Though, it should be noted, he did appoint two heads to the department tasked with ferreting out inefficiencies–so it remains to be seen how effective this unofficial department will be. Legal experts note that while senior attorneys often transition easily to law firms or corporate roles, junior lawyers with specialized government experience may struggle in Washington's competitive private legal market. Trump's nominee for attorney general, Pam Bondi, has pledged to scrutinize prosecutions conducted under the Biden administration, intensifying tensions between the executive branch and career government lawyers. Despite fears, former officials like Rod Rosenstein emphasize that much of the federal legal system's work continues largely unaffected by political changes. Bitcoin mining demands vast amounts of electricity, sometimes exceeding the annual consumption of entire nations, with much of this energy coming from fossil fuels. This reliance contributes to air pollution and climate change, externalizing significant costs onto society. Current electricity prices do not fully reflect these environmental tolls, leaving the public to shoulder the broader consequences.Globally, momentum is building for a crypto tax to address these issues. The Global Solidarity Levies Task Force, led by countries like Kenya and France, has proposed taxing electricity used in mining, setting an example with a suggested rate of $0.045 per kilowatt-hour. Such measures could generate billions annually while encouraging miners to adopt more sustainable practices, such as renewable energy or energy-efficient technologies. In the U.S., a proposed 30% tax on mining electricity under the Biden administration faced political challenges, particularly as the incoming Trump administration is expected to oppose such measures. Still, a domestic crypto tax could reduce emissions, promote greener technologies, and align mining with fiscal and environmental justice principles. In this first episode of Season 3, James and Jerry journey to Mineral County, West Virginia.  Why Mineral County?  This is where the city of Fort Ashby is located and home to the Ashby's Fort Museum.  After taking in this historical location built during the French and Indian War, we had the fantastic opportunity to interview Randy Crane who is a volunteer curator for the museum.   What we found out on our visit was, although it is a small-town museum, it provides a wealth of information to any and all who visit. Celebrate 40 years of your fandom with Skywalking Through Neverland on the Podcast Stage! At this interactive stage show we had a slideshow presentation with pictures depicting different moments in Star Wars fandom, from 1977 to 2017. We asked for those present if they had any stories, and several came up to share. Randy Martinez (Star Wars Artist) joined us for a mini-segment of Classic Marvel Star Wars Comics. He lent his artistic expertise to Comic Book Cover #14, as well as an ad that didn't look quite right. In Things We Want To Share, Dave Parfitt (Adventures By Daddy) joined us to showcase Give Kids The World, a charity you can still donate to right now, right here. We finished off the show with a tribute to Carrie Fisher - all the kids came up on stage and sang “Celebrate the Love” - the Life Day song Princes Leia sings in the Star Wars Holiday Special. All in all, this was a special event, we had over a hundred people join us for the Live Show. We had the 7:30pm Saturday time slot - the last show of the night, so we took a bit longer than one hour! Matt Busch and Lin Zy have both been chosen to be official Star Wars Celebration Art Show Artists! While it's always fun talking with another married couple, it's especially exciting to talk to them both about their SWCO Art Show pieces, both of which spoke to Richard and Sarah in different ways. Lin Zy has a beautiful Japanese-inspired Ahsoka piece.    Matt Busch did a celebration of collectibles that looks like he went into Richard's bedroom as a kid growing up, and put it all on a massive painting. Sarah and Richard delve into the music of Star Wars Rebels where we will look and listen to cues from Legacy of Mandalore and Secret Cargo. Disney's live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST arrives in theaters on March 17th, and we have a treat for you - interviews with the entire cast, director and composer direct from the March 5th Los Angeles Press Junket! Emma Watson is delightful as she eloquently speaks on the character of Belle. Luke Evans (Gaston) and Josh Gad (LeFou) absolutely steal the show with their wit and song. Then Director Bill Condon and Composer Alan Menken teach us about storytelling and song-writing as they describe how they adapted this 300-year old story for live-action. There are four new songs in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - we go through each to prime you for the movie. Le Fou as played by Josh Gad is the first overtly gay character in a Disney film, tune in to hear our thoughts on that. Emma Watson absolutely brings us to tears. The Variety Show had various acts headlined by various celebrities, including Weird Al Yankovic, Doug Benson (Doug Loves Movies), Matt Gourley (Superego; I Was There Too), Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks), Busy Philipps (Freaks & Geeks), Rogue One composer Michael Giacchino. Michael Giacchino may also have given Sarah a birthday message, thanks to Richard Woloski being a fantastic husband!! Imagine trekking to Tatooine - visiting those same sand dunes used for Jabba's Sail Barge and Sarlacc Battle in Return Of The Jedi.
