Nintendo demanda a Pocketpair por infracción de patentes en Palworld, similar a Pokémon.   Nintendo ha interpuesto una demanda contra Pocketpair, un estudio japonés conocido por desarrollar juegos independientes como Craftopia y Palworld.Flash Diario en Spotify.La acusación se centra en que Palworld, un juego de mundo abierto donde los jugadores capturan y entrenan criaturas llamadas Pals, infringe varias patentes relacionadas con la franquicia Pokémon. Nintendo alega que Palworld copia elementos específicos de Pokémon, como el diseño de algunas criaturas y las mecánicas de captura y entrenamiento. I skrivende stund har Palworld allerede 19 mio. spillere. 12 mio. på Steam, og 7 mio. på Xbox, hvor spillet også er tilgængelig via Game Pass. Det har slået den ene Steam-rekord efter den anden, og er også det mest spillede tredjepartsspil på Xbox. Men alt er ikke fryd og gammen. Palworld har nemlig vist sig at være en meget kontroversiel titel, da der er mange klare ligheder med andre spil. Mest tydeligt med Pokémon, og spillet bliver tilmed også blevet kaldt "Pokémon with guns" af flere spilkommentatorer. Det er ikke første gang at udvikleren Pocket Pair er blevet anklaget for at stjæle. Deres første spil, Craftopia, havde nemlig gameplay der mindede rigtig meget om The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nu er den altså gal igen, og denne gang med Pokémon. Anklager om plagiat flyver af sted, og Nintendo er bestemt ikke glade. Mens vestlige medier har skrevet om Palworlds succes nærmest dagligt, så har det ikke været tilfældet i hjemlandet Japan, hvor japanske kendisser angiveligt er blevet advaret mod at tale om Palworld, da det vil gøre Pokémon-selskabet vrede. So many new games, and one will even excite Lee...   Rainbow Six Siege is dropping out of the top 10, in what is probably the biggest shake up this week in the charts. Craftopia gets a raving review from Kingsman saying "you smash rocks". Valhalla is getting a short sword, and we wonder how historically accurate that is. The news has been weird this week... Can you tell?    And then this week Xbox execs had to clarify again that Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6, and all future Bethesda games are going to be Xbox exclusive, after a quote was taken out of context. Also there are rumours of a big acquisition coming at the end of September... Could it be 2K or Rockstar? CRAFTOPIA is a children's crafting competition series on HBO Max. The program in-cludes eight episodes that each run about 25 minutes long. During the short segments, young contestants display their crafting abilities while competing to win prizes. During the first round, three contestants compete in a one hour “quick craft.” During the second round, crafters complete a more challenging two-hour project. CRAFTOPIA is hosted by popular YouTube craft blogger, Lauren Riihimaki, with two regular judges and some guest judges.
