Today, Paul M. Neuberger charges headlong into the “separation of church and state” debate—not to play by the world's rules, but to call them out. America hasn't silenced religion—it's replaced Christianity with a new god called secular humanism. Neutrality? It's a myth. Every company, every classroom, every government is preaching a gospel—just not always the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The cost? Criticism. Accusation. Exile from the “acceptable” conversation. But remember this, men—Jesus is still Lord. The Word is still truth. The light isn't meant for the sanctuary—it's meant for the world. The battle lines are drawn. What will you do when you're asked to check your faith at the door? Will you stay silent, or will you stand?"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." –Matthew 5:16Episode Highlights12:07 - Now that we've established why I don't believe a truly neutral public square exists, I want to talk about the worldview that has increasingly filled the space once occupied by Christianity in a lot of our cultural institutions. And again, that worldview is secular humanism.20:23 - If somebody says my position comes from biblical truth, they're frequently accused of bringing religion into the discussion. But if somebody else says my position comes from personal autonomy or human flourishing or social progress or evolving moral consensus, those ideas are often treated as though they're simply objective and universal. That is an example of inconsistency, because those are moral frameworks too.41:00 - I believe that one of the greatest dangers facing the American church today is not persecution. Instead, it's passivity. Apathy. Far too many believers have convinced themselves that if they simply stay quiet, work hard, attend church on Sunday, and avoid controversy, that everything is going to somehow work itself out. I don't believe history supports that conclusion. Not by a mile.Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite
Zubayr Ibn al-Awaam رضي الله عنه (S43) Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى said regarding the Badris رضي الله عنهم that they can do whatever they want, Paradise is obligatory upon them and that they have been forgiven. Ali رضي الله عنه would do six Takbeers in janazah prayers for Badris رضي الله عنهم, five for any Companion رضي الله عنهم of the Messenger ﷺ and four for any other Muslim. After Badr, the disbelievers swore revenge. The following year, the battle of Uhud occurred.

The official story on Charlie Kirk's murder is collapsing under its own lies. Since September 10, 2025, the government, Turning Point USA handlers, court system, law enforcement, and their media propagandists have run a massive cover-up. Courtroom witnesses Brandi Siciliani and Billy Webb just exposed Jack Posobiec, Benny Johnson, and the Epstein binder gate crew for lying about 4K HD footage of Tyler Robinson taking the shot. This kangaroo court is collapsing, the public is the real jury, and controlled opposition is getting caught pushing the fake narrative. Celebrate freedom while we still have it. In this powerful episode of The Blue Tick Show, Mikey sits down with Irish Glenn — widely known as Blinking — for a raw, unfiltered conversation about trauma, loss, redemption, and purpose.Glenn opens up about being labelled “the worst kid in school,” growing up without a father, and going down the wrong path at a young age. He speaks honestly about making fast money, taking drugs, and losing himself after the devastating loss of his first son — a moment that changed his life forever. From hitting rock bottom to becoming a father again, Glenn explains how he rebuilt his life, found discipline, and developed an obsession with growth. He also dives deep into his controversial belief in numerology, claiming it predicts key moments in his life “to the date,” and how it now guides his decisions, mindset, and future goals. We also break down Glenn's journey with Blinking, how he went from buying jewellery to becoming a key figure in scaling the brand, and why he's now stepping into a new chapter focused on building his own legacy. This episode covers real pain, real mistakes, spiritual growth, entrepreneurship, fatherhood, and the mindset needed to turn your life around when everything feels lost.

“I would never do that” can feel like a boundary, but sometimes it's a wall. Today we get honest about the weird moment when you look back at your past self and laugh because you did the exact thing you swore you'd never do and it actually made your life better. I'm sharing my own never say never turns, plus the mindset shift that helped me stop treating every decision like a locked door. Then we go deeper than “confidence tips.” I've been feeling a shift toward self reclamation: figuring out who you are without labels, noise, and old rules you inherited. Confidence becomes the result of knowing yourself, trusting your gut, and letting yourself evolve through big life transitions like relationships, motherhood, and career pivots. The question I leave you with is simple and uncomfortable in the best way: what would happen if you didn't say never? If this hits home, subscribe so you don't miss what's next, share it with a friend who's in a pivot, and leave a review so more women can find the show. What's the biggest “never” you've outgrown?Join the Self(ish) Sisterhood: $33/month or $333/year.Thank you for listening to Self(ish) Confidence! Parenting can be one of life's greatest joys—and one of its greatest challenges. In Episode 465 of Friends Talking Nerdy, The Reverend Tracy and Tim the Nerd dive into an honest and thought-provoking discussion about emotional regulation, generational trauma, and the ongoing journey of becoming the kind of parent, caregiver, or role model we wish we'd had ourselves.Throughout this episode, The Reverend Tracy and Tim The Nerd explore the delicate balance between discipline and connection, authority and empathy, and structure and flexibility. They discuss how emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in parenting, particularly for fathers who may have grown up in environments where emotional expression was discouraged or misunderstood. The conversation highlights the reality that children learn far more from what they observe than what they are told. From handling frustration and disappointment to navigating conflict and vulnerability, kids are constantly watching the adults around them for cues on how to engage with the world. The Reverend Tracy and Tim The Nerd examine why emotional consistency, self-awareness, and the willingness to repair mistakes can have a profound impact on a child's emotional development and long-term resilience. The episode also explores how cultural influences—from television and movies to social media and modern parenting trends—shape our expectations of what parents should be. Together, they unpack common myths about parenting perfection and discuss why embracing imperfection may be one of the healthiest things a caregiver can do.Among the topics discussed:• The connection between emotional regulation and healthy child development• How generational trauma is passed down—and how it can be interrupted• Why overcorrection often creates new parenting challenges• The importance of vulnerability and accountability in building trust• Emotional intelligence and why it's a skill that can be learned at any age• How children mirror the emotional habits they witness every day• Practical ways to model healthy conflict resolution and resilience• The science of attachment and its influence on lifelong relationships• The role of self-awareness in becoming a more intentional parent• How media and cultural storytelling influence children's understanding of family dynamicsWhether you're raising children, helping care for them, supporting loved ones, or simply trying to understand how your past experiences continue to shape your present relationships, this episode offers valuable insights, practical tools, and plenty of encouragement.Real growth doesn't require perfection. It starts with awareness, reflection, and the courage to make small changes that create lasting impact. Join The Reverend Tracy and Tim the Nerd as they explore how mindful parenting, emotional honesty, and intentional vulnerability can help build stronger relationships and healthier futures for the next generation.Growing yourself may be the greatest gift you can give to the people you love—and it's never too late to begin.Listen now and take the first step toward more connected, compassionate, and emotionally aware parenting.Support Friends Talking Nerdy on Patreon. As always, we wish to thank Christopher Lazarek for his wonderful theme song. " I see the way you look at me. And I know that you know it's not one-sided."---You have the ability to sever the ties that bind lovers and soulmates. When fae seek you out, desperate to be released from their sorrow, grief, and unrequited love, you usually oblige. However, when the beautiful Lysander darkens your doorstep, you hesitate. His pain is something you can clearly see - raw and undeniable. Yet when he asks for your help, you refuse. To your surprise the stubborn prince isn't taking no for an answer and what ensues is a game of cat and mouse, of teasing and denial. And as the days stretch into weeks, Lysander's pleas are slowly replaced by something neither of you expected: laughter, lingering glances, and the brush of fingertips. Perhaps it's coincidental, or perhaps it's true what they say; two broken hearts can heal in the right company. Or maybe…it's just fate.---IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HEAR THE FULL SPICY VERSION OF THIS AUDIO, YOU CAN LISTEN HERE Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This week on Oooh They Funny, the crew tackled one of life's funniest realities: becoming the exact person you swore you'd never be. From going to bed early and getting excited about discounts to sounding just like their parents when it comes to lights, thermostats, and "we got food at home," the conversation explored how age, responsibility, relationships, and life experience have a way of humbling all of us. The hosts shared stories about the habits, attitudes, and compromises they once judged, only to find themselves doing the same things years later. The discussion was packed with laughs, personal stories, and plenty of moments that had everyone realizing they're slowly turning into the adults they used to make fun of.The second half of the show shifted into a thought-provoking "Would You Rather" conversation centered around death and destiny. The hosts debated whether they'd rather know the exact date of their death or the age they'd be when it happened, and discussed how that knowledge would change the way they live. Would it motivate them to take bigger risks, spend more time with family, or stop worrying about the little things? Or would it create anxiety and make it harder to enjoy life? The conversation mixed humor with surprisingly deep reflections about time, purpose, and making the most of the years we're given. The episode also introduced Week 1 of the new Oooh They Funny Choose Your Own Adventure series. The hosts were presented with a mysterious scenario filled with difficult choices, unexpected consequences, and plenty of debate. As the story unfolded, the cast had to work together to decide which path to take, knowing their decisions would shape what happens next. With suspense, laughs, and a few disagreements along the way, the adventure got off to an entertaining start and left everyone eager to see where the story goes next week.

"On the outside, I too looked like a pretty picture. Inside, I was dying. I had so much pain and shame and suffering. Pretending isn't enough to make it go away." — Andrea Leeb About This Episode Andrea Leeb spent decades building a life that looked perfect from the outside — nurse, attorney, MFA graduate, happily married. But behind that picture was a secret she carried since she was four years old. In this deeply honest conversation, Andrea tells Mike about her debut memoir Such a Pretty Picture, which chronicles her survival of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her father, her complicated relationship with the mother who looked away, and the long road to finding her voice. She also talks about surviving the 2004 tsunami in Thailand, how the Me Too movement gave her the courage to finally write the story she'd sworn she'd never tell, and why healing is never a straight line. Andrea is donating all of her book royalties to the UCLA Rape Treatment Center and RAINN. Key Takeaways 1. She survived a tsunami — and it changed everything. In 2004, Andrea and her husband survived the Christmas Day tsunami in Thailand. That brush with death made her realize she needed to stop treating writing as a hobby and start treating it as a calling. 2. She swore she'd never write this story. For years, Andrea outlined the book and then told herself no. She wrote fiction, essays, anything else. It wasn't until her father passed away in 2017 — the same year the Me Too movement began — that she finally felt free to tell the truth. 3. Her mother caught the abuse and went blind. When Andrea was four and a half, her mother walked in on the abuse, screamed, passed out, and developed hysterical blindness for a month. Andrea blamed herself. Her mother never left her father. 4. Forgiveness and letting go aren't the same thing. Andrea never forgave her father, but she did let go of the anger — a distinction she says was essential to writing the book without creating monsters. She ultimately forgave her mother. 5. The title came from her editor, not from her. Andrea struggled with the title through every draft. Her publisher found a line in the book where Andrea's mother looks at a childhood photo and says, "Such a pretty picture" — a perfect encapsulation of the beautiful surface hiding the chaos underneath. 6. Pretending works until it doesn't. Andrea kept her secret for decades and appeared fine — until a stranger touched her on the subway and she unraveled. Her message to survivors: you can heal, but you have to get help. Pretending won't make it go away. 7. She's giving away every dollar. All royalties from Such a Pretty Picture go to the UCLA Rape Treatment Center and RAINN. What started as a mission to help one person has grown into full-time advocacy, including board work and policy efforts. What if the secret to handling modern stress had been hiding in nature for thousands of years? Long before pharmaceutical interventions and clinical trials, healers across India, China, Siberia, and Scandinavia were using a powerful group of herbs to help the body adapt, recover, and thrive under pressure. Today, science is finally catching up — and the results are fascinating. In this episode of The Science of Self-Healing, we're exploring five of the most well-researched adaptogenic herbs — ashwagandha, rhodiola, holy basil, schisandra, and eleuthero — and uncovering why these ancient remedies are becoming some of the most talked-about tools in modern wellness. You'll learn how adaptogens work with your body's stress response system, why chronic stress is doing more damage to your immune system than you might realize, and how these herbs have been shown to lower cortisol, reduce fatigue, sharpen mental clarity, and strengthen immune defenses. Whether you're feeling burned out, run down, or just looking for a natural edge in your daily health routine, this episode will give you the science-backed knowledge you need to understand what adaptogens are, how they work, and how to use them safely and effectively. Ancient wisdom. Modern science. One powerful conversation. Let's get into it.

Steve Holle spent decades in real estate investment before walking away at 55, moving back to his Kansas City hometown and opening KC Bier Co. — one of the region's most distinctive breweries. Now 12 years in, Steve sits down with Nigel and Nick to talk about the brewery's German roots, the Reinheitsgebot purity law it follows, and why imported Bavarian malt changes everything in the glass. He also breaks down the realities of running a craft brewery today: tariffs on German ingredients, a softening wholesale market, and why the tasting room model is quietly winning. Plus — a second KC Bier Co. location is coming to Lenexa, Kansas, complete with a beer garden, live music stage, full scratch kitchen, and yes, an off-leash dog area. Three mystery beers round out the episode, including a Krampus winter warmer and a West Coast IPA that earns some genuine praise from a certified beer judge.
In this candid and emotional moment from The Jubal Show, the crew checks in on what’s been happening in their lives lately—and one story takes a surprising turn. 12pm hour of The K&C Masterpiece! Should this still be Corey Seager's team or perhaps Wyatt Langford's? Are there any other options?? Who is the player that you told everybody (EVERYBODY) was gonna be awesome ... and they were underwhelming. Super Bowl news, facts and figures
This week on Two Parents & A Podcast, it's one of those episodes where nothing is technically related… and yet somehow it all is. Very Friday energy (but HAPPY MONDAY!!!). We kick things off with Tate entering her unzipping era (a big-girl milestone no one prepares you for!!!) and come to terms with the fact that we've officially become the parents we SWORE we'd never be (hahahaha). We have another SHOW REC (is this our new thing???) - His & Hers.. Then react to Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's take on Netflix and filmmaking (I think we agree?? I mean we are to the point that Harrison bought a phone lock box sooooo). Then it's toddler parent life as usual: discovering that “tractor wheels” are apparently a food, relying on DoorDash as a legitimate parenting strategy, and settling a cohabitating Bicker of the Week we didn't know we felt so strongly about (do you dry off IN the shower or ON the bath mat??). Mid-episode chaos includes gym drama involving a smoothie bar heist (and learning about Harrison's fascination with bank robberies?!), home updates (haunted light, breakfast nook plans, and our couch ordered on vibes alone), and a very real debate about whether Dad gets any say in nursery design. We also talk through our night nurse plan for baby #2 — why we're doing it again and what we learned the first time around. We close with Tate discovering SHOPPPING (hello sparkly cowboy boots), why buying kids clothes for their “future age” is a scam, a viral moment where a mom throws an iPad out the car window (we have thoughts), an alarm clock that charges you to snooze, and the comment section absolutely lighting us up over the word “de-thaw” (WOOPS). LOVE YOU GUYS! www.patreon.com/dopeypodcast This week on Dopey! Dave opens the episode feeling sick, dreading his upcoming dental implants, and joking about painkillers, nitrous, and Tylenol PM. He congratulates longtime dopes Margaret Hernandez (36 years sober) and Mattie Veach (recovering from cancer surgery), prays for the Knicks, and introduces guest RJ Elizarraz, co-host of Against All Odds with Rachel Slocum and founder of Oak Forest Recovery. Before diving in, Dave reads Spotify comments from the Brace Belden episode — about therapy, high memories, Suboxone, and more — gives shoutouts to listeners, and pushes the legendary Dopey socks. He jokes about how each platform reacts differently: Patreon loves him, Reddit hates him, Facebook doesn't care.He plays an old Miles Davis clip about Charlie Parker doing drugs and sex in a taxi while eating fried chicken, and finds the recovery moral in it — acceptance is the key. A listener named Nathan from San Francisco sends a disgusting classic: at 12 he cooked and ate his own poop hoping it would make DMT. It didn't. He puked, got bullied, overdosed, and finally got sober. Dave laughs, calls it top-notch Dopey storytelling, and awards him socks. Then comes the main interview with RJ Elizares. They record in RJ's Westlake Village home — complete with an infrared sauna, cold plunge, and jade crystal massage bed. RJ also runs a marketing agency for medical clients and has a 13-year-old daughter.RJ tells his story:Grew up in Westlake, straight-edge nerd playing video games and paintball.Swore he'd never do drugs, then caved at 15 after a best-friend betrayal.Smoked weed with his stepbrother, laughed hysterically at Maury Povich, devoured frozen peas, and instantly became “the stoner.”Started selling weed and stealing paintball gear; pulled off a heist from an optometrist's back-room store until his stepbrother turned him in for the reward.Skipped school, bribed attendance clerks with weed, got caught high at a parent meeting, expelled. At continuation school, excelled while high, manipulated teachers, and got expelled again for lying.Ran away on a dirt bike, sold weed full-time, then transferred to another continuation school where a rival stabbed him in the arm with a pencil for “selling on his turf.”Graduated early by testing out, kept selling, moved out, and lived off weed money. With his girlfriend (later the mother of his daughter) did ecstasy, coke, Xanax, mushrooms, pills — everything but heroin. She overdosed on ecstasy and stopped breathing before being revived — a turning point moment.
