Freedom is most precious to those who have lost it, and Sara has listened to many stories from those who have escaped repression or have fallen into it. It started long before she was a reporter. She grew up hearing about acts of courage against the communists in Cuba from her own mother. And today, standing up to the power and control of the Chinese Communist Party requires a tremendous amount of bravery.Sara has visited with the freedom fighters from Hong Kong and beyond. She knows their stories and the courage it takes to stand up to the merciless control of the CCP. We've seen China crush the freedoms of its own people in Hong Kong. It's now expanding that repression to neighboring counties, and it's been happening here in the U.S. for a long time too. Major corporations, sports leagues, and Hollywood studios all pathetically grovel before Beijing in order to squeeze every possible dollar out of the Chinese market. Meanwhile, all of those entities refuse to condemn China for its concentration camps against Uighur Muslims, slave labor, or religious persecution. And the Biden administration doesn't seem serious about confronting any of this behavior either.Sara also welcomes activist Yoko Ishii to share the story of China literally trying to stamp out the native language in Mongolia, replace it with its own, and imprison those who resist. They also discuss Beijing's efforts to control other nations, including Japan. However, as Dr. E.J. Antoni notes in his most recent Fox Business article, “once you account for employment rates, the labor market still has not recovered to pre-pandemic levels. The labor force participation rate and employment-to-population ratio have both remained stubbornly low, resulting in about 2.6 million fewer people working today, compared to pre-pandemic rates.” You can read Dr. Antoni's article at: https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/monthly-jobs-report-still-reliable-last-domino-fall 3:30pm- On Tuesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued new guidance for service industry employees reporting tip money—which will include employers monitoring the annual tip revenue of its servers.  3:45pm- Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) introduced H.R. 185—a bill that would eliminate the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) COVID-19 vaccine mandate for international travelers to the United States. Massie notes that “the rest of the world” has dropped the mandate.  3:55- In an opinion editorial featured in the New York Times, Christopher Caldwell argues that the war between Russia and Ukraine has devolved into “a World War I-style battle of attrition.” 4:05pm- Disney has removed an episode of The Simpsons—“One Angry Lisa” which aired in October 2022—from its streaming service, Disney+, due to a joke about forced labor in China. Meanwhile, Disney recently released an episode of The Proud Family” where characters explain that America was built on slavery. So, isn't it hypocritical to shield the Chinese Communist Party from criticisms over its active embrace of slavery? In 2020, Disney filmed Mulan in China's Xinjiang province where Uighur Muslims are forced to work in internment camps.  4:25pm- Yesterday, Rich played audio of Mama Zeoli witnessing the Chinese spy balloon being shot out of the sky! Due to popular demand, we have decided to play it again...  4:40pm- President Joe Biden is expected to use his State of the Union platform to tout the U.S. economy—but purchasing power has been drastically harmed due to out-of-control inflation, which was exacerbated by spending bills signed into law by Biden. Since Biden became President, prices have risen by 14% and family purchasing power has decreased by an estimated $7,400.  4:45pm- While appearing on The View, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked why, according to polling, fewer people want Joe Biden to be president in 2024 than Donald Trump. 4:50pm- On Monday night, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) delivered a preemptive critique of President Joe Biden's State of the Union Address. McCarthy addressed the national deficit—explaining that, if nothing changes, “in the next 10 years we will spend over $8 trillion just on interest.” 5:00pm- Dr. Wilfred Reilly—Professor of Political Science at Kentucky State University & Author of “Taboo: 10 Facts You Can't Talk About”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Disney's cartoon series, “The Proud Family”, explaining to children that America was built on slavery and that the country was founded on white supremacy. Citing economic date, Dr. Reilly refutes the narrative that the south "built" America and explains that the false narrative mirrors theories espoused by southern confederates prior to the Civil War. So, why is Disney embracing this historically inaccurate theory in 2023—and pushing it on children? 5:35pm- According to a report from Daniel Chaitin of The Daily Wire, investigators are “zeroing in” on a Joe Biden aide who may have links to Hunter Biden and classified documents that were ultimately sent to the president's University of Pennsylvania office.  5:50pm- Movie Mystery Clip! + Zeoli teases the 6pm hour with a hilarious proclamation… 6:05pm- A piece featured in The New York Times documents Kamala Harris' numerous struggles as Vice President. The authors write, “[e]ven some Democrats whom her own advisers referred reporters to for supportive quotes confided privately that they had lost hope in her.” Could Harris be booted from Biden's ticket in 2024?  6:35pm- Kamala Harris Montage: all the goofy, nonsensical things she has said since becoming Vice President of the United States. 6:50pm- Rich has too much show material, but not enough time to get to it all...

The Communist regime in China has mandated forced live organ harvesting of hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, Tibetan Buddhists, Uighur Muslims and House Christians. Their organs are sold for large profit and their bodies are burned to remove the evidence. Hundreds of thousands of others have been illegally detained and sent to labor camps.Mitchell seeks to increase the world's awareness so we can rid the world of this atrocity. Moreover Mitchell wants people to stand in support of upholding the dignity of Falun Gong and become deeply aware about this new form of evil against this innocent group of people and others.; that will soon leave the worlds' people numb, soul stirred and shocked that this has been going on for the last 18+ years and continues to this day. Mitchell asks you for your awareness and support and nothing more! He stands on The principle that To fail to support the Good and To fail to expose the Evil in this world is Unacceptable. Thus, we as human beings must have the courage to not remain silent, but to step forward and do what is Right and to make those places where evil is occurring the center of our attention.

This is the most foundational step to living our soul life. From there, we see how the understanding that we are souls redefines how we think about human rights, and we'll see this with the genocide against Uighur Muslims in China and a recent Supreme Court case regarding child slavery in foreign cocoa plantations. Carlos Martinez is an indispensable source for a serious understanding of China's rise economically, geopolitically and culturally, which is taking place much to the consternation of Western ideologues. On this episode of Solid Ground, we attempt to penetrate beyond the miasma of Sinophobia that has been ramped by Trump in particular, but also across the West in general - this despite the fact Beijing's success in bridging divisions across the Global South and beyond under the rubric of their Belt and Road Initiative stands at odds with the crisis of nationalism that has beset the US and Europe as the most grievous symptom of the crisis of Western free market capitalism, for which there is no end in sight. We discuss the controversy surrounding the Uighur Muslim minority in Xinjiang, the unrest that's been taken place in Hong Kong and the West's role in fanning the flames there, and also about Chinese ability to square the circle of a Communist state and government running a capitalist economy. You can find Carlos Martinez on Twitter @agent_0f_change. His website is also worth visiting at www.invent-the-future.org, as is the initiative he and others are currently engaged in to counter the welter of anti-China propaganda that is now common in Western capitals. Disney's "Mulan" remake is facing fresh boycott calls after it emerged some of the blockbuster's scenes were filmed in China's Xinjiang, where widespread rights abuses against the region's Uighur Muslim population have been widely documented. The latest furore exploded as soon as the end credits rolled after the movie began showing on the Disney+ streaming platform last week.Viewers spotted that Disney included "special thanks" to eight government entities in Xinjiang -- including the public security bureau in Turpan, a city in eastern Xinjiang where multiple internment camps have been documented. In this episode of our podcast, we examine how the live-action remake not only sidestepped human rights abuses in Xinjiang and cast a lead who later expressed support for Hong Kong's police, but also remolds the legend of Hua Mulan to suit the propaganda and historical narratives of the Chinese Communist Party. Each week I interview different guests about the topics they're most passionate about. This week I wanted to focus my monologue on something I believe deserves a lot of attention and discussion. China continues to build a virtual, cyber wall between their citizens and critics in the outside world. The Chinese Communist Party is taking its online censorship to a new extreme by blocking its people from playing Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Many players have taken to Animal Crossing to continue the Hong Kong protests. The communist regime has noticed an authority vacuum in online multiplayer games, which enables people to freely socialize without monitoring. So new laws are being made.One-player online games will also be subject to surveillance, as a new real-name mechanism is going to be implemented in China. Also, the new law will not allow for zombies and plagues, map editing, roleplaying, as well as organizing a union in gamesListen to my weekly monologue and let me know what you think about China and the cyber wall they are creating. Monologue Research Links:China to ban online gaming, chatting with foreigners outside Great FirewallChina bans sale of Animal Crossing: New Horizons after it becomes a haven for Hong Kong protestersWhy Hong Kong is protesting: Their five demands listedInside Chinese camps thought to be detaining a million Muslim UighursThe Wuhan coronavirus has hit Xinjiang, where China has imprisoned at least 1 million Uighur Muslims.
