John's monologue today is about the lies Trump is spreading to undermine trust in the Social Security Administration with hopes of dismantling it and redistributing the funds to their rich, white oligarch benefactors. He also talks about the Trump Administration scaling back on tariffs levied on auto industry goods from our neighbors, after the stock market showed volatility towards Trump's tariffs. Then, he jokes with actor and podcast star Bob Cesca about Trump's address to congress and his Trade War with China, Mexico, and Canada. Next, John welcomes back The God Squad featuring former pastor Disember Rose and theologian Dillon Cruz. They chat about Christian Nationalism while mixing in scriptures and cursing. Then finally, Dr. Tracy Pearson gives her legal analysis expertise on current news of the day and they take calls from listeners on Trump's tariffs and lies.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I am naturally very introverted. On a personality assessment I took a few years ago, I scored a 7 out of 100 in the area of sociability. I'd like to say that I was surprised by these results, but I really wasn't. The rest of my scores only further revealed how introverted I am. I scored a 15 out of 100 for social events; I really struggle in social events. I scored a 40 out of 100 for crowds; the only reason my score was this high in this area is because I can blend into crowds. I scored a 19 for exhibitionist, which means I try to avoid the limelight; and I scored a 36 for entertaining, which means I'm usually direct. If I'm going to use humor, I will probably use dry humor.I tell you all of this so that you know how stressful social settings usually are for me. Yet, I help lead many people; I'm a pastor, and I speak in pulpits regularly. It's not that I can't engage in social settings or don't even enjoy them occasionally, it just means that they are usually stressful and energy-draining for me. I used to struggle with social intelligence. Imagine my introversion coupled with a lack of social intelligence; it created the perfect internal storm. I didn't know how to manage social settings, and I found myself feeling very insecure in groups of people, even early in my life. Many people struggle with managing social situations, and I assume you've struggled with insecurities in your life as well. Keep reading, and I'll share with you how I've worked to overcome this struggle.Subscribe for weekly church leadership content: ChristianLeaderMadeSimple.comWork with me (1:1 Executive Coaching): ryanfranklin.orgThe Christian Leader Blueprint (Free): ChristianLeaderMadeSimple.comYoutube/ Blog/ Podcast: ChristianLeaderMadeSimple.comConnect with me: Email: info@ryanfranklin.orgFacebook: @rnfranklinTwitter: @rnfranklinInstagram: @rnfranklin#christianleadermadesimple, #ryanfranklin, #leadershippodcast, #leadershipyoutube, #christianleader, #leadership, #thoughtleadership, #ministry, #pastor, #pastors, #churches, #leadershiptraining, #churchleader, #churchleaders, #influence, #leadershipdevelopment, #coaching, #executivecoach, #leadershipcoaching, #productivitycoach, #productivity, #growthmindset, #theproductiveleader, #emotions, #thechristianleaderblueprint, #socialintelligenceCopyright © 2021 Ryan Franklin. My name is Gregory Kinnard, uh, I go by the book author, music artist, and movie screenwriter name "Promise." This is a piece from my book, self-help non-fiction, titled "Social Insecurity Number." This is the introduction. Through first-, second-, and third-hand experience of guys, males have placed lifelong limitations on most women and girls. The title of this book, "Social Insecurity Numbers," stands for how society social gives women and girls insecurities based on the women and girls' body measurements—numbers. These numbers are the measurements of your breast, butt, height, weight, hair length, waistline, stomach, et etera. Such insecurities are not natural to the daughters, mothers, nieces, grandmothers, aunts, girlfriends, wives, sisters, fiancees of society in America and abroad. These unnatural insecurities are forced and bombarded onto you by us guys. Us guys either intentionally, most, or unintentionally, few, make you insecure as a selfish defense mechanism used to stop in or prevent you women and girls from outshining and outgoing us guys. This book isn't simply for you ladies of all ages. It's also for us guys of all ages. Especially it's to highlight the God-given birthrights to fight, overcome, and live lives and better reaching up to our fullest potential by [inaudible] uplifting girls and women throughout society by treating ladies with supreme, which means most high, equality, which means equal in all things. The mass majority of those guys have been programmed since childhood to discriminate on the opposite sex without ever even paying attention to the miseducation us guys received by the numerous aspects of societies rearing the processes resulting in us guys, so-called men, waging full-scale wars on the girls and women in every walk of life. Despite what religions believe and teach about paradise, heaven, and the reward aspect of any alleged afterlife, I proudly admit the only heaven men may ever achieve by realistic experience and expectations isn't having the non-traditional love and companionship. By you ladies being subject victim to insecurities about your physical bodies, shapes, sizes, equal numbers, those insecurities spread into all of the areas of your life and free thought and expression to the point where you aren't even able to clearly focus on living up to even half of your full potential, all because you're too busy swimming or even drowning in the sea of insecurities. The male-dominated corrupted world oftentimes practices the most damaging and forgivable hypocrisy to hold you ladies back in order for us guys to maintain a false sense of superiority over society at large. "Social Insecurity Numbers" is a lifeguard that has the powerful potential to see most of you women and girls. Unfortunately, it will not seem all of you simply because all of you don't think you need saved nor do all of you want saved. Solutions to these century-old problems are offered simply as options that you could accept or reject as you see fit. You can exercise the offered solutions to these deeply rooted problems, however, I warn you as I am a men, that's a guy who just so happens to be a man, that if you don't give this book your undivided attention and put your all into the solutions offer, then your results may not be what you expect. I can assure you that you will benefit in countless ways by reading this and trying your individual [inaudible] private solutions first, and secondly, doing your best collectively to apply the solutions, remedies, and therapy. Society gives us guys insecurities based on the number of emotions we feel and express to the world. We are dehumanized and programmed to act like animals and robots. Right here in your hands are solutions for you fellas too. My initial approach and writing this book, "Social Insecurity Numbers," was from a journalistic point of view and peeling back the multi onion layers of common insecurities. It only took about a month to discover that I had only reached the tip of the iceberg. At the core of those insecurities has always been some sort of hidden agenda and deception lies. I leave you a piece on the note of think if you will and challenge if you dare. Uh, my name is Gregory Kinnard. My, my state number is EV9358. You can find me at the PADOC website at SCI Forest. You could do an email contact with me.

Compared to its OECD peers, Australia has an above-average poverty rate, and couples this with rising rates of homelessness, an increasingly casualised workforce, and dole rates so low that a chorus of voices from across the political spectrum are calling for an increase in Newstart payment. But has the country really got the measure of poverty rates and their impacts? In Matthew, Jesus gives His sermon on the mount and asks His followers not to worry, as their faith will replace their fear. Social Security strikes fear in many people, especially regarding how long it will be around. This week, Hans and Robby discuss how  to apply faith, or in this case fact, to Social Security, in order to alleviate fears and maximize your benefit. The Social Security 2018 Trustees Report was recently released. While this report is very long, Hans summarizes it, basically saying that the Social Security fund was increased by millions of dollars this year, they did not have to dip into reserves. A lot of this money comes from Social Security benefits that are paid out and then taxed. That money goes back into the fund. While there are strategies to put into place so that you do not have to pay taxes on your Social Security benefit, including Roth IRAs, there are still many people who do pay taxes on this money. This alone gives Hans faith that Social Security will be around for a while, no matter what people are saying. Robby relates this to Ephesians 6, where Paul talks about the Shield of Faith. At the time Ephesians was written, shields were used to protect fellow soldiers in addition to the soldier himself. Shields were essential because they protected the team. The Shield of Faith should be applied to Social Security. If your faith waivers in Social Security, it could cause people around you to worry about Social Security too. Of course, Social Security does leave some areas of worry. Hans talks about not mixing legitimate Social Security worries with worries not based in truth.   Next up, Hans and Robby discuss Social Security timing. You can start Social Security as young as 62, however you may not want to start it until you either need it or reach full retirement age . Even if you’ve already started Social Security early, there are strategies you can use in order to stop the payments and wait until your full retirement age. You can get the largest Social Security check if you wait until age 70, the latest age to take Social Security. Your spousal situation affects your Social security check as well, even if you are divorced or widowed. What happens when one spouse dies? Hans talks about how the survivor gets to keep the larger of the two checks, but one check still goes away. Life insurance can be a good way to make up for the difference. Long-Term care is also affected by Social Security, as it is the first place your family will get the money to pay the bill. It is important to not solely rely on Social Security to pay this bill though, as it will usually cover only a small part.   Don’t forget to get your copy of “The Complete Cardinal Guide to Planning for and Living in Retirement” on Amazon or on CardinalGuide.com for free! Your Parenting Mojo - Respectful, research-based parenting ideas to help kids thrive

This episode is on a topic that I find fascinating – the cultural issues that underlie our parenting. I actually think this issue is so important that I covered it in episode 1 of the podcast, which was really the first episode after the introductory one where I gave some information on what the show was going to be about. But recently I read a book called (http://amzn.to/2FRg5mm)  (Affiliate link) by Jean Twenge, a Professor of Psychology at San Diego State University, which discusses some of the cultural contexts that have led to the generation of people born since 1970 to develop a certain set of characteristics that sometimes seem very strange to those who were born before us, and may be leading us to raise children who are just a bit too individualistic. In this episode I discuss some of those characteristics and what implications they have for the way we parent our own children, and offer some thoughts on how we can shift that our approach if we decide we want to. Jim Russell is a sociologist and it was his encounter with the hidden realities of his own 401(k) retirement plan that touched off his crusade to demystify for himself, and then others, just what was at stake in the options presented by private and public retirement plans. In Social Insecurity: 401(k)s and the Retirement Crisis (Beacon Press, 2014), he puts into plain language for ordinary Americans the arcane terminology used by retirement-fund managers, and uses his own real-life experiences to build an empathetic bond with anxiety-laden readers. Russell moves seamlessly between the personal and political, the present and past, the domestic and global. The holism of his sociology is Russell’s strongest suit. With admirable succinctness and clarity–this is economics for the-rest-of-us–he recounts the Chicago-school economics that spawned the right-wing privatization movement. He then situates in the emergence of neoliberalism the corporate campaign to move billions of dollars from American pension accounts under pubic and labor union control into private hands. Turns out, the privatization of pension funds is not just an accompanying feature of global neoliberal strategy but the bull’s eye of the target, ground zero of the attack on centrally planned economies like Chile’s under Allende, and the former Soviet Republics.
