Gaylene Thomas was given the power of attorney to sell her mother Adela Cottam's home, but after doing so, withdrew 188-thousand-dollars from her mother's account without her consent. We discuss her father's connections to Carol Burnett, Steve and Eydie, Bob Newhart, Mike Connors, which were both personal as well as professional. Kelly also doesn't shy away from the dark chapter in the Conway story as the elder Conway became less able to take care of himself. We hear stories about how he was cared for by his second wife and her daughter that is one of the most difficult interviews we have ever done. Somehow Kelly is able to guide us on a journey that had us laughing one minute and on the verge of tears the next. On Thursday, December 19, 2024, deputies with the Rankin County Sheriff's Department in cooperation with the Pearl Police Department arrested Joshua Daniel Pace for Making Terroristic Threats. From approximately 10:13pm yesterday (Wednesday, 12/18/24) to 8:52am on today (Thursday, 12/19/24); the Rankin County Sheriff's Department Communications Division received in excess of 20 phone calls where the 911 Dispatchers were threatened with physical violence and the caller even threatened to “blow up” the sheriff's office. After investigators with the sheriff's office obtained the call recordings and identified the suspect's phone number, Pace was found to be the subscriber. At that time an arrest warrant was sought and obtained for Joshua Pace through the Rankin County Court. Once Pace was taken into custody it was discovered that he was out on Parole through the MS Department of Corrections for Elder Abuse. Joshua Pace is currently being held at the Rankin County Detention Center on $100,000 bond. This is an on-going investigation. The Rankin County Sheriff's Department would like to express its appreciation to the Pearl Police Department for their assistance in capturing Pace.
