7th-generation Pennsylvanian who grew up outside of Pittsburgh, he knows the Steel City like the back of his hand. But after high school, it was time for Dave to leave the city and head to college. Dave was nominated and graduated from West Point, the United States Military Academy, with a mechanical engineering degree. When he wasn't keeping his head down studying for exams, you would see Dave practicing his wrestling skills for the school where he was a four-time letterman and a co-captain. His time at West Point only furthered the lessons that his parents instilled in him as a young child. He truly saw how dedication and hard work can pay off. Upon graduation, Dave enrolled in the U.S. Army Airborne School and Ranger School, where he was named the Honor Graduate of Ranger School. Shortly after, Dave joined the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper and was one of the first waves of deployments into Iraq during the Gulf War. As a Captain, Dave led his team of 130 soldiers in clearing minefields and destroying enemy munitions. Dave's service in the military ended in 1992, after five years of commissioned service, earning him a Bronze Star. His time in the Army again exemplified the hard-working and resilient values from his parent's teachings. From there, Dave went and earned his Ph.D. from Princeton University, moved back to Pittsburgh, and entered the private sector, where he employed hundreds of Pennsylvanians in his successful tech start-up. His work ethic was strong, and his accomplishments were so well known that he was nominated to serve in multiple positions, including Under Secretary of Treasury and Deputy National Security Advisor. In these roles, he led the fight to protect American technology from Chinese theft and advised the President on national security issues. When Dave returned to the private sector, he met his wife, Dina. The two of them have six daughters. Dave is running for the United States Senate to ensure this nation provides a promising future for his children and future generations. Herschel Walker opens up 5-point lead in Georgia; AZ, NV, PA Senate races all look good. Hear which ones Clay and Buck think are shoo-ins and which ones they say they are somewhat nervous about. De facto President Klain makes Dem case: GOP will make inflation worse. Economically illiterate Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse says you can't trust Republicans to lower gas prices. The Fetterman campaign blames closed captioning for his debate performance, Oz responds brilliantly. Buck says, "The Biden regime is the equivalent of the Fetterman debate performance." Clay says Biden's weekend plans are a signal: "Joe Biden is heading for his beach house this weekend, which means Democrats may have finally realized every time he opens his mouth it's a disaster." Dems getting nervous about New York governor race, expert audio clip warns it could be closer than people think. Other deep blue states, like Oregon, could see upsets. Vance trounces Ryan in Ohio senate debate. Buck talks about his Dem analyst friend's important comment about Ryan and says, "Yes, I have friends on both sides, and I listen.
