After Vince McMahon comes out to confront HBK, he gets pushed to the mat. Al Snow and Steve Blackman team up against The Dudley Boyz. Afterwards, DX and Pat Patterson attack the Dudleyz and Tori hits a flying splash to Bubba Ray Dudley through a table.  Rikishi battles Kurt Angle but WWF Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian get involved leading Too Cool to make the save. WWF Hardcore Champion Crash Holly defends against The Godfather, however, one of The Godfather's Ho's pins Crash and becomes Hardcore Champ. WWF Champion The Rock and Triple H confront each other before their match at Judgment Day.  Chris Jericho battles Hardcore Holly in a Hardcore Match which sees WWF Intercontinental Champion Chris Benoit attack Y2J. Shane McMahon mocks The Big Show and books him in a Handicap Match against T&A. Ok so maybe you don't remember that one, but there is this little thing called the NWO that might have led to WCW taking the lead in the Monday Night Wars....possibly! Sting has turned his back on WCW, and left the Horsemen and Luger in the lurch heading into WAR GAMES! Who will save WCW this time? It's one of the most fondly remembered War Games matches, but what about the event itself, well the Better Call Creative boys do a deep dive rewatch of the event, and reimagine what the show could have been! Jonathan Gresham defended the Ring Of Honor World Championship with a win over AJ Gray The Briscoes beat Brody King & PCO to retain the GCW Tag Titles. (STINGER: New Japan) FILTHY Tom Lawlor is still the Strong Openweight Champion. He retained the gold by choking out Fred Rosser in the main event of Saturday night's New Japan Strong. Taylor Rust - a former member of Team Filthy before he signed with WWE - showed up after the match…and attacked Lawlor! A new version of Black Tiger has surfaced on Strong. He teamed with Team Filthy's JR Kratos & Royce Isaacs to beat FinJuice and Rocky Romero, the former “Black Tiger” who shed the persona more than a decade ago. The new Black Tiger pinned Romero with the Black Tiger Driver. The DKC & Kevin Knight beat Jordan Clearwater & Brogan Finlay. Back in Japan… New Japan is running four “Road To Tokyo Dome” shows this week. September 28th, 1998: After a shocking turn of events at "Breakdown" last night, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is no longer the WWF Champion! Vince McMahon schedules a ceremony to present the title to the new champion tonight, but "The Rattlesnake" has a surprise in store when he shows up on a very unique vehicle. Later on, Mr. McMahon forces The Undertaker & Kane to compete in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match against The Rock, Mankind, and Ken Shamrock. However, the chairman's pride ends up getting the better of him when he pushes The Brothers of Destruction too far, resulting in a brutal beating at their hands. The New Age Outlaws defend their WWF Tag Team Titles against Southern Justice, but a surprising scuffle may cause one member of DX to leave the group. X-Pac puts his newly-won European Title on the line against Val Venis, with the highlight being the post-match return of a bizarre superstar. And speaking of the European Title, for the first time on "Raw" we get a Six-Man Elimination Match between Edge, Gangrel, D'Lo Brown, Jeff Jarrett, Marc Mero, and Darren Drozdov, with the winner becoming the #1 contender for X-Pac's title next week. Owen Hart faces Dan "The Beast" Severn in a Submission Match, but it ends up being cut short when one of the participants appears to get seriously injured (spoiler: it's not actually a legitimate injury). Mark Henry goes one-on-one against Faarooq with Chyna acting as a completely-not-impartial guest referee. Al Snow takes on Vader in a match which only serves to further destroy the career of "The Mastodon." Oddities members Kurrgan & Golga team up to take on the freshly-heel-turned Headbangers as hometown Detroit natives The Insane Clown Posse make their presence felt during the match.
