93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff gave the latest from Steelers HQ. He talked about how limited the team will be in terms of injuries. He doesn't expect a close game – predicting Bucs 24, Steelers 6.
Kenny Pickett has officially been named QB1 and will make his first start against the Bills on Sunday. It is the start of a new era. Poni thinks it's a great time for Kenny to get named starter as he faces teams the Steelers are not expected to beat, which will lower the expectations. The guys are OK with how this Steelers season ends up because they have their direction for the future. The Steelers have a chance to build the roster of the future how they want with a QB on a rookie deal. Donny said Kenny is ready for this and he's not a stranger to adversity after going through struggles at the college level and having it pay off in the end. 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff did not have good news regarding injuries, including to players like Cam Heyward and Minkah Fitzpatrick among others. Chris asked if he feels like there will be anything different from the defense that faces Josh Allen and one of the best offenses in football on Sunday. Jeff talked about the energy that entered the stadium when Kenny Pickett took over on Sunday and what it means for the team going forward. Jeff said there very well could be a change to who is returning punts on Sunday, which could result in Gunner Olszewski being left inactive.

Welcome to episode 15 of Inside The Line: The Catskills! Back in 2010, two men got stranded on Blackhead Mountain during a big Nor'easter snowstorm. The storm dumped over three feet of snow and conditions during the storm were described as horrific. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts and survival attempts, one of the hikers did not make it. Tonight, I have New York State Forest Rangers Captain Nelson and Lt Breigal here to talk about that incident. We discuss what challenges they faced, how difficult the mission was and what the hikers could have done to save themselves. Due to the weather, this was one of the most difficult rescues ever in the Catskills. Big thank you to Jeff W. for putting this interview together and thank you to the rangers and volunteers for their heroic efforts on those crazy days during the rescue. This week, Pilar talks with special guests Leslie Salmon Jones and Jeff W. Jones, co-founders of Afro Flow Yoga. Leslie and Jeff created Afro Flow Yoga in 2008, fusing a new blend of expressive movement and rhythmic music from their own explorations of healing and their African-American and Caribbean heritage, in West Africa, Haiti and Jamaica. Leslie and Jeff describe Afro Flow Yoga as an embodied practice, integrating dance movements of the African Diaspora with meditative yoga and live healing music, promoting individual and collective healing in a compassionate, inclusive, non-judgmental and safe environment. In this conversation, Pilar talks with Leslie and Jeff about what inspired them to create Afro Flow Yoga, the special role this practice has in helping us heal our fractured selves and culture at this time, and where they see it going from here. If you haven't already checked out one of their virtual classes, we hope you will so you can experience the whole-person "aha" of Afro Flow Yoga for yourself. We are BACK to LIVE Hoagie Mouth - live to tape, at least. The OG crew - Mike B, Mike L, Bob L and Jeff W - bring the lukewarm-to-hot takes for all things Philly sports. First up - live look ins on the eventual Flyers win over the Sabres. Felt a little like a must win. Carter Hart and his inconsistency is taking center stage, as much as Mike L and Jeff don't want to admit it. We move through the quickest of Delaware Blue Coats updates and onto the Eagles...and their owner taking charge and declaring King Hurts to rule them all. Disney World and Universal Studios are open!! This is a fun filled show with a trip report from Jeff W, aka (@braindud92) recapping both his family's recent 10 day vacation to the Magic Kingdom, but also his other recent trip to Universal Studios in Florida. His Co-Host Chuck Fitzgerald (@chuckinthechat) and our own Little Litem discuss the pros and cons of safety measures taken. Was the magic of the Disney Bubble lost? Did the problems of the muggle world impact the enjoyment of Harry Potter at USF? Take a listen as we stroll down memory lane. Six feet apart of course.
Why do marketers avoid website accessibility considerations? In this episode of The Kula Ring, Jeff W. White talks about where marketers fall short when building websites and web content for all users, and how accessibility features and conversion goals can work together to build a good user experience.
The inbound marketing sales funnel suggests there's an unlimited amount of traffic and leads, but how does that strategy scale when you're a manufacturer with a limited number of prospects? On The Kula Ring, Carman Pirie and Jeff W. White discuss why the funnel doesn't work in a B2B context and how manufacturers can shift to a more human-centered approach that focuses on a small number of target accounts using a blend of campaign tactics including inbound and account-based marketing strategies.
Greetings Hoagie Mouth Nation - hope you are staying safe and choosing to entertain yourselves via our POD CONTENT. We take Mike B, Mike L and your host Jeff W through whatever sports were still around, at the time we recorded. To that end we recorded before the major sports leagues suspended play. SO - we talked about how good the Flyers have been playing, and positioning for a deep run into the playoffs. We had a live look in against the Bruins which didn't go so well. But we are happy that we're currently frozen in 2nd place in the Metro Division. Onto the Sixers who definitely could use some time off! We ponder how the team can perform down the stretch...and maybe see the emergence of some new stars...and hopefully the emergence of one key off-season acquisition. Cough Cough Horford. Then it's the inaugural (only?) segment called "WHO SAID THAT", where you have a variety of quotes and need to match it with the proper Scott. We'll explain. # 102!! We are hella West Coastin today! Not only do we have the ridiculously dope and incredible, Jansport J, but we've also got emcee/manager-extraordinaire, Slim Jeff. If you don't know Jansport J you're falling off. He's one of the best and most interesting producers out. Whether he's creating solo instrumental albums or collaborating with emcees, his sound immediately stands out in the seemingly endless sea of sample based producers. As a huge fan of his work, it was dope to sit down and talk to J and slim about their experiences visiting Japan for the first time, navigating the music industry as a sample based artist, lo-fi and soul music, the Tokyo beat community, and much more. The second half of the podcast drops on Tuesday. We go much more in depth about their music, their creative process, and taste in music. So tune in for that too. And to top this shit off, we got the wonderfully talented producer, illustrator and homie, Foniks, as guest host. Shout out to J, Slim, and Foniks. Make sure you go buy their art. And more importantly tell someone about it. @jansportj Jansportjmusic.com @slimjeff Slimjeff.com Slimjeff.bandcamp.com @megalateshow @foniksbumps

There is a fabulous key chain and DCL Galveston pin awaiting one lucky listener who will go to our facebook page and enter a comment telling us their area of Disney Trivia Concentration. Leave a message between today and when the next show posts (4/23/13) and a winner will be randomly selected from the comments! If you are listening the moment this show posts, you'll be listening along to our wedding music as its happening!! EEEK! Thanks to Jeff W for another great song. And thanks to all our friends and listeners who have made this whole thing so much fun to do and who continue to listen, even when we ramble (and by "we", I mean "I"). Thansk to Cat #1 for being generally awesome and totally brilliant. And to my own personal Googly Bear, who today is finally making an honest woman out of me... #godforbid www.thosedarncats.net
Are you surprised to hear that we're not impressed by the Disney Princes, as a general rule? The Watchamacallit joins us this week. Plus, festive Halloween music courtesy of our friend Jeff W! Need to discuss? Check out thosedarncats.net, or email podcast@thosedarncats.net.
Much Thanks to "DJ Wazowski" for this Halloween audio fun! Paul will see you all on 11/1... Here is what Jeff said about his creation: ************ Mongello Everyone!Well its happened, those unemployment checks from AATM have stopped coming in. So of course that means its time to roll up the shirt sleeves, put on the headphones and get back in the studio. For fun this week I have been working on a Halloween remix/mashup that answers the question "what if" you could put your own theme music to a Disney attraction. Being that its October I decided to put some scary movie themes under some selected audio tracks from the Haunted Mansion. The results turned out pretty good although I had no luck mixing Grim Grinning Ghosts over the Gremlins theme. So as you'll hear, I just let the music play during that section. But if you use a little imagination you can picture a gang of Gremlins singing "Grim Grinning Ghosts come out, Grim Grinning Ghosts come out" while crawling and jumping through the graveyard. The other underlying tracks include the theme from Halloween and Tubular Bells from the Exorcist.Happy Haunting and may your goody bags be full,DJ Wazowski (That's Jeff W for those of you living in Minnesota.)
Join our "guest host", Myra Katz, in an extended review of audio collected from the 10th annual ToonFest in Marceline, Mo. Check out our blog post at www.thosedarncats.net for more info and pics! It's a LONG episode and we will return to our normal format next week! Cheers!
