Your next dollar is not hiding in a new ad campaign. It is hiding inside the business you already built. In this episode, Jimmy Nicholas and Dr. Dustin Burleson pick up where Episode 65 left off. Once you have decided what stays in your business based on principle, the next question is how to make what stays more efficient. The answer: 15 to 30 percent of additional revenue is usually already there, with no new customer required. They walk through five profit levers you can pull this month. LEVER 1 — Database Reactivation Rekindling a relationship costs a fraction of buying a new one. A short, personal "are you still interested" message can restart conversations that ad spend cannot touch. Dustin shares why customers reactivate as far out as 24 months, a pattern visible in public filings from a large direct-to-consumer brand, and why "they are not coming back" is almost always an excuse. The deeper point: reactivated buyers often want to buy differently, so listen to what they are actually asking for. LEVER 2 — Missed Calls and Speed to Lead Almost no one leaves a voicemail anymore, so a missed call is usually a lost sale. The hosts cover AI receptionists, instant text-back, and after-hours coverage, with client examples discussed in the episode including a multi-location group that recovered tens of thousands in a single month from previously ignored missed calls. The principle stays simple: answer the phone, and answer it like a human whenever you can. LEVER 3 — No-Shows and Schedule Gaps You often do not have a lead problem. You have a scheduling problem. Dustin explains how opening hours competitors do not offer, and staggering the team, turned slow days into the busiest ones. Jimmy contrasts that with a real customer experience of a gate coming down at lunch, and how availability alone can win the business. LEVER 4 — Pricing and Case Acceptance Competing on price alone is fragile. Offering good, better, and best tiers reveals price elasticity you did not know you had. The hosts also cover how AI can audit billing and coding to surface revenue that was being left on the table. LEVER 5 — Referral Systems People do not refer good-enough service. Give them an experience worth talking about, and know exactly who your referral sources are. The episode covers why most referrals go untracked, and what changes the moment you start tracking them. The throughline: AI now does in minutes what used to take data scientists and months. The operators who win ask a better question of the customers they already have. Pick one lever. Whichever one makes you lose a little sleep is probably the one to start with. How Great Were France 1994, the team nthat never reached USA '94How can a team featuring Eric Cantona, Jean-Pierre Papin, David Ginola, Didier Deschamps, Marcel Desailly and Laurent Blanc fail to qualify for a World Cup?In this special episode of By Far The Greatest Team, Graham and Jamie are joined by author James Bennett, whose fascinating book No Shows explores some of football's greatest qualification failures. Together, they put Gérard Houllier's France of 1992–93 under the Greatness Index microscope and investigate one of international football's most astonishing collapses.France appeared destined for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. With a squad packed with world-class talent and needing only a single point from their final two qualifiers against Israel and Bulgaria, qualification looked certain. Instead, two dramatic defeats produced one of football's most infamous disasters and left a generation of French stars watching USA '94 from home. The episode explores the rise and fall of Houllier's France, the controversial scapegoating of David Ginola following his famous cross against Bulgaria, the leadership of Cantona and Papin, and whether this glamorous but fragile side was ultimately a necessary stepping stone towards France's World Cup triumph in 1998.Was this one of football's greatest qualification failures? Did France 1993 have to fail for France 1998 to succeed? And can a team achieve greatness despite never reaching the tournament they seemed destined to play in?Takeaways Why France were overwhelming favourites to qualify for USA '94 The rise of Gérard Houllier's talented but fragile French side The dramatic defeats to Israel and Bulgaria that changed football history David Ginola's infamous cross and the debate over blame and scapegoating Eric Cantona's international career and the World Cup he never played in How the failure shaped the future World Cup-winning France team Insights from James Bennett's book No Shows Whether France 1992–93 deserve a place among football's great "what if?" teams If you enjoy football history, forgotten stories, great teams, tragic collapses and lively debate, subscribe to By Far The Greatest Team wherever you get your podcasts.Follow, rate and review the show to help more football fans discover the greatest stories from the history of the game.#France1993 #France94 #DavidGinola #EricCantona #JeanPierrePapin #GerardHoullier #WorldCup1994 #USA94 #FootballHistory #ByFarTheGreatestTeam #NoShows #JamesBennett #InternationalFootball #FranceNationalTeam #GreatnessIndexIf you enjoy these podcasts, please don't forget to subscribe and give us a rating and also tell everyone about them!

What does it really take to turn empty appointment slots into a high-performing, fully utilized schedule—and keep it that way?In this episode, Amanda sits down with three leaders from MLK Community Healthcare, a hospital-based primary care system in South Los Angeles. Five months after they graduated from the DPI™ Collaborative, they share how they didn't just improve access—they fundamentally transformed how their system meets the demand of their patient community. The results speak for themselves: cycle times reduced by 31% (from 73 to 50 minutes), productivity increased by 16%, No-Shows dropped from 22% to 15%, and chart completion soared from 53% to 88%. But the real story? Capacity utilization—starting at 66% and climbing as high as 96%—unlocking access without adding more resources. Now, five months post-graduation, they're sustaining those gains and continuing to build. If you're still struggling with access issues despite having open appointments, this episode will challenge how you think about capacity—and what's truly possible.Host: Amanda LaramieGuests: Chad Vargas, Nyree Ramos, & Julie Castillo Book shoutouts in this episode: Mastering Leadership, the Coleman Way High Impact Management Program™ by Melissa Stratman. Episode 300 hits on a day that feels bigger than a calendar date. I'm looking back at six years of the Share the Struggle Podcast, 300 consecutive weeks with no hiatus, no missed shows, and no hiding from the messy parts of building a life. If you've ever felt stuck, tired, or unsure, the core idea is the one that keeps me moving: everybody struggles, but you decide whether you go through it or grow through it. That choice shows up in your habits, your relationships, and the future you're quietly recording every day. Then the show turns into a real-time snapshot of U.S. history and world security. I'm recording as a major Iran deadline approaches, reacting as the news breaks about a pause in bombing, a ceasefire agreement, and the Strait of Hormuz reopening. I share why leadership, negotiation and national security decisions hit differently when you think about your kids and what kind of world they inherit. From there, I walk you through one of the most intense stories I've covered: the rescue of a downed U.S. weapons systems officer inside Iran. We break down the timeline from survival and beacon detection to planning, deception, insertion, firefights and extraction, including the scale of the operation and the “no American left behind” promise in action. The emotional punch lands when the mission lines up with Easter weekend and faith: hidden on Good Friday, rescued on Easter Sunday, and the words that cut through it all, “God is good.” If this episode moves you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people who are struggling can find it.If you found value in today's show please return the favor and leave a positive review and share it with someone important to you! https://www.sharethestrugglepodcast.com/reviews/new/Find all you need to know about the show https://www.sharethestrugglepodcast.com/Official Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100077724159859Join the 2% of Americans that Buy American and support American Together we can bring back American Manufacturing https://www.loudproudamerican.shop/Loud Proud American Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LoudproudamericanLoud Proud American Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/loud_proud_american/Loud Proud American TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@loud_proud_americanLoud Proud American YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmYQtOt6KVURuySWYQ2GWtwThank you for Supporting My American Dream!

Should hair extension stylists charge for consultations? Yes. Free consultations attract uncommitted clients, increase no-show rates, and drain hours that could be spent on revenue-generating appointments. In this episode, Ashley Diana, founder of Rich Stylist Academy and Destination Hair Extensions, walks through the exact consultation fee and deposit structure that top-earning hair extension professionals use to protect their time and filter for clients who are ready to invest. Ashley breaks down the specific pricing approach she recommends in 2026, including why a consultation deposit (typically $50 to $150 depending on your market) pre-qualifies serious clients while discouraging time-wasters. Stylists who have implemented this system inside Rich Stylist Academy report dramatically lower no-show rates and higher average ticket prices, because the clients who do book are already committed. Inside this episode, Ashley covers: The real cost of free hair extension consultations, measured in lost hours, lost revenue, and mental energy. How to set your consultation fee based on your market and service pricing. The exact language to use when introducing a consultation deposit so clients see it as professional, not off-putting. How to apply the consultation fee toward the final service to make it a zero-risk experience for committed clients. How much should a hair extension consultation cost? Most successful hair extension stylists in 2026 charge between $50 and $150 for an initial consultation, credited toward the service if the client books. Ashley explains how to find the right number for your specific market and price point. How do I stop no-shows for hair extension appointments? The single most effective strategy is requiring a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Ashley shares the step-by-step system, including how to communicate the policy, what to put on your booking page, and how to handle pushback. Will charging for consultations lose me clients? Ashley addresses this fear directly. The clients you lose by charging a consultation fee are the same clients who would have wasted your time, ghosted their appointment, or pushed back on pricing. The ones who stay are your ideal, high-value clients. Ashley Diana has coached hundreds of hair extension professionals through Rich Stylist Academy to implement business systems that increase income while reducing wasted time. Commodity Context founder Rory Johnston joins the RenMac Off-Script team to discuss escalating attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and why a prolonged disruption could remove up to 20% of global oil supply and push oil to $200. They also discuss the limits of SPR releases and U.S. shale responses, cracks forming beneath the surface in equities, why gold and defensive sectors aren't behaving like a typical risk-off environment, and how geopolitics could collide with Fed policy, inflation data, and consumer spending in the weeks ahead.

No-shows are one of those topics birth professionals talk about in private but rarely address out loud. In this episode, Dr. Robin Elise Weiss and Dr. Hillary Melchiors get into both types of no-shows that doulas actually deal with: the potential client who ghosts a consultation, and the client who goes into labor without ever picking up the phone. They share what they've done to reduce no-shows before they happen, how to respond when they do, and why extending grace doesn't mean abandoning your systems.

For the second week in a row, the New York Jets defense no-showed and asked rookie quarterback Brady Cook to overcome an insurmountable lead. https://api.spreaker.com/v2/episodes/69047377/download.mp3 Last week it was a quick 21-0 deficit against the Dolphins, and this week it was Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars who jumped out to leads of 14-0 and 31-10 just before the half. The Jags were off and running from the first snap of the game and never looked back. Lawrence led the Jags on back-to-back scoring drives with a touchdown strike to Brian Thomas Jr. on the first drive and a 15-yard scramble for a score on their second drive. The Jets would counter with a Brady Cook TD pass, the first of his career, to AD Mitchell to make it 14-7. That was as close as the Jets would get before Jacksonville ran away with it. Rookie running back Bhaysul Tuten pulled in a 16-yard TD reception to make it 21-7 before the team traded field goals to push the score to 24-10 before Jacksonville managed two more TD passes on a day in which Trevor Lawrence had five scoring strikes. On offense, the Jets just couldn’t keep up. In his first pro start, quarterback Brady Cook completed 66% of his passes, going 22 for 33 for for 176 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. The loss drops the Jets to 3-11 and moves them from 7th to 5th in their draft position for the 2026 class. The post Jets Mauled by Jags 48-20 as Defense No-Shows Again appeared first on JetNation.com - New York Jets Blog & Forum.

RUNDOWN Are Seattle sports are even fun anymore? Six hours “chewing my fingernails and losing hair.” Mitch and Scott argue about what “fun” in fandom really means, roast Matt Brash for his walk-filled chaos, and marvel at the weirdness of Seattle beating Tarik Skubal yet again. Mitch welcomes Brady Farkas (Refuse to Lose Podcast) and Joe Doyle (Over-Slot / Future Stars Series) for a fiery Mariners No-Table as Seattle heads to Detroit tied 1–1. They rave over Jorge Polanco's two-homer night off Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal and the team's resilience, then dissect Dan Wilson's bullpen management in Game 1, Bryce Miller's usage, and the decision to start George Kirby. The group debates Matt Brash's shaky late-inning trust, Julio Rodriguez's base-running and clutch turnaround, and whether the Tigers or Mariners now hold the upper hand as the ALDS resumes. Mitch welcomes Brady Henderson (ESPN Seahawks Insider) and Jacson Bevens (Cigar Thoughts) for a heated Seahawks No-Table after Seattle's gut-wrenching 38–35 loss to Tampa Bay. The trio debates how Mike Macdonald's defense—ranked among the NFL's best through two weeks—got completely schemed apart by Baker Mayfield. Mitch rips the lack of pressure from Byron Murphy and Leonard Williams, the blown coverage across the secondary, and the failure to get a stop with the game on the line. All agree: Sam Darnold looked spectacular, throwing four touchdowns and confirming his franchise-QB credentials even in defeat. CBS analyst Rick Neuheisel joins Mitch after an emotional weekend that saw his son Jerry Neuheisel call plays for UCLA in the upset win over Penn State. Rick describes watching from the CBS studio as his phone exploded with messages, reliving the moment as both a broadcaster and a dad. He shares the behind-the-scenes timeline of Jerry being handed play-calling duties, his pride in how the Bruins responded, and the joy of seeing his family's work pay off. From there, the conversation turns to the broader college-football landscape — Penn State and Texas now facing uphill climbs to the playoff, Notre Dame's renewed path, the Huskies' comeback win in Maryland, Florida's bounce-back under Billy Napier, and previewing the week ahead with Oregon–Indiana on CBS. A lot of the time, award shows can be fun, exciting, star-studded events. And sometimes...they're like this year's American Music Awards. First off, tons of the A-list nominees didn't even bother showing up. And then, for a couple of stars who did show up, things got weird onstage. Shaboozey gave his co-presenter Megan Moroney some serious side-eye that people are still talking about. After we dissect the AMAs, we have an update on Miley Cyrus. In a very revealing interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, she opens up about new music, sobriety, and the medical condition that makes singing a serious challenge. And to cap it all off, we have the latest on what Hugh Jackman's ex is saying about his “betrayal.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
