Great news just in time for St. Patrick's Day, the Irish people have totally rejected a Christophobic amendment to their Constitution that would have been the end of the Christian definition of marriage in Ireland. By the way, guess who Ireland's Prime Minister works for. . . Speaking of Klaus Schwab, with Tucker Carlson sitting in the audience the Field Marshall makes one hilarious gaffe that may explain everything. Hey, Klaus, what are you smoking? Plus, Francis the Great Divider strikes again! Our guest today is the American Aristocrat, Robbie Cavallero. There is something ineffable but unmistakable in the effect he has on people directly in his sphere of reach. He's a bit like Lord Krishna really, attracting Gopies with his sweetness. And the ardent admirers of this gentleman will notice that even the rocks melt, ever so slightly, in his presence. Robbie is a strange American archetype: The Aristocrat. He is the scion of an Italian Noble Family (his uncle was the Field Marshall for Erwin Rommel); and yet, surprisingly, his family came to America with very little - immigrants - self made. They arrived in Oakland, and within a few generations, their brilliant little child ‘Robbie' was married to the bluest of bluebloods - the “ancient régime” of Republican Californians. Robbie soon found himself sitting at the illustrious Pacific Chapter of the Union Club, with the Rockefellers, Nixons, and Weinbergers. Yet, Robbie is something else altogether. He is like a star-child that has no use for any of these social trappings. He seeks harmony in all things and with all people. He has Wu or the impression of realness in his character. Robbie flows like water through your hands when you try to grasp hold of him — the gentlest of creatures. All we sought in this interview was to discover if the hole in his chest actually occurred when traveling to Esalen to study Buddhism and Self-Actualization, (in the 70's) where he ran his father's Mercedes into a light pole. We're still not sure. Please have a listen and discover for yourself. Robbie tells us that a Bull's horn may have contributed to the hole in his heart, during a disturbing incident where he was attacked by a Holy Cow in Mysore, India. How perfect. We would include a bio of Robbie here, but nothing about him is writ or known or published. He cannot even be found. Don Bernardo de Gálvez, Spanish Governor of Louisiana and Field Marshall of the Spanish troops, laid siege to the capital of British West Florida at Pensacola in 1781. The 61-day siege was the longest landlocked siege of the American Revolutionary War. The Siege of Pensacola was the conclusion of Gálvez’s conquest of the Northern Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi River Valley. Commencing his conquest from New Orleans in September 1779, one month after a violent hurricane destroyed the General’s initial invasion there, General Gàlvez campaigned and took control of the British outposts of Manchac (September 7), Baton Rouge (September 21), and Fort Panmure at Natchez (October 5). The following spring Gálvez took Fort Charlotte at Mobile on March 14, 1780. Hurricanes and the Spanish miscalculation of merchants shipping at Pensacola in March 1780 delayed the Siege of Pensacola, which commenced in March 1781, a year after the siege of Mobile. After the siege of Pensacola in 1781, Bernardo de Gálvez was praised by his Catholic Majesty Carlos III for “the expulsion of the English from the entire Gulf of Mexico.” The Spanish King’s appreciation of Gálvez’s victory was rectified in re-naming the prestigious harbor of Pensacola to the “Bahia de Santa Maria de Gálvez.” Conde de Gálvez was raised to royalty and promoted to Lieutenant General and Governor of West Florida and Louisiana. Gálvez’s coat of arms incorporated himself aboard his flagship Gálveztown, flying a broad pennant bearing “Yo Solo,” which commemorated his entrance to and the defeat of Pensacola. Tanzania, the United Republic of (URT, is the East African country that has a very significant history along the coast of the region. The URT, represent the union of two countries with the same historical background, Tanzanian Mainland, the former Tanganyika and the Achipelago Islands of Unguja and Pemba (Zanzibar). At the time of independence, both Tanganyika and Zanzibar were under the British colonial supremacy headed by the Queen as the Head of Commonwealth states. Tanganyika under the late, Pres. Mwl. Julias Kambarage Nyerere of TANU received independence earlier than any East African country. Zanzibar, received her independence in December 1963, the new government was under the Al-Busaidy Sultan, Jamshid bin Abdallah bin Al-Saidi and his Prime Minoster Mohammed Shamte. In January 12, 1964 the Busaidy sultanate was overthrown by a revolutionary leader, Ugandan, John Okello, Field Marshall. Then, Afro-Shiraz Party led by Sheikh Abedi Aman Karume was advantageous for majority rule in the Islands. Thus, with significant historical background and reasons the two, Tanganyika and Zanzibar merged in April 26, 1964 to form the URT. The first President was Mwl Julias Kambarage Nyerere and his first Vice Preaident, Sheikh Abedi Amani Karume, at the same was the President of a Revolutionary Givernment of Zanzibar (SMZ). Thereafter, some constitutional changes had been considerably made since 1977 to 1977 for political and socio-econimic development. These can be seen briefly as indicated below for preliminary knowledge and discussio. Furthere more, from 1977 to 1992 some constitutional amendments have been made ending with re-introducing multiparty emocratic system of government. This can be briefly mentioned in part of the question i.e. 9(b). So here we are, the battle of Colenso, December 15th 1899. Four Victoria Crosses were awarded in this clash but it also led to defeat for the British who stumbled repeatedly under the command of their beloved yet faulty Sir Redvers Buller. The Boers, although victorious, began to appreciate the true fire power their opponents possessed. It's also a battle that led to the death of a Field Marshall's son Freddie Roberts. The end of the battle saw the stretcher bearers called "bodysnatchers" which included Mahatma Gandhi. Queen Victoria's beloved grandson was wounded in this battle which was incredibly one-sided where the British lost over 1137 casualties, the Boers, around 38.

There's a little red-faced man, Which is Bobs, Rides the tallest 'orse 'e can- Our Bobs. If it bucks or kicks or rears, 'E can sit for twenty years With a smile round both 'is ears- Can't yer, Bobs? That is the ditty British troops would recite about Field Marshall Lord Roberts (1832-1914) veteran of the Boer War and the 19th century wars in Afghanistan. In this podcast, produced by Love Archaeology for Pod Academy, Tom Horne and Terence Christian explore the life of Lord Roberts whose statue in Kelvingrove, Glasgow has been restored recently. They talk to his biographer, Dr. Rodney Atwood (The Life of Field Marshall Lord Roberts) and then take a walk in the rain to Kelvingrove to see the statue. Popularly known as ‘Bobs,’ Roberts was born in 1832 and died on the Western Front in 1914. Roberts won the Victoria Cross, as his son would go on to do, in the Boer War in South Africa. He’d also be involved in the strategic defence of India. As a course of this, he campaigned successfully in Afghanistan. Later on he also saved the British army from disaster in South Africa before going on to introduce army reform and campaigning for national service. He was one of the few who recognised that Imperial Germany was going to be a threat to European and world peace. Before and after his death, Field Marshal Lord Roberts was honoured with memorials in Glasgow, Kolkata, and London and also, during his life, he was immortalised in poetry by none other than Rudyard Kipling. Also, being very much aware of the power of the press and the necessity to craft one’s own image, he published an autobiography entitled Forty-One Years in India. When he died visiting the troops in France in 1914, he lay in state in Westminster Hall – joining Winston Churchill as the only other non-Royal to have this honour bestowed upon them in the 20th century. Thereafter, he was buried in St. Paul’s Cathedral in a ceremony that can only be likened to that of Lord Nelson a hundred years before. So who is this Lord Roberts, the person behind poems, and memorials throughout the length of the former British Empire? And why is a figure who was buried by his King alongside the bodies of Wellington and Nelson been neglected in recent years? This is a darkness and light story of empire, fame, notoriety, and charity. From hanging 'traitors' in Afghanistan and using scorched earth tactics and even concentration camps during the Boer War in South Africa to his family providing charity and opportunity for wounded veterans, Roberts—once paralleled with the Duke of Wellington himself—remains a compelling, if problematic, figure who won incredible victories including a famous march from Kandahar, foresaw the Great War with Imperial Germany, carefully crafted his own legend in pursuit of recognition at home, and even interacted with figures as well known as Rudyard Kipling and Lord Kitchener with whom he served in the Boer War. Lord Roberts became our subject of long-term interest due to the proximity of his Glasgow statue. For many years, Lord Roberts’ state stood, nestled in a grove of trees, outside my house. I would walk by him each day on my way to and from the Glasgow University Archaeology Department. His prominence and anonymity—he seems to have every honour available and fought in every 19th century colonial war but without any sort of modern name recognition—made us wonder: “Who was this man of past importance?” The conservation of his statue by Nicholas Boyes Stone Conservation and Glasgow City Council in 2014/2015 made us even more curious. In researching Field Marshall Lord Roberts’ incredible and varied life—which reads as though it is a “Boys’ Own” adventure—we met his biographer, Dr. Rodney Atwood. Dr. Atwood kindly spoke to us about Lord Roberts. After the interview, stay with us and we will walk down to Lord Roberts’ statue and discuss its aesthetics and place in the Kelvingrove Park landscape. Dr.
