Kezia grew up as a pastor's kid in a church full of elderly people, then she went to KYCK in Year & and thought: there are people my age who believe this.Kezia joins Joel and Ethan for a conversation that's funny, fresh, and surprisingly wise for someone still figuring out what comes next. She talks about growing up in a congregation where she was surrounded by grandparent-aged friends, learning to love reading despite her dyslexia, and the Instagram reel that made her cry after a breakup and feel, for the first time, like God was speaking directly to her.She also shares one of the most creative frameworks for understanding the fruit of the spirit ever heard on this podcast — each fruit assigned to a different fruit, each year of life shaped by a different virtue — and the journey of slowly realising that ADHD, dysgraphia and anxiety don't define her. God does. From a Fiji mission trip that overwhelmed and reshaped her, to church streaming during COVID, to interior design at TAFE and a job at Betty's Burgers at the airport, Kezia has learnt that God doesn't let anything go to waste. Not the hard seasons, not the uncertain ones, not even the ones where she had no idea what she was doing.

Through quick exercises and a target illustration, he sorts beliefs into three buckets: essential (bullseye), important, and personal convictions. He emphasizes essential beliefs—God's existence, Jesus as the risen Lord, salvation by grace, and perseverance—and explains how clarifying these priorities improves discipleship and prevents personal convictions from becoming divisive. Romans 10:9 is given as a core affirmation of the faith.

Reaching the next generation is something that we talk about a lot on the shows. How do we get the young people in our churches to continue to follow Christ with everything that they have? To live for Christ has been a challenge for every church age and for every generation, but Gen Z is uniquely complicated. They live in a world that prizes self-expression that discourages conviction. They celebrate spirituality but they reject absolute truth because that's just the world in which they live in. They can't even trust their own eyes many times. As pastors, parents, and mentors, how do we not only help young believers to take their faith seriously, but also inspire them to be bold, evangelical, unashamed and mission minded? In a culture that often labels faith in Christianity as intolerant. These are things that our kids face. Now, on today's show, we are talking with Austin Dutton, pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lawton, Alabama. He makes an investment in the youth there. Young adults and student ministry alike. And we're going to talk with him about what it looks like for parents, churches and youth pastors to encourage our youth to move from silent belief to outspoken faith.Visit https://www.lfbi.org/learnmore

Monique is joined by Dr. Thaddeus Williams, professor at Biola University, for a deep dive into a conversation of socialism versus capitalism from a biblical perspective. They discuss why many young Christians, particularly those aged 18-29, are drawn to socialist ideas. They unpack the misconceptions about socialism, its historical track record, and how it aligns—or conflicts—with biblical principles. Discover why 60-62% of young Americans view socialism favorably and explore the dangers of blending socialist ideology with Christian theology. They tackle tough questions: Is wealth inherently exploitative? Can markets exist under socialism? How should Christians approach justice and helping the poor? This thought-provoking discussion challenges bumper-sticker slogans and encourages viewers to love God and the poor with both heart and mind.

"Are you seeking great things for yourself? Don't do it!" Jeremiah 45:5 True spiritual maturity is not attained by self-confidence, but by increasing humility. The nearer a believer draws to Jesus, the more clearly he sees the infinite holiness of the Lord, and his own utter sinfulness. John Newton, the once-blind wretch who was made to see, captured this spiritual paradox with profound simplicity: "Young Christians think themselves little; growing Christians think themselves nothing; mature Christians think themselves less than nothing." The newborn Christian, freshly awakened by grace, is rightly humbled. He sees that he is not what he once was, and rejoices in the mercy that saved him. He thinks himself LITTLE--small compared to the greatness of the gift he's received. But as he grows, trials deepen, sin's deceitfulness is more fully exposed, and the battle against the 'old man' intensifies. The Christian begins to understand that in his flesh there dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18). He no longer thinks himself little--he thinks himself NOTHING. And yet, by this humbling, Jesus becomes more precious. Then, through years of chastening, refining, and communion with God, the mature believer--like Paul--confesses himself to be "less than the least of all God's people" (Ephesians 3:8). He realizes that even his best deeds are stained with sin, that all his righteousness is as filthy rags, and that apart from Jesus he is LESS THAN NOTHING. Yet this is not despair--it is joy. For the smaller he becomes in his own eyes, the greater Jesus becomes to his soul. This is the path of grace: downward in self, and upward in Jesus. The more we are emptied of self, the more we

In this podcast, J. Warner talks about four simple strategies to help strengthen the faith and understanding of young believers. How can parents help their children? Are our efforts little more than religious “indoctrination”? Jim also responds to two skeptical objections (in the wake of the Easter season) as examples of how to respond to the kinds of questions our kids may have.
Pesach and Doug sit down with the new Executive Director of the Philos Project, Luke Moon, and the conversation takes some interesting twists and turns. They start off with a discussion of the pro-Hamas protests at Columbia University, and a recent rally where Luke helped lead 5000 Christians in a pro-Israel march on its campus. As the conversation progresses, Luke argues that older Millenials are far more anti-Israel than Gen Z, while Doug and Pesach offer their own take on the reasons for that counterintuitive conclusion. They also talk about eschatology, politics, Trump, whether many Christians understand the importance of this historical moment, and much more. You'll enjoy this conversation, and perhaps leave with a little hope.

As we learned in our previous lesson on Acts and Hebrews, when Paul first began preaching this new message of salvation in Jesus, he began by showing how Jesus was the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. As he moves further away from Jerusalem and begins to preach to people who aren't as familiar with the Bible, he runs into both new questions and new challenges. Many of these are specific to the particular location he writes to and these letters to the Thessalonians are a good example of this as he confronts a new source of persecution that is political, not simply a religious disagreement. In the midst of this challenge, Paul encourages the young Christians with a reminder of the coming of Jesus and specific advice on how they ought to live as they wait for Him. In the lesson, we look at the familiar commands to “Pray continuously,” “Give thanks in all things,” and “Rejoice always” along with ideas on how to practice them in our lives. To help us remember these commands and the hope we have as we obey them, the lesson also has a link to a free download of the printable, “All will be well,” by Dame Julian. Jacob Munday and Jared Stewart join me for a broad conversation discussing key issues facing young Christians in today's society. I wanted to speak to two of my closest friends to get their take on how young people of faith can influence the world rather than being influenced by the world. Jacob and Jared shared really important and relatable insights. Some highlights from this episode are discussing the anti-Christian bias in Hollywood, what it's like to be in the British Pageant, how to understand feelings of guilt as a Christian, and more!—----Follow For All The Saints on social media and sign up to the newsletter for updates and inspiring weekly messagesFor All The Saints episodes are released every Monday on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and more.
