Ben and Andrew react to a miserable night at the Lane as Ruben Selles' Hull "do a job" on the Blades in a frustrating performance. We discuss Tom Cannon's debut, the welcome return of Vini Souza, how new signing Hamza Choudhury will fit into the team - and how we might shape the team around him - and look ahead to Derby County on Saturday. Thanks for listening, and UTB!

Big game coming up lads and lasses. It's absolutely massive, git huge, humongous actually but... it's not a must win; it's a 'be really nice to win this hew' type match aye. Gav and Chris explain all this and give their thoughts on Connolly leaving SAFC - and Tom Cannon possibly coming in - as they look ahead to Burnley away live on Sky under the Friday night lights. What's the crack? SO IS IT MASSIVE OR ISN'T IT? It's pretty big I'd say, but I would say that. Seriously though, how do the lads feel ahead of our return to league action? Our Chris Wynn breaks from another trip down ye olde memory lane with some sobering and of course absolutely properly thoroughly researched tactical analysis of our opponents; It turns out they're pretty good at not conceding. So we need to score at least one more than them. We've cracked it again aye. Good Luck Aaron; It looks like Connolly is off to Millwall after a brief stay with us and we wish him all the best! What's this about Tom Cannon? This will all likely change rapidly but it seems we're looking at a deal to bring the 22 year old Leicester City forward to Sunderland that would become a permanent move should we achieve promotion to the Premier League. So what do we make of it all, as of the time of recording? How do we think Regis Le Bris will approach this? Will he be tempted to go for it and try catch them, do they offer teams many opportunities to catch them really? Will Enzo get a chance this soon? All this and more! Ha'way the Lads! #SAFC #EFL #EFLChampionship #SkyBetChampionship Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Today on The English Wine Diaries, my guest is Elisha Rai, one half of the couple who founded FOLC, a high quality English rosé wine brand with a modern mindset. Recognising the demand in the UK for an English version of the popular Provence-style rosés made in the south of France, Elisha and her finance, Tom Cannon launched their 2019 vintage of FOLC just as the world descended into lockdown. It was a challenging time to launch a new business but FOLC soon gained a huge fanbase and this year was ranked the highest scoring still English rosé in Britain at the International Wine Challenge. We talk about what it's like starting a wine brand from scratch with no previous background in the industry, the moves (and mistakes) that have got FOLC to where is today and what drives Elisha and Tom to continue striving to produce the best still English rosé. You can follow FOLC on Instagram @drink.folc and find out more at DrinkFOLC.com. Tom Cannon said that he had a one-step recovery program and that his name was Jesus.
Tom Cannon was hired as the CEO of National Carts, a company that had been around for over 25 years, about 3 years ago. He talks about the process of creating a common vision when stepping into somebody else’s company, as well as the process of realizing that nothing about the culture was aligned with that future vision. He describes his investment in changing the culture, including taking everybody through Radical Collaboration®, which focuses on building collaborative skills like self-awareness and self-accountability, and elaborates on growing his own self-awareness.
Tom Cannon started messing around with drugs in high school. Before graduation, he had already stuck a needle in his arm. For the next ten years, he was a stone cold addict. He said the wheels were beginning to come off of the bus, his marriage was a shambles and he was losing his business. One day he met two rugged carpenters on a job site. They told him about a one-step recovery program and Tom's life was instantly changed.
