Jerry returns for an update and starts with Chris Russo on Boomer Esiason's Hall of Fame induction and he said he doesn't think he voted for him. The Mets lost to the Nationals despite Juan Soto hitting two home runs. The Moment of The Day: Boomer talks about Eddie retiring, ‘See Ya!'

We break down the spread for tonight's Knicks/Cavs Game 2, talk about Josh Hart's unselfish play, and explain why Gio would still pick the Knicks to win the series even with a Game 1 loss. Next, a caller cries over Eddie's retirement, prompting Mark Chernoff to call in to discuss Eddie stepping down and Boomer making the Hall of Fame. Jerry then returns with an update featuring Chris Russo admitting he didn't vote for Boomer's induction, followed by the Mets' loss to the Nationals despite two Juan Soto home runs.
