Bayern Munich just saw the Bundesliga title slip from their grasp at the last possible second against RB Leipzig. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. In this episode Danny breaks down this rollercoaster match from top to bottom. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for full coverage of the remainder of the football season, all the news, trophy celebrations, and community you can image. Bayern Munich faced off against RB Leipzig with a chance to become champions of the Bundesliga with a win. Instead we got a crazy 3-3 draw with plenty of lows and then highs and then a final second stoppage time goal to halt the already begun celebrations. Danny takes to the mic with emotions running high to break down Vincent Kompany's lineup (yes Harry Kane was suspended), tactics, player performances, and all the match highlights/lowlights. An early defensive miscommunication and collapse from Bayern saw keeper Jonas Urbig far off his line setting up a simple Benjamin Sesko goal which was followed by another Leipzig goal sending them off to a blazing 2-0 start. In the second half Bayern Munich scored two goals in less than a minute to equalize. Eric Dier's header assisted by a Michael Olise corner and then Olise getting a goal himself assisted by Serge Gnabry. Finally, late in the match Leroy Sane scored what was seemingly the Bundesliga dagger in the 83 minute from a Joshua Kimmich assist flick. Players and Vincent Kompany himself were beginning title celebrations after 4 minutes of added stoppage time when Kingsley Coman failed to clear a ball in the box and Yussuf Poulsen chipped an equalizer over Urbig in the 95th minute. A single point in this match was enough to guarantee at best Bayer Leverkusen can equal Bayern Munich in points and the Bavarians hold a 30 goal lead in goal differential. The title is all but theirs but mathematically nothing can be awarded until either Leverkusen loses or draws to SC Freiburg or Bayern Munich beats or draws to Borussia Mönchengladbach next week at the Allianz Arena. Be sure to tune back in for a BIG celebration next weekend. Until then Mia San Mia. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Thanks for listening/watching.

Bayern Munich is down to its final three games before the Winterpause and some might consider the team to be a little bit wobbly at this point — albeit with a pretty sturdy Jamal Musiala-infused crutch to keep them upright (shout out, Toni Kroos). As things head into the homestretch before the break, let hit on some of the big topics of the day. This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show: Some final takeaways on Bayern Munich's win over Heidenheim. Retiring Franz Beckenbauer's number is pretty cool, but I have a strong, anti-retiring numbers stance. I'm conflicted…help me! Bayern Munich is riddled with injuries now that Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman have joined the walking wounded. What can Vincent Kompany do to survive the next three games?

Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. Club football is back, check out the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for the videos we posted over the International break. We kick this episode off by discussing Bayern Munich's big Saturday win in the Bundesliga against VfB Stuttgart. After a slow first half Bayern was able to win the match 4-0 thanks for a Harry Kane hat trick and the closing goal by Kingsley Coman. Joshua Kimmich clocked an assist and Thomas Muller contributed to the attack with an injured Jamal Musiala. Joao Palhinha was subbed on early as Aleksander Pavlovic has broken his collarbone and will be out for a while. We break down the lineup, coaching tactics, injuries, individual player performances, and of course hand out our match awards. Chelsea had a big match at Anfield against Liverpool in the EPL. While it was a disappointing 2-1 loss, there was much to breakdown. Nicolas Jackson scored Chelsea's only goal assisted by Moises Caicedo. We review lineups, tactics, performances, and hand out our match awards. Both Bayern Munich and Chelsea have midweek matches. Bayern Munich's preseason preparations are underway and soon, the full roster will be back in Bavaria ready to hit the ground running in the club's quest to get back into the trophy-winning game. To get back to there, though, Bayern Munich will need to finalize that figures to be an active summer of roster moves. Let's talk about all of that and more on this episode of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show: After EUROs, it has come out that Harry Kane is hurt...what does this mean for Bayern Munich? Is Bayern Munich getting closer on Xavi Simons? Does Manchester United's acquisition of Leny Yoro help or hurt Bayern Munich quest to sell Matthijs de Ligt? (It's still a mistake by the way!) Response to a call or Q&A — and why it was the perfect segue to a discussion regarding Bayern Munich's newfound plan to cut salaries for top players. Another week of rumors pointing toward an exit for Joshua Kimmich, but the potential moves for Alphonso Davies, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, and Kingsley Coman might be harder to manage.
