Nervydrásající souboj McLarenů o vítězství. Lando Norris a Oscar Piastri předvedli na Red Bull Ringu parádní týmovou bitvu, která držela fanoušky v napětí až do posledních kol. V jedenáctém kole se Piastri dokonce krátce dostal před Norrise, ale britský jezdec mu to hned v další zatáčce vrátil. Oba jeli na hraně, ale s respektem – a Norris si nakonec dojel pro vítězství, čímž se dotáhl na svého týmového kolegu v celkovém pořadí. McLaren tak jasně ukázal, že má aktuálně nejsilnější dvojici na startovním roštu. Na opačné straně spektra se ocitly týmy, které na tento víkend budou chtít rychle zapomenout. Red Bull zažil domácí katastrofu: Max Verstappen odstoupil už v prvním kole po kolizi s Kimim Antonellim a Júki Cunoda nebodoval. Ani Williams si neužil lepší chvíle – Alex Albon musel odstoupit kvůli problémům s pohonnou jednotkou a tým tak odjíždí bez jediného bodu. Pro oba týmy to byl víkend plný frustrace a zklamání. Naopak, Sauber prožil malý zázrak. Gabriel Bortoleto a Nico Hülkenberg dovezli oba vozy do bodované desítky na osmém a devátém místě. Pro černo-zelený tým je to obrovský úspěch a potvrzení, že aktuálně prožívají nejlepší formu za poslední roky. Sauber se tak stává černým koněm letošní sezony a fanoušci už netrpělivě čekají, co předvedou příště. A na závěr krátký pohled do budoucnosti: kalendář 2026 přináší několik zásadních novinek. Sezona začne v Austrálii, přibude nový okruh v Madridu a některé tradiční podniky mění datum. Největší změnou je ale posun některých závodů na sobotu a hlavně – předsezonní příprava bude zahrnovat hned tři testy: jeden v Barceloně a dva v Bahrajnu. To znamená více prostoru pro týmy na přípravu a ještě větší očekávání před startem nové éry F1.
