In this thought-provoking episode, we explore the concept of manifestation from a Christian perspective, examining its spiritual implications and alignment with biblical teachings. Join us as we discuss the differences between manifestation practices and faith-based living, and why many Christians believe that manifestation is not of God. Through scripture analysis, theological insights, and personal testimonies, we offer a comprehensive look at the reasons behind this belief and provide guidance for those seeking to align their lives more closely with God's will.Verses:John 15:7: If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.Ecclesiastes 3:11: Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end.Deuteronomy 8:17-19: He did all this so you would never say to yourself, ‘I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.' Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. “But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed.Conenct with Cari:Instagram: instagram.com/carithompsonrnFacebook: www.facebook.com/cari.ayres.3Website: VeryCariPodcast.com

In this sermon, we look at what a deep friendship actually looks like. We are created beings, designed for community by a God whose whole being is the essence of communal relationship. We are not self-sustaining and we are not meant to be. In our greatest need, the thing we need the most is a friend to stand up for us, to walk alongside us and lean on. Even Jesus himself needed friends, as we see in the garden of Gethsemane. So what does it mean for us, as Christians, to be a friend to one another? What does it mean if we find ourselves without these kinds of relationships in our lives? There is a song called What A Friend We Have In Jesus, it was sung during our Sunday worship this Sunday. As someone who grew up outside of the church, I used to think this song was especially cheesy. But this Sunday, I actually listened to some of the verses and they really struck me as having some serious truths to them. " Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge-- take it to the Lord in prayer! Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In his arms he'll take and shield you; you will find a solace there." We know that David continually took his cares and anxieties to the Lord - we can see this all throughout the book of Psalms. Jesus has sent us a Comforter, our closest friend, who will never leave us or forsake us. Let's heed the wisdom of the bible and lean into God, at all times, in all circumstances. ~KT www.gracevalleychurch.ca

There's a great old hymn that I love called “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.” And we know that Jesus is our friend. The question then is...what kind of friend am I to Jesus? This week on Wonderfully Weird Living with Pastor Drake, we'll learn that building a true friendship with Jesus...and others...takes diligence. Drake Hunter is Senior Pastor at Elevating Life Church in Fort Morgan, Colorado, founder of the non-profit “Four Dimensional Living” as well as the author of three books including his latest “Wonderfully Weird” and the upcoming “Wonderfully Weird Goodness.” Now, this week's edition of Wonderfully Weird Living with Pastor Drake Hunter.

This episode is dealing with a difficult matter of finding a true friend. There may be a few, I'm sure even more when it comes to hanging out simply to be in associating for kicks. We often feel an honest friend is like seeking a precious gem in a cavern or hidden tunnel. The true definition has long vanished from all existence perhaps to never be discovered again. Many can comment of a social contact who may appear like a friend without knowing the dictionary has not fully represented the word. Can a real friend truly subject one to hideous on today off tomorrow antics with a vengeance. It hard to understand some who that, hurt for hurt or pain for pain is an even trade. Its easy to claim having a bad moment to be excused after showing as unfriendly act to a friend . Everyone must maintain themselves regardless of how upset we become in the company of others. A friend will help one another and not keep count of what you did then look for deed in return just be thankful you could assist. Giving aid to a cause shouldn't have a cost, especially if its not an establishment. A true friend is difficult too find. Too prank is not funny. Galatians–1:6-10 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. 10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Foolish hearts why will ye wander from a love so true and deep? Here at the beginning of Galatians 1, Paul wastes no time expressing his dismay that the churches he has nurtured in the faith have drifted from the doctrines of grace back into man-centered religion. The temptation to rely upon works of the law or human goodness for our salvation is no less dangerous for us than it was for the church of the first century. In this morning’s service, hymns such as Jesus, Shepherd Of Thy People and My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less will point us back to the sufficiency and exclusivity of Christ’s work: we “wholly lean on Jesus’ name,” and “by His power alone we stand.” In contrast to the fruitless striving required by the false teachers’ “different gospel,” the invitation from Matthew 11 and hymns like Jesus Shall Reign, What A Friend We Have In Jesus, and Come Ye Souls, By Sin Afflicted, offer us rest in the grace of Jesus. The question, “are you weak and heavy laden,” is answered with “take His easy yoke and wear it.” In Him, “the weary find eternal rest.” I pray that each of us this morning would be refreshed by the rest found in the true gospel. —Henry C. Haffner Key Words: Astonished, Gospel, Accursed Keystone Verse: For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10)

15 Minutes w/ Ms.B - Double Minded Topic: Double Minded Scripture:James 1:6-8 -- James 1:6-8 ESV But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 4:8 ESV Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 1:8 ESV He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:22-25 ESV But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. 1 Peter 5:8 ESV Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. James 1:22 ESV But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 4:3 ESV You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. James 4:7 ESV Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. www.stormtalk365radio.com www.positivelymsb.com Brother johns music Published on Sep 14, 2014 SUBSCRIBED 1.8K SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBED UNSUBSCRIBE This mix is from the quiet times volume series 1,2,3,4, and quiet time players cd .
