This is a discussion with Eddie Munster himself - Butch Patrick! Richard grew up watching Butch Patrick in just about everything from Shazam (1974), Lidsville (1971-72), The Phantom Tollbooth (1970), The Munsters (1964-66), and The Monkees 1967 Christmas episode. In that episode Butch plays Melvin Vandersnoot, a child of 10 going on 65 with no Christmas spirit. So we did some research and bought the top-level Platinum Annual Passes to Universal Studios Hollywood and had an amazing time! Universal has really stepped it up with the addition of Wizarding World and Super Nintendo World, so we thought this was a great time to compare the two theme parks. The dark lord reveals to Orman that his sister is not as innocent as he believes. Celebrate 40 years of your fandom with Skywalking Through Neverland on the Podcast Stage! At this interactive stage show we had a slideshow presentation with pictures depicting different moments in Star Wars fandom, from 1977 to 2017. We asked for those present if they had any stories, and several came up to share. Randy Martinez (Star Wars Artist) joined us for a mini-segment of Classic Marvel Star Wars Comics. He lent his artistic expertise to Comic Book Cover #14, as well as an ad that didn't look quite right. In Things We Want To Share, Dave Parfitt (Adventures By Daddy) joined us to showcase Give Kids The World, a charity you can still donate to right now, right here. We finished off the show with a tribute to Carrie Fisher - all the kids came up on stage and sang “Celebrate the Love” - the Life Day song Princes Leia sings in the Star Wars Holiday Special. All in all, this was a special event, we had over a hundred people join us for the Live Show. We had the 7:30pm Saturday time slot - the last show of the night, so we took a bit longer than one hour! Matt Busch and Lin Zy have both been chosen to be official Star Wars Celebration Art Show Artists! While it's always fun talking with another married couple, it's especially exciting to talk to them both about their SWCO Art Show pieces, both of which spoke to Richard and Sarah in different ways. Lin Zy has a beautiful Japanese-inspired Ahsoka piece.    Matt Busch did a celebration of collectibles that looks like he went into Richard's bedroom as a kid growing up, and put it all on a massive painting. Sarah and Richard delve into the music of Star Wars Rebels where we will look and listen to cues from Legacy of Mandalore and Secret Cargo. Disney's live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST arrives in theaters on March 17th, and we have a treat for you - interviews with the entire cast, director and composer direct from the March 5th Los Angeles Press Junket! Emma Watson is delightful as she eloquently speaks on the character of Belle. Luke Evans (Gaston) and Josh Gad (LeFou) absolutely steal the show with their wit and song. Then Director Bill Condon and Composer Alan Menken teach us about storytelling and song-writing as they describe how they adapted this 300-year old story for live-action. There are four new songs in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - we go through each to prime you for the movie. Imagine trekking to Tatooine - visiting those same sand dunes used for Jabba's Sail Barge and Sarlacc Battle in Return Of The Jedi. "At last! Beyond The Movie! Beyond the Galaxy!” reads the cover of each issue of the Marvel Star Wars comics from 1977 and beyond. Richard, Sarah and Star Wars artist Randy Martinez dive into these classic Marvel Star Wars comics from the 1970's and 1980's. In this episode we look at Star Wars #12: 'DOOMWORLD!' Well, this comic MUST be good because the title is in all caps! There's also a ROGUE ONE reference, and you will have to help us settle a big debate on just which Star Destroyer appears in this comic. Title: "DOOMWORLD!" Release Date: March 14, 1978 Writer: Archie Goodwin Consulting Editor: Jim Shooter Penciller: Carmine Infantino, Terry Austin Synopsis: Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 are still stranded on the water world Drexel. However they are caught in the middle of a battle between the sea-dragons, one ridden by a Dragon Lord; and hydra craft piloted by Governor Quarg's scavengers. The combatants are battling for the prize of Luke's wrecked ship, as anything mechanical is a rare commodity on this ocean-covered planet. Luke and the droids are captured and brought back to their base where Luke tries to convince Quarg that the droids would be more useful to them intact instead of being stripped down for parts. Meanwhile, Han Solo is leading Crimson Jack and his gang of pirates to the Drexel system under the pretense that there is treasure to be found. How many times have you watched a Star Wars films and thought, “I wonder where that prop or costume piece ended up?” The answer is most likely Gus Lopez's amazing STAR WARS Collection. Each day, he posts a “Daily Grail” on Facebook, showing off one piece of his collection at a time. We were fascinated to learn the stories behind the original Death Star, Emperor Palpatine's yellow contact lenses, costume notes and size measurements for the Hutt-slayer Leia costume and SO MUCH MORE. Former Imagineer Mark Eades joins us to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of STAR TOURS.
