It's said that right around the time of the Roswell UFO crash of 1947, a group hidden beyond plain sight were formed to first examine alien remains before ultimately controlling decision-making pertaining to alien visitation to earth, as well as controlling the development of our own future based upon alien technology. Those documents included a Majestic 12 1952 Briefing given by an anonymous intelligence official to Britain's leading ufologist of the time, Timothy Good. Across the pond, UFO researcher Jaime Shandera also received this 1952 briefing, purported to be written by a Head of Central Intelligence, Roscoe Hillenkoetter, for President-elect Dwight Eisenhower, outlining the creation of the Majestic 12. This led to a probing of archives which uncovered further mention of this mysterious group in official records. Aliens WERE recovered at Roswell AND elsewhere! Some say this is all legitimate. Others believe that this is a hoax. Others still, acknowledge that the best cover up of all may indeed be to just tell the truth, sprinkled with one or two easily disprovable elements to convince the world that the truth is too bonkers to be real. In 1984 a package containing a roll of 35 millimeter film arrived at the home of Jamie Shandera, a filmmaker researching UFO sightings.  The film contained images of what appeared to be official government documents detailing the creation of a secret government program tasked with managing alien contact, crashed alien craft, and research into the UFO phenomenon. The files caused a public outcry for answers, an investigation by the FBI and Airforce, and produced a split in the UFO community as to the validity of the documents and the story they told. Support the show

While flying his small plane in June of 1947, businessman and civilian pilot Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine objects moving at high speeds through the skies over Washington's Mount Rainier. Widely publicized reports of Arnold's experience, followed by an increasing number of reported UFO sightings, led the U.S. Air Force to begin investigating the incidents with Operation Sign in 1948. The initial investigation resulted in the formation of Project Blue Book in 1952, which became the longest-running of the U.S. government's official inquiries into UFO sightings, compiling reports on more than 12,000 sightings or related events from 1952 until its termination. The project, headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, was terminated on Dec. 17, 1969.
