Episode 12 of The Meltdown Pinball Podcast is a group of pinballers going through ... not Post Pinburgh Depression as stated in the New Pinball Dictionary, but Post Pinburgh Decompression. This is part one of our collaboration, and I decided to separate it at a very appropriate point (you'll see .. or rather you'll hear). Part two (episode 13) will be released soon and will pick up right where part one leaves off. Join Duncan McFarlane, Luke Cervi, Jack Danger, Kikasaurus Rex and me as we break down Pinburgh and many other pinball things as they come up. This was Duncan's first Pinburgh competition, and ReplayFX was Luke's first-ever pinball show so I was happy to have their perspectives on ReplayFX, Pinburgh, and pinball in general. Although we were decompressing after Pinburgh ended, most of the discussion is "evergreen" as we cover more topics than just ReplayFX. There's no synopsis here ... Well, I'll add this: Many, and large quantities of beverages were involved in the making of this production (see cover photo). --- Music: Dilemmachine – Fred https://youtu.be/EPug-w5HVpE https://soundcloud.com/officialdilemmachine/fred Follow Dilemmachine SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/officialdilemmachine/ https://www.facebook.com/dilemmachinemusic Fun With Bonus is the home of the semi-coherent, misguided ramblings of professional and amateur pinball players.

Tony and Dennis are joined by Bruce Nightingale, of the Slam Tilt Podcast and The Silverball Saloon, to talk a bunch of pinball and a bit on the virtual side. Pinball: This episode has a huge focus on news-driven items. Discussion revolves around liquidation details for Heighway Pinball, that former pinball designer John Trudeau was arrested yet again, the pricing range currently proposed by deeproot Pinball, the Women's International Pinball Tournament happening at Replay FX this year, Dutch Pinball's announcement of litigation beginning between them and their former contract manufacturer, and a bit about the evidence regarding the growth of the pinball hobby as noted in an article with This Week in Pinball. From there, Bruce provides some details regarding operating the Silverball Saloon (and how pinball integrates into that venture). Tony walks everyone through the next round of The Worst of the Fall (a tournament where you vote for the WORST of any given pinball match-up), and the pinball segment concludes with a discussion of code and what old games can be salvaged from being disappointments and transformed into winners. Video Games: Discussion revolves around The Pinball Arcade and Farsight Studios announcing that the licenses to the Bally/Williams tables was lost and soon will be unavailable for purchase. Steven Kleisath joins our story with his journey though music, competitive gaming and airport limo runs. You've heard him before; he's played drums in Strongarm, Shai Hulud, Further Seems Forever, En Masse and Comanche. Mr. Kleisath is also the World Record holder in the classic arcade game "Mario Bros." - scoring over 5 million points. He is also the #3 Ms. Pac-Man (Turbo) player in the world as ranked by Twin Galaxies. All of this and still manages to drive for a Florida limo company called Alphatrans. He once toured with Shai Hulud AND Strongarm and played two sets a night! Steven tells us for the first time that there is a "How To Start A Fire" reunion brewing for 2016. (Thanks Steven!) He'll be in Pittsburgh in July/August as a panelist at Replay FX for Mario Bros, if you're a game fan you should go see him. Tell him ATSG sent ya...
