Aktuális Előhang Podcastünk epizódjában Hózsa Zsófia ezúttal Balázs Jánossal beszélgetett a január 23-i koncert kapcsán.
Hello! Welcome to another edition of the exclusive audio commentary podcast hosted by me, David Hughes. For this episode, we're joined by Swiss director Peter Luisi for a fascinating discussion about his new film The Last Screenwriter, the first film scripted entirely by A.I. – specifically ChatGPT4.0 Now, before you grab your pitchforks and burning torches and lay siege to Rogue Commentary HQ, hear me out: I'm staunchly, even militantly anti-A.I. in the arts. But when I heard that London's beloved Prince Charles Cinema had called off what was to be the world premiere of The Last Screenwriter because of blowback it receive online, I was disheartened, because it seemed that Peter's film was a genuine attempt to engage with the question of A.I. in film specifically, and that we desperately needed to have the kind of conversation the film should have, and would have, provoked. Instead, by shelving the screening, conversation as shut down. As I said in my subsequent piece for Time Out, I don't think the screening would have been cancelled if the film was being presented as an experimental film by a known quantity such as a Michael Winterbottom, a Steven Soderbergh or Mike Figgis. While not exactly a household name in his native Switzerland, Peter co-wrote his country's excellent Oscar entry for 2007, Vitus, and is the writer, director and producer of last year's Bonjour Switzerland, the 8th most successful Swiss film of all time, and the biggest-grossing film in Switzerland since the advent of streaming. The Last Screenwriter is now available online, for free, at lastscreenwriter.com and there's no need to have seen it before listening to Peter's commentary, but whether or not you've seen the film – and I would urge you to give it a watch – I think you'll find Peter's commentary as fascinating as I did. Thanks Peter! Comments? Feedback? Suggestions? Email David *at * Rogue-Commentary *dot* com or send us a tweet. Paulina Luisi

Welcome back! I'm Nancy Lang Gibbs and I'm back in the podcast chair at the mic to talk about real estate. Why are we talking about real estate on Loving Later Life you may be wondering? Did you know that women make up the majority of home buyers and the majority of realtors; and that real estate is a subject that affects women more than men? I wanted to talk with a trusted source about what is happening in the market and why, and what we might expect in the (near) future. So, I reached out to Jo Ann Luisi, Senior Real Estate Specialist. ….. Jo Ann is an East Bay native and Bay Area realtor with over 20 years of experience. With her extensive expertise in the real estate industry Jo Ann has become an invaluable resource for countless clients, especially seniors transitioning to new chapters in their lives. Her dedication to helping seniors extends far beyond the transaction itself. She understands the unique needs and desires of this demographic and genuinely cares about their well-being. I had so much fun talking with her! She is not just and expert in her field. She is a warm, caring human whose priority is serving her clients. Prepare to be inspired and educated. Take a listen!

Paloma Luisi serves as Manager, Research & Evaluation at HITLAB. Her work focuses on leading research projects that aim to evaluate new technologies or ideas. She uses her passion for research to develop appropriate, and oftentimes innovative methodologies, to study healthcare innovations and works to translate findings into real-world results that have the potential to improve lives. Her professional experience is grounded in academic degrees in public health, anthropology, and economics from Fordham University and Hunter College. In this interview, Paloma tells us about the HITLAB and all the work she is doing on examining how technology may positively influence health delivery moving forward, while still recognizing the challenges in doing so. From mHealth and telemedicine to Health 2.0 many other emerging technologies, Paloma provides an in-depth look at innovation in health today with recommendations for apps and resources.
