For decades, brands like Maytag or GE built their reputations on longevity and reliability, convincing consumers to pay a premium for their perceived quality. However, the landscape has dramatically changed. The rise of accessible e-commerce, exemplified by Amazon, has put a universe of products at our fingertips. Consumers now rely on crowdsourced reviews and rapid delivery to make purchasing decisions.
