This webinar presents the results of the Austroads project that developed guidelines for incident response vehicles and truck-mounted attenuators. The project was a collaboration between Austroads, iMOVE, Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University. Two sets of guidelines have been developed as part of the project. The first set provides information on models/types and design specifications of incident response vehicles. The guidance focuses on three vehicle types: tow trucks, truck-mounted attenuators (TMAs) and utility vehicles. In general, the design considerations are separated into three stages: determining models and general specifications, determining additional features and equipment, and determining markings, signs and other identification measures to ensure visibility and identifiability of the incident response vehicles. The second set provides guidance on when and how TMAs and other attenuator vehicles should be used in incident response scenarios. The use of TMAs for incident response often requires departures from the established guidelines for TMA use, which are generally developed around planned operations (i.e. roadworks and maintenance activities). These issues are addressed alongside related considerations around broader temporary traffic management pertaining to incident response specifically. In the webinar, presenters Narelle Haworth, Ashim Debnath and Drew Gaynor, provide an overview of the project, including the findings of the literature review, results of the stakeholder consultations and guideline development.

Episode 249: Trusting Your Gut: How Intuition and Curiosity Can Shape Big Life Stories - Interview Taylor ProctorWelcome to the Love Your Story podcast peeoooopppplllleeee!A bit ago, Taylor Proctor, a spicy little red head and the host of “Creating with Confidence” — an internationally acclaimed podcast, was meditating, and the idea of being an 8-figure business owner came to her mind. Now….8-figures is a minimum of $10m, and she initially thought….ya, there's no way that is possible. But then she decided to explore what would happen if she leaned in curiosity instead of pulling away for the sake of reality. Stay tuned to hear her story because I LOVE the idea of leaning into curiosity. That idea comes up a lot when we talk about what's possible, about not judging, about knowing ourselves better….curiosity can take us to some new places!! Stick with us and let's see where curiosity took her…..Taylor Proctor is an intuitive business strategist and coach who uses her skills as a mentor to help high-performing business owners confidently create the life and business they love. As I mentioned in the intro, she's the host of Creating with Confidence — an internationally acclaimed podcast — and she loves to work with entrepreneurs to uncover their unique intuitive strengths while scaling and propelling their businesses through her proprietary IMOVE method. Tune into the audio program to hear our conversation and topics like:Let's talk about this idea of intuition - this seems to be a big part of your system and experience. What do you know and believe about intuition?I think, when we are talking about how to make our best life stories, that intuition is a really interesting piece of the puzzle. We haven't talked about this at all, but I think we should. Also, curiosity - let's talk about that. What does that look like for you? What has your experience been? What does IMOVE mean and how do you help people with it?“When you reach the end of what you should know, you will be at the beginning of what you should sense.” ― Kahlil GibránTo Contact Taylor:8 Crazy Actions to an 8-Figure Business Opportunity — Free Access: https://8crazythings.taylorproctor.com/8 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/taylor.proctor.31/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/creatingwithconfidence/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/taylor-proctor/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSv02tDGqO2_gyUbtMfVKNgWebsite: https://www.taylorproctor.com/Podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/creatingwithconfidenceQuotes on Intuition:“Intuition is the whisper of the soul.” - Your challenge this week is to tune into your intuition. What does it tell you? Alan Alda said, “At times you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.” As we close today's episode we've heard an important story of intuition at work. Whether you have a business or not, whether you reach out to Taylor or just receive inspiration from her story, I think we can all take away some encouragement about getting curious,...

Episode description:  Amy Gardner is the creator of the program iMove and the author of the book "iMove: Helping Your Clients Heal from Compulsive Exercise." The book discusses the difference between movement and exercise, and how each relates to eating disorder recovery. In this episode of Peace Meal, Amy breaks down what compulsive exercise and movement are, both in and out of the recovery space, how to notice when exercise turns into a compulsion, and what to do when compulsive exercise starts to become the only way some individuals feel a sense of accomplishment. Amy provides insights based on her and her clients' experiences with movement and offers different approaches to changing compulsive exercise routines. We cover:  How compulsive exercise turns into a feeling of obligation and how some may operate their lives around their exercise routines Why slowing down exercise routines can be very uncomfortable, and how to address that The difference between the terms “movement” and “exercise” Questions to ask a healthcare provider if compulsive exercise is becoming a problem In Amy's words: On realizing that compulsive exercise was a  problem in her life: “It really didn't even dawn on me until I started having a much different relationship with movement...when I started to incorporate yoga and meditation and I started to realize ‘wait a minute, what I'm doing with my body is not coming from a place of love and health, it really stems into my eating disorder'”  On what compulsive exercise can do to a person: “It's more punishment-driven. It tends to lower mood; decreases energy so people have less energy because it is exhausting their bodies so they have less energy for other things in their life.” On the concept of exercise to become tired: “This concept that we need to purposefully exercise to experience movement or to achieve this state of calm. Which I think a lot of people will do, whether it's because of stress or trauma...they will exercise to exhaust themselves so they can finally rest” Follow Amy Gardner on Instagram (@imovewithamy) or Facebook (iMoveMethod). One of the very popular methods to monetize online coaching today is to do the online training courses and sell them. Coaching online is one of the proven methods that makes money! Some people prefer in-person training through Zoom or another video conferencing. They want to interact directly with trainees, so that this kind of squash should be in real time. Did you know: There are other ways to reduce the hard work of coaching life, that is to make the training material such as training videos, presentations, e-books, audiobooks... These materials must be organized in some public places so that students can reach them. The more impressions users can look for, if their Call-To-Action and Automation mechanism is good enough, they will have great opportunities to turn these impressed users into their apprentices/customers. As a matter of fact, you should keep 30% of your jobs for training in person, and 70% for training materials that can be done with automation! Why? If you make the training material such as training videos for online coaching, that means, the trainees still continue to learn the races while you are sleeping! It helps you reduce the anxiety of overworked performance. General types of online courses for life coaching: 1. In-person training Web-based training 2. Tele-conferencing or video conferencing 3. Audio conferencing 4. Web Meetings, or webinars 5. Colleges and Universities Online 6. Preparation of the cooperation document In this section, I would like to share with you the best practices of making online coaching equipment: training videos or audio conferencing, similar to audiobooks. Keep in mind: training videos are magical stuff that can be sold while you're sleeping! I know, I mentioned this once before! You're an expert at face-to-face training or on the classroom stage. Have you ever thought, if you stop a course in real time once, your income for this class will be lost! But training videos or other training material are not! They work all the time. To make training videos for online coaching, there are several ways to do it. Here is a list of ways you can consider doing this yourself: Record your real training videos in class Recording your training videos in a real class/courses then editing them with a video editor such as iMove, Movie Maker, TechSmith... for late use. Suggestions: Use the best devices to record the video: If you want to make the recording yourself, instead of entering a recording studio, here are some tips for you. Your recording place should be a small room with no noticeable echo or "room tone." It should be as quiet and soundproof as possible. You'd better use a high-quality studio condenser microphone to record your voice. Install a pop filter in front of the microphone to eliminate noise from "plosive" consonants like "p" and "b." Video quality: it is better to choose 4K or 8K cameras, and support 30 frames/sec during recording. This video quality allows you to modify later, to maintain HD quality with many video effects such as zooming, panning... Using Text To Speech software such as Talk-With-AI to turn your coaching script to audioMany coaches use Talk-With-AI to make their training videos. Text-to-speech (TTS) is a virtual assistant with AI technology that reads the text aloud. Unlike others, ADCREW's TTS, Talk-With-AI uses advanced techniques to produce high-quality natural human voices to help you engage and improve the customer experience. With voice selection enabled, it is available in 191 high-quality voices, across 46 countries and 52 languages to choose from, it is a must-have tool for content creators. Record computer screen as training video Some softwares allow you to save the screen of your computer with the built-in camera to make the training videos. They're SnagIt, TechSmith, Camtasia... You can use these software to record training videos while presenting your presentation on the screen with a small thumbnail of your face at the corner of the screen. Mixing these methods The best way to create good training video is by using all the above methods: 1. Record your training footage 2. Use Talk-With-AI as a text-to-speech program to read scripts 3. Record the presentation on the computer screen (optional) 4. Use video editor programs to build attractive training videos 5. Publish them on your e-learning training website6. Interactive methods for online coaching To make the training videos attractive to your online training courses, you should make videos with some internal interactive sections; or use these methods on the training website with training videos. Here are some of the common interactive methods: 1. Quizzes 2. Discussions in small groups 3. Case Studies Active Summaries 4. Question and Answer Sessions Therefore, using interactive online coaching sessions for training videos will allow your trainees to participate in training videos, making them more receptive to the new information. 9 steps to begin selling your videos online Here's how you can start selling videos online in 9 steps in basic ways: 1. Find your video topic niche 2. Plan your content before you start 3. Decide on a payment structure with the check-point for call-to-action 4. Create your videos using the above methods 5. Upload your videos to all potential online learning platforms 6. Organize its content so that apprentices can reach them 7. Customize your website to attract users 8. Create branded native apps for your training videos 9. Promoting your video service with SEO & SEM In Conclusion The best way to maximize trainees is to build training videos and publish them to the e-learning websites. Did you know: People can make more than $5k a month (for real) by selling training videos online! Pursuing a video-on-demand business model (VOD) for training videos will increase your audience and keep it growing from now on.

The iMove Centre has already assembled 46 commercial, research and government partners prepared to contribute a further $178 million in cash and in-kind contributions over the grant period of 10 years. The CRC will develop systems that harness the growing amount of real-time information available from cars, trucks, public transport vehicles and even personal smartphones with the aim of smoothing traffic flows, prioritising commercial freight operations and making the best use of the country's multi-billion-dollar road infrastructure. 10 Easy Steps For Getting Video On Your Business Website I'm often asked, "I have no video training but I want to put video on my website to help promote my products and services what can I do?" Well the answer is simple. If you can shoot a home movie you can put a video clip on your website. Now the first thing is to not be scared of the camera. A good sales person needs to be able to speak clearly and present their product in a manner that everyone can understand and enjoy.  So with that in mind turn on your camera, cell phone, or whatever video capturing tool you have and begin shooting. But here are a few tips for making your shoot successful and getting it up on your website. 1. Speak clearly, and so that everyone watching can understand what your saying and what your product is about. 2. Make sure you have enough light so that you and your product can be seen. But be aware that you can also have to much light. So the best thing to do is to test your video and the area your going to be shot in. Make sure you look natural. 3. A microphone is important and you need to be heard. If your using a mini-dv camera you can easily get a microphone that can attach from the camera to your clothing. Use make sure you can't see the wire that connects the mic and the camera during your video. 4. Have FUN! No one wants to see a sour face on camera. So make sure you are having fun and that you SMILE. The better you come across on camera the more people would want to buy your product or services. 5. Don't use big words in your video presentation. Keep it short sweet and simple. 6. Once you've finished your recording, watch it. Make sure it's what you want and something that you'll feel proud to have on your website. 7. Now get the clip to your computer. Your camera will have instructions on how to upload the footage. Now you can get fancy and use one of the high end video editing products. But those take a long time to learn. So if your on a PC use Windows MovieMaker and if your on a Mac use IMove and edit your clip to your licking. Don't use to make crazy effects keep it about you and your product. 8. Now once your clip is edited you need to output it to a web file. If your on a PC then output the file to a WMV. And if your on a MAC then output your clip to a .MOV file. 9. Upload it! If you don't have server space then use http://Video.Google.com or http://Youtube.com. You can easily upload your video to these services. Not only will you have the code to embed the file to your website but you will also allow others to see your video and your product who haven't been to your site yet. It will be as easy as CUT and PASTE to an HTML page. 10. Promote your video clip. Include links to your clip in your weekly newsletters. Send your clip to your friends, family, and business associates. Let them see the work you've done and ask them to pass it on to other friends. Son you'll notice that you have a ton of visitors watching your video and more traffic to your website. Recommend Reading:  Click Here: Creating Video Content Fro Your Website
