What's better than a mobster classic told by three generations of great comedians? Trying to follow this piecemeal ADD train of random quotes as we chug our way over to New York (aka Los Angeles) for Eddie Murphy's action-comedy cult classic, “Harlem Nights” (1989), of course. In this critically panned, fan-adored, Gen X fever dream, Richard Pryor plays club owner and “numbers” boss “Sugar Ray” (yes, seriously) who is contending with the scheming likes of disgruntled gangster “Bugsy Calhoune” (no, we're not kidding) played by the late, great Michael Lerner. Bugsy is not-so-silently fuming over the classic black vs white slight of being second to a highly successful black man, when he turns to corrupt cop “Phil Cantone” (Danny Aiello) to exact a particularly insidious form of street “justice” as he attempts to shut Sugar Ray's down. The film leans heavily on the comedic prowess of not only Pryor, Murphy (“Quick”), and Redd Foxx (“Bennie Wilson”) but also that of Della Reese (“Vera”), and Arsenio Hall (“Crying Man”) among others to create a romping good time filled with gags, jabs, and fun. Join our krewe as we discuss the importance of films like “Harlem Nights” in establishing a cultural benchmark for the “Ava DuVernay” and “Hobbs” tests, the generational translation(s) that are required to enjoy such films, and just the general fun of quoting some of the film's most iconic lines like “Kiss my entire ass”, or one of the 133 times the cast drops the F-bomb. How did Hannah feel about this 80s classic? Does Matt finally find his voice? Will Terry and Garrett just recite the entire movie back to each other? You'll need to listen to find out! Just bring your ass and check out “Harlem Nights” already and don't forget to hit us up on socials and/or rate, review, and subscribe! It's time to saddle up and schlep out west. Although, with some of the modern choices in this noodle kugel-western you could probably strap on your seat belts. This week we're rolling our 3CG wagon train out to the wild west with Mel Brooks' 1974 classic, "Blazing Saddles". This movie has a lot to say about racism, sexism, and fill-in-the-blank-ism, in a way that is sure to make you laugh, cringe, maybe even re-evaluate some of your own biases, and then cringe again. This raunchy comedy follows Bart (Cleavon Little), a black railroad worker who becomes the unlikely sheriff and hero of a racist western town. With the help of his partner Jim (Gene Wilder), Bart sets out to bring some justice, enlightenment and laughs to a town filled with bigoted buffoons. Brooks' use of crude humor and outrageous antics both leave you in stitches and shine some much-needed light on the prejudices that unfortunately still exist today in a way that doesn't feel like Mongo's clobbering you over the head. Join our own gang of misfits as we explore the film's cultural significance and the behind-the-scenes drama that made “Blazing Saddles” a comedy classic. Will Terry refrain from inappropriate comments? Did Matt feel like he was watching something he shouldn't? What GenX hill is Garrett ready to die on? And how will our resident progressive, Hannah, just flat-out ruin the film for everyone involved? Come along for the ADD wagon ride to hear our Krewe's unique perspectives on the film's themes of race, identity, and the power of humor in broaching sensitive subjects. One thing's for sure: this episode is a wild ride. So, grab your cowboy hats and get ready for a rootin' tootin' (emphasis on tootin') good time as we explore the hilarity and social commentary that only a Mel Brooks comedy can provide. Oy! Don't forget to follow us wherever you get your pods and join us, podnuh! TW: There are heavy and pointed discussions of suicide and ideation. For those of you struggling with those thoughts, we suggest skipping this, or parts of this episode. If you or someone you know needs help, please dial 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline to speak with someone. Help is available. You're never alone. There's no need to walk in the dark. . . . Buckle up, 3CG fans, because this week we're diving back into the apex of teen drama and angst with the OG 1955 flick, "Rebel Without a Cause". Another golden Hollywood oldie from our own golden-haired Hollywood old soul. It becomes increasingly apparent how this movie set the (sound)stage for so many franchises to come as Hannah and the boys delve into the movie that made James Dean an icon and makes us wonder why they were called the silent generation because they sure made a lot of noise. James Dean stars as Jim Stark, a misunderstood teen who despite his best intentions, always ends up in trouble. Caught in the middle of his parents' strained relationship and constantly searching to find a loving group of his own, Jim turns to an unlikely crew of characters, played by Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, and Ed Platt, to supplement the missing affections of his milquetoast, middle-class family. Spoiler alert: it doesn't end well. Join the krewe as we explore the darkest inventions wrought by teenage angst, the eternal quest for acceptance, and the real behind-the-scenes drama that made “Rebel Without a Cause” a classic. How often does Terry mention James Dean's flawless skin? How uncomfortable will Matt get? Will Garrett offer any insight that doesn't make Hannah roll her eyes? Well, 3CG-ers, this is episode is one for the record books. Sticking around in the 80s which means you probably already guessed this is another of Garrett's picks. We were in a time crunch recording this one so we kept the ADD train on the tracks for what is probably our speediest episode to date. In his directorial debut, Chris Columbus is at the helm of this Elizabeth Shue lead comedy. Elizabeth plays Chris who has to venture into the big city to save her friend Brenda (Penelope Ann Miller) with her two charges, Brad and Sara, (Keith Coogan and Maia Brewton), and Brad's best friend Daryl played by the talented Anthony Rapp. How the heck could a family-friendly comedy romp through the big city have problems? Oh you know we will find a way to make you uncomfortable. What's Matt's reaction to him being filtered out of the last episode as background noise? How often do Terry's bowels make themselves known during this episode? How is it possible Garrett brought this episode in as quickly as he did? How does Hannah pull off the greatest titular quip of all time? You'll have to listen to find out. So technically nobody picked this episode, although Hannah compiled this list so we are going to give her credit, or is that blame? I guess it depends on which 3CG-er you side with. Even though much to Garrett's dismay, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation didn't make the cut this month, we manage to lampoon this “National Treasure” or at least some of us do. Add another Michael Curtiz flick to the pod, the first being Casablanca, with this 1954 musical starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen. Did we say musical? Sorry Matt! At least this one is in color, which is about the only color White Christmas offers. We are going to warn you now this show was recorded post-holiday party, so it starts off the rails and stays there. There's plenty of discussion about the movie, but there is an equal amount of bizarre rambling side banter that starts with the topic at hand but somehow never seems to make a point in the end. Is the episode that Terry finally pushes the limit with his over the top outdated antics? Did Matt finally love a musical? Is Hannah the only one that did any research post viewing? What did Garrett do more, derail or steer the show back on track? You'll have to listen to find out. Show notes/CW This episode contains mentions: outdated language, eating disorders, violence against women, sex work, and sexual assault.
Well, 3CG-ers, that foray into watching films in color was short-lived. We're going back to black (and white) with a 1941 classic, and we'll give you one guess as to who picked this one. Our old-soul-black-and-white-morality-raised-on-the-classics millennial, Hannah, picked our second movie for November and what is arguably one of the greatest films ever made, “Citizen Kane”. Orson Welles wrote, directed, and starred in this classic 2-hour epic that much like “Halloween”, breathed a gasp of fresh air into modern-day cinema. Funnily enough, it took us about 2-hours to discuss this masterpiece, but don't worry, unlike certain past episodes (“They Live” looking at you), we actually discuss the film. We know you guys like it when we steer away from political discussions and talk about the movie, but when the flashback-laden narrative shows how an aging publishing tycoon lived his life through corruption and political intrigue, it's hard not to steer into the present, and draw direct correlations to current and historical figures. You'll want to skip this episode if you are not a fan of the G&H show as the two of them discuss the beauty of this film in great detail, while the rest of the boys struggle to keep up. Poor Matt always gets a little foggy when things are in black and white, and Terry, coming off a long drive from an overnight set, didn't have enough C-4 in his system to fuel his smart-ass, inappropriate remarks. Is this the episode with Terry's lowest word count? Will Matt ever learn to appreciate black-and-white films? What did Garrett say to Hannah that had her refuse to speak? Will she ever forgive him? You'll have to listen to find out. Show notes/CW This episode contains/mentions the following: Suicide, Child abuse, Sexual assault, Violence against women, and Sex work. Yes, we know, technically spooky season is over (except in our hearts, where it's all year long), but this is Matt's first pick to make it into the show, so we cut him some slack. Clearly falling for the master director John Carpenter's style in "They Live," Matt takes us back to 1978 and to arguably the birth of the modern-day slasher film with his SpOoOkY revenge pick, "Halloween". In a 3CG-first, none of the krewe had even seen this cult classic before. However, the premise and genre sparked a fascinating internal "will he or won't he" war, where none of us could decide if Terry would even watch, let alone like, the film. Never fear though Terry fans, once the C-4 (pls sponsor us) kicked in he was fully engaged and running us off the rails with his usual quips, mildly distasteful stories, and wry observations. Other 3CG-firsts feature Matt actually saying more than three words, and Hannah not reading a doctoral thesis (although she does blow Garrett's hamsters off the wheel when explaining the fraught symbolism and patriarchal implications of the film). So 3CG-ers, did Terry actually watch the film? Was Matt's first movie panned, forever scarring him, and discouraging any future picks? What does Garrett think about Michael Myers driving a car? And how does our resident California girl reference a Texas Toothpick? You'll have to listen to find out. While we would like this episode to be like Meg Foster's piercing blue eyes and cut straight to the point, it's more like that 6-minute fight scene between ‘Rowdy' Roddy Piper and America's favorite President, Keith David. We may only discuss the actual movie “They Live” (1988) for about 6 minutes of this 90+ minute podcast, but like the film, the tangents we stray off onto are a teaser for what's to come. Much like we masquerade as an actual movie podcast, “They Live” is a biting, satirical look at capitalism and greed masquerading as a B-Movie horror flick. Our krewe touches (and we really mean touches as the topic is only discussed for about 36 seconds) on the fact that the movie still carries a great deal of relevance for today's world. Perhaps it's the krewe's overall thoughts on the slow pacing of the film that makes this episode anything but slow-paced, but as we ramble our way through this ep we see the familiar hallmarks of a 3CG production: Terry tries to goad Hannah into a reaction with his horribly outdated jokes and language, Matthew extols the virtues of color film, Hannah reads us another dissertation, and Garrett's brain hamsters pass out from exhaustion. So, business as usual. Will Terry ever learn we don't buy his heel act? Will Matthew be able to shake his turn as the baby face (or even speak more than two sentences)? Does Garrett consider the ultimate remake one that stars the people's elbow? Is Hannah the real ‘Rowdy' one of the krewe? Did we miss out on making several wrestling-themed puns during the recording? You'll have to listen to find out! Show notes/CW: This episode contains/mentions the following: derogatory language, outdated terms, toxic masculinity/hyper-masculinity, guns, and violence. What happens when Garret doesn't watch the time and the ADD train leaves the track and any semblance of structure behind? You get a tangentially related take on the 1932 Horror classic, Freaks, that's longer than the movie itself. Since MGM freaked out, pun intended, over Browning's original 90-minute cut, the final available film is a short but not-so-sweet, must-watch that clocks in at just over an hour. However, the lasting reverberations created by the intended social commentaries can be felt even today in the subsequent generations of cult classics, for better or worse. And how does the krewe feel about it? Well, the boys struggled to update their lexicon with this one, never quite knowing how to reference some of the events or characters of the movie respectfully. Luckily, they had some 9-month pregnant pauses and sharp side-eyes to tell them where the line was. All in all, there were some definite strong feelings and zany takes on the movie, sprinkled liberally with ADD shenanigans and naked roommate stories for good measure. And what outdated term does Terry need the Woke PoliceTM to help update? Does he give us a curveball to end all curveballs about where his heart really is? Does Matthew (or is it Mateo Giuseppe?) ever stick up for himself? We hope not, that's never ended well for the characters in his beloved mob dramas (RIP Spider). The krewe discusses the myriad pitfalls of gender and sexuality, Matthew tries to keep up his good Catholic boy facade, Terry fusses over Jasper, Hannah enlightens the krewe about the origins of the Rainbow Flag, and Garrett just tries to keep the show moving. There may be some problems with the delivery, but there's a little something for everyone to love in this 1975 banger. The krewe even kicks around the idea of a Priscilla-RHPS double feature with dress-up. And while there was a bit of a power struggle over who gets to bring Dr. Frank-N-Furter back to life (what self-respecting actor wouldn't want to try their hand at the inimitable Tim Curry?), there's nothing but glam and love for this film, despite Matthew's protestations. Damnit, Janet. Just get into it already. Show Notes: This episode contains mentions the following: divorce, sexual assault, transphobia, TERFs, homophobia, consent issues, violence, slut shaming, elder abuse, and child molestation. Yet another Golden Age Hollywood classic but this time from the romantic mind of Terry J. Nelson. Tune in as the boys bemoan the woes of love and being the better person while Hannah tries to bring the movie into a modern context with discussion points and woke buzzwords galore. The krewe broaches the messy topic of toxic masculinity and the ADD train is in full force going a little off the rails but doing their best to make sure they hit all the stations. Terry breaks out his best Humphrey Bogart impression, Matt throws in his two cents about the ending, Garrett muses on his own growth, and Hannah goes on a tangent about the historical context of Sam, the piano player. While there may have been a few heavy-handed archetypes and a semi-controversial ending, this star-studded cast and their subtle performances only age better as time goes by (racism and sexism excluded, of course). The krewe may not have had any gin on hand, but the toasts and roasts of this top 100 movie will have you saying, “here's looking at you, kid.” Show notes: This episode contains mentions the following: drinking, smoking, sexual assault, domestic violence, pedophilia, sexism, racism, gambling, and gun violence. This week's pick is another Golden Age Hollywood classic from our own golden-haired, Hollywood girl herself. Tune in as Hannah tests the theory of if Gentlemen [really do] Prefer Blondes or if it's all just ticklish business any way you look at it. While the boys may have been enamored with the bombshell duo of Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe, Hannah definitely had some tricks up her sleeve with some of those musical numbers. Will the boys finally learn to do pre-show research? So far only our resident historian, Garrett, has taken up that mantle as he delves into the basis for the movie: the 1949 stage production by the same name. And while there may have been some initial grumblings, this Howard Hawk's classic never fails to disappoint with some iconic numbers and bewitching performances by just two [legendary] girls from Little Rock. No one will ever mistake our krewe for being gentlemen, but we know at least a couple who may indeed prefer blondes. Show notes: This episode contains mentions of the following; Drinking, Smoking, Sexual Assault, Necrophilia, and Drugs/Date-Rape
Join us this week as we discuss the 1954 Horror/Sci-Fi classic Them! If you are following along at home make sure you include 1954 and the ! in Them! lest you end up researching Van Morrison or the Amazon series. No, this good old slice of Americana stars James Whitmore (The Shawshank Redemption), James Arness, (Gunsmoke), and Joan Weldon. Another one of Hannah's picks, which we swear are totally random, this episode starts out talking about Louis CK and fellatio and it's pretty much all downhill from there. Garrett, Hannah, and Terry drank so much C4 during the course of this episode that Matthew's heart exploded from residual caffeine. Show notes: This episode contains mentions of the following; Violence, PTSD, Firearms, Incest, Catcalling, Marijuana, and Drug Use.
Join us for another episode where we discuss the 1974 Martin Scorsese film "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" starring Kris Kristofferson and Ellen Burstyn. If this episode seems a little heavy on Hannah and Garrett's side it's probably because Terry forgot how to use a microphone and Matthew forgot he had one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Enjoy this episode and stay tuned next month for two brand new movies that are revealed at the end of this episode. Spoiler alert: We are pretty sure Hannah rigged this one as our movies for next month go back... like way back... Who knew a Millenial would have such an old soul? Show notes: This episode contains several discussions about domestic violence, and alcoholism, and has a brief mention of suicide.
We are back, baby! We are bringing you an all-new Season of Three Cissies and A Girl where we ruin your favorite classic movies. Youngblood is stepping in for Rob since his schedule training America's future MMA badasses makes it difficult for him to join us and Terry is still... Terry. Join us this week for the pre-code 1934 classic The Thin Man where we discuss getting into Myrna Loy's drawers. Besides Myrna Loy, the W. S. Van Dyke directed mystery also stars William Powell and the scene-stealing wire-haired fox terrier Skippy as Asta. Based on the 1934 novel of the same name by Dashiell Hammett, Powel, plays Nick, a retired private detective, with Loy as his wife, Nora Charles, a wealthy heiress. Together, the couple enjoys copious drinking, flirtatious banter, and solves a murder or two. *Show Notes: This episode discusses domestic violence, which may be uncomfortable for some listeners. . Rob has a saying, "Ain't no kink-shaming here at 3CG" which leads us to Hannah's pick for Pride Month, Kinky Boots. Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Joel Edgerton this 2005 comedy about a UK shoemaker that gets into the business of making boots for Drag Queens can't be too problematic right? We didn't censor Terry on this one and Garrett and his shoe fetish find his voice. It's possible our next episode might be a little late due to some scheduling issues with the cast but stay tuned after this one as we finish off Pride Month with our next two picks. Remember the episode featuring Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy where Rob didn't let anyone get a word in? Well, Terry pays him back tenfold today as our first podcast in celebration of Pride Month we look at Terry's favorite movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert starring Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Terence Stamp. It's "Bizzaro World" as even Hannah even speaks more than Garrett in this episode. You'll definitely want to hear the self-indulgent recasting in this one. Well, it's Hannah "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" Kaufman's movie pick this week so we are heading back to 1966 and the George Axelrod film, Lord Love a Duck, starring Roddy McDowall and Tuesday Weld alongside Ruth Gordon and Harvey Korman. Have you watched the film? If so you will probably understand why we go completely off the rails this week. It's so bad that not even Garrett can get the train back on the tracks. Terry is so distraught about the film that he has five pages of notes and Robin is the only cast member that isn't censored this week. That's right, we even find a reason to throw some annoying sound effects over something Hannah said. You know she's going to love that. Be sure to follow us on our socials, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and send all questions, comments, and vitriol to: 3cissiesandagirl@gmail.com
In this episode, the 3CG gang discusses the 2004 film Without A Paddle starring Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, and Dax Shepard with a very special appearance by Rob's all-time favorite man-crush Burt Reynolds. Terry only has to be censored once during this episode but it's a long censor, Garrett drops his connections to Ethan Suplee, and Abraham Benrubi, because of course, he does, and Hannah threatens actual violence against a member of the 3CG team. Be sure to follow us on our socials, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and send all questions, comments, and vitriol to: 3cissiesandagirl@gmail.com
Are we back to John Cusack already? We went from "Say Anything" to the 1986 "Savage" Steve Holland film "One Crazy Summer". There's some debate over just how hot Demi Moore is, and spoiler alert, only one of the four of us are in the "not" category. Hannah suggests a way to censor some of Terry's more problematic slips with some creative sound effects. It was either that or another "trigger warning" and that would have probably made Rob's head explode. Garrett is the only one with a lengthy echo chamber this week. You can be the judge if it's lengthy because Garrett is long-winded AF, and likes to hear himself talk or if it would have only been 2 minutes long if not for the 3CGADD gang's constant interruptions. What happens when we talk about the 1989 Cameron Crowe classic Say Anything and 1/2 of the group doesn't understand the plot? (Looking at you, Hannah and Terry) You get a more scattershot ADD episode than usual, and for this bunch that is really saying something, but clocking in at almost 2 hours should tell you something. Rob is a little short on quotes this week but the gang still manages to string together a few memorable moments from John Cusack, Ione Skye, John Mahoney, and Lili Taylor who turns in a memorable performance as Corey. Garrett finally gives us that long-awaited Matthew McConaughey meet cute while our resident stray puppy skipped an episode to go mentor some youth or something. Hannah says that Say Anything without John Mahoney is Pretty In Pink, what's 3CG without Matthew? You are about to find out. Hint: Pretty much the same, we still roast him and you can't hear him defend himself.
Rob has been actively trying to make Hannah's head explode with his movie picks and hasn't been able to do it just yet. Will one of his all-time favorite movies, the 2004 insta-classic, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy do the trick? Or will it be Terry that is offended by some "low hanging fruit"? Garrett postpones his Matthew McConaughey meet cute this week to instead tell his meet cute with Adam McKay and how the term "Adam McKayed" entered his acting lexicon. One thing is for sure when a movie has Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell freestyling Rob will have plenty of quotes. If we are being honest... We pretty much only talk in quotes during this episode.
We continue our month of fools with Hannah's pick for April, the 1963 classic, The Pink Panther starring David Niven,Peter Sellers, Robert Wagner, and Capucine. There have to be all kinds of problems with this 1963 film right? I mean that is why Hannah picked this one right? Other than maybe trying to bestow a little culture on Garrett, Terry, and Rob, why else would she? Spoiler alert: They are still not cultured, and may have even hated on the film just a little but could all agree that they have a soft spot for Claudia Cardinale and Fran Jeffries. Robin has quite possibly the most "woke" recasting of this film, Terry falls asleep during Garrett's history of comedy lesson, and our intern Matthew finds himself on the defensive after Hannah's intro. We are closing in on our twelfth episode which is eleven longer than anyone expected. Start taking bets now on how much further we make it.
This week the tcaag gang take a leap back to the middle of The Cold War and the 1985 John Landis directed Spies Like Us starring Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd. The gang discusses the important things about the movie like what it's like to write a scene where your best friend makes out with your real-life wife or how meta Ronald Reagan's appearance is in the film. We even work in a Disney Channel reference that doesn't involve Yoda but we mention the little green guy too. Who would everyone recast if they were in charge of casting a reboot? Listen and find out on this episode of 3 Cissies & a Girl!
A lot of people call the tcaag gang fools but this is no joke. For April we are kicking off our month of fools in a celebration of farcical comedies with Terry's pick, the king of all inept police comedies, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! Written by Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Pat Proft and directed by David Zucker, the movie stars Leslie Nielsen, Priscilla Presley, Ricardo Montalban, and George Kennedy. Don't worry Garrett makes mention of "he who should not be named" as one of the film's other stars and some of the more surreal moments of his appearance on-screen. Terry was absent for this episode so Rob was on guard to singularly defend against what was sure to be an all-out attack on a beloved comedy classic by the "woke police". There has to be all kind of problems with this movie right? Surely Hannah's head exploded from all the dated jokes and slapstick. Only a listen will tell, oh, and don't call her Shirley. We know... we know... that quote is from Airplane but without Dr. Rumack is there a Lt. Frank Drebin?
In a departure from their usual lighthearted fare, the boys and Hannah tackle our final movie for Women's History Month, the 1993 film The Piano. The film stars Holly Hunter,Harvey Keitel,Sam Neill, and in her Oscar-winning debut Anna Paquin. This a heavy film with some serious subject matter so we have included a warning at the beginning of the episode in case anyone wants to skip this one and head on to our less serious films. Sidebar Nation: We now all have veto power over Terry's film choices.
It's no secret that as GenXers the original Ghostbusters hold a special place in the hearts of the boys so they were more than a little salty when Hannah's pick for International Women's History Month was the 2016 reboot starring Melissa McCarthy,Kristen Wiig,Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. Will the boys end up slimed over their opinion or did they come around to enjoy the reboot? Tune in to find out.
We continue our salute to International Women's Month with our take on the 2018 film Ocean's 8. Starring these 8 super talented ladies, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Awkwafina & Sarah Paulson. Find out Garrett's connection to the film, if Terry actually watched the movie this week, Robin's "Woman of the Week" and Hannah drops some science knowledge in our "Echo Chamber"
Hannah and the boys kick off International Women's History Month with Rob's pick for a film with a strong female lead and written and or directed by a female with the 2017 comic book film Wonder Woman. Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Everyone's crush on Gal is solidified and how in the good hell do the boys find another way to mix Matthew McConaughey into the conversation... AGAIN. Rob drinks and turns this into a VERY extended episode of TCAAG.
Hannah and The Boys discuss the 1987 Rob Reiner classic The Princess Bride starring Cary Elwes Mandy Patinkin, and Robin Wright. Has Terry watched recently? It was hard to tell but give it a listen to find out which one of us thinks that Westley and Buttercup are a snooze fest.
Hannah and the boys discuss the 1987 romantic comedy Can't Buy Me Love starring Patrick Dempsey, and the late Amanda Peterson. Somehow the boys once again work Matthew McConaughey into the conversation and Terry still can't seem to get a "woke" term right.
Hannah and the guys discuss the 2006 Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker film Failure to Launch. When Hannah schools the boys on an outdated term the GenXr's retreat to their safe space.
The guys and Hannah discuss the 1984 Romantic Comedy Romancing The Stone starring Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas and Garrett let's loose on Seth McFarlane in the very first episode of 3 Cissies and a Girl.
