The 2024 MotoGP title fight packed so many more twists into the Thai Grand Prix weekend even though it ended with Pecco Bagnaia only three points closer to Jorge Martin than he had been before Buriram. But the crashes, near-crashes, Marc Marquez interventions, lunges, attempts to stoke Bagnaia/Martin animosity, track limits mysteries and non-penalties all add up to plenty for Simon Patterson, Val Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer to debate on The Race MotoGP Podcast and plenty of questions that The Race Members' Club want answered. The stewards' handling of Franco Morbidelli's latest piece of wayward riding, Marquez's drama-filled grand prix, a frightening and bizarre Moto2 practice pitlane incident, Pedro Acosta's return to the podium (at Jack Miller's expense) and Andrea Iannone's likely return to MotoGP all feature too.Want more MotoGP podcast content? After Ducati and KTM, it's now Aprilia that can claim it's put together a 2025 MotoGP superteam after securing Marco Bezzecchi alongside Jorge Martin in its all-new factory line-up.But as Simon Patterson, Valentin Khorounzhiy and Matt Beer debate on The Race MotoGP Podcast, while signing the second and third placed riders from the 2023 world championship looks great on paper, there are definite question marks around whether this is all going to work.We also examine all the repercussions elsewhere in the field, from what happens at Aprilia satellite team Trackhouse - whose riders get very different responses from Aprilia boss Massimo Rivola - to whether the exodus of strong satellite riders from Ducati marks a significant end of an era and also why on earth it seems Joan Mir might want to prolong his Honda stint. And the World Superbike Championship has entered the MotoGP rider market in earnest too.

Ianez, all'anagrafe Andrea Iannone.

MotoGP has a new world champion: Suzuki's Joan Mir. Toby Moody and Simon Patterson reflect on the second race weekend at Valencia, where Mir was crowned for 2020. Simon explains why he was backing Mir much earlier in the season, and what Suzuki got right this year that no other team could. There's also a detailed look at what went wrong for Yamaha's main hopes in Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo, and how the latter's season has completely fallen apart. Toby also raises the question of if Valentino Rossi has become anonymous after single-handedly helping MotoGP to explode throughout the 21st century, and there are some crucial updates on Marc Marquez as it emerges he could even be in a race against time to be fit for the start of 2021. Plus we discuss Jorge Lorenzo's reaction to being replaced by Cal Crutchlow as Yamaha's test rider, and why Andrea Iannone was slapped with the maximum ban on the table in his doping case.

Can you win a MotoGP championship without winning a race? Toby Moody and Simon Patterson discuss everything going on in MotoGP from a busy first weekend at Aragon, which started with Valentino Rossi testing positive for COVID-19, and ended with what Simon believes could be a decisive moment in the championship battle in favour of Joan Mir, even though he hasn't claimed a win yet.Fabio Quartararo's disastrous tumble down the order is explained, as is Maverick Vinales' gamble for the race, Honda's change of fortunes with Alex Marquez, what's making Suzuki tick so well behind the scenes, plus the latest infighting at Ducati. We also look at the prospect of Andrea Dovizioso spending next year as a test rider, and if he could end up doing so with the number 1 on his bike! And despite Toby's frustrations with the whole saga of Andrea Iannone's doping case, Simon explains the latest developments, and how it's impacting what could happen next in the 2021 rider market.

Andrea Dovizioso's broken collarbone just weeks before the delayed start of the 2020 MotoGP season is the main topic of our latest podcast. Toby Moody and Simon Patterson discuss the latest on the situation of the man who has finished second in the championship for the last three years, how the injury could affect his 2020 season, and if it will have any influence on his place in the 2021 rider market. Talking of deals for the future, we round up the latest jigsaw pieces being put into place, including KTM's reshuffle that involves Danilo Petrucci riding a Tech3 bike next year. There's also discussion on the developments in Andrea Iannone's doping case, how the calendar looks so far, and Simon's take on journalists not being allowed to attend the early races of the season.

Andrea Iannone's 18-month ban for failing a drugs test is the subject of our latest MotoGP podcast, with Toby Moody and Simon Patterson discussing how a career that promised so much has come to what looks like an ignominious end. Simon details how Iannone ended up with the length of ban that he did, and we also take a look at the highs of the Italian's career, before detailing how things had spiralled downwards on-track even before this scandal kicked off late last year. Plus, Toby and Simon discuss the chances of Iannone ever riding at the top of the motorcycle racing pyramid again.
Last week Aprilia MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone was handed an 18-month competition ban for an anti-doping infringement, whilst he has maintained his innocence, claiming that ingestion of the steroid came from contaminated food. Why is this case not straightforward and what does it mean for MotoGP? Lewis Duncan and Oriol Puigdemont are on the case.

Paddock Pass Podcast - Motorcycle Racing - MotoGP - World Superbike
In this episode, Steve, David, and Neil give a preview of what is to come in the 2020 seasons for the MotoGP and WorldSBK Championships. The guys also look at some of the headlines that have developed in the off-season, including the doping results from Andrea Iannone.
With all factory contracts up for grabs for the 2021 season, this year’s MotoGP ‘silly season’ is set to be the series’ maddest yet. One of the biggest story arcs in shaping the 2021 grid will be what nine-time grand prix motorcycle racing world champion Valentino Rossi decides to do; will he retire or will he decide to extend his stay in MotoGP. In the first edition of the Tank Slappers podcast in 2020, Autosport’s Motorcycle Racing Correspondent Lewis Duncan is joined by Motorsport.com’s Global MotoGP Editor Oriol Puigdemont to discuss Rossi’s options and as well as Yamaha’s. They also delve into what Ducati needs to do to topple the MotoGP juggernaut of Marc Marquez and Honda, and discuss Aprilia’s current situation with Andrea Iannone, who was hit with an anti-doping ban over the winter.
Finally recovered from the flu, this is our last podcast recorded for 2019. In it we catch up on some interesting motorcycle news, starting with Andrea Iannone's anti-doping results (or lack thereof) from MotoGP. From there we jump into news from MotoAmerica that the Yoshimura Suzuki team will not be competing next year in the North American series, and we also talk about the pricing of the Honda CBR1000R-R Fireblade SP in the United Kingdom. We finish the show with an information dump from KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas and what it means to have Segway making electric motorcycles. Happy New Year, and we will see you in 2020!
Hello and welcome to E107 of Front End Chatter, Britain’s most biodegradable biking podcast, oralised by Martin Fitz-Gibbons and Simon Hargreaves, and supported and recycled by the green bins at bikesocial.co.uk and Bennetts, the bike insurance specialists. And in this fab, decidedly retrospective episode we have: under-achieving factory Aprilia rider Andrea Iannone is in trouble with the FIM after a urine sample is found to contain performance-enhancing drugs. Mr Iannone is understood to be seeking a refund from his dealer under the Consumer Rights Act as the year crawls to its conclusion like a slug looking for the exit sign, FEC goes back 12 months to watch ourselves gazing into our crystal balls and compares what we thought we’d be saying then to, er, now... ...and as the decade grinds to a crushing defeat we also look back at the trends and changes we’ve seen in motorcycling over the last ten years, the look forward to what’s to come in the next ten... plus more of your FEC-sack emails, including subjects as varied as helmets turning to cork, possibly thanks to corrosive perspiration, and/or adding a Best Before date to the lining, sat navs v smart phones part deux, semi-active Fireblade Öhlins v upgrading suspension, why some endurance race bikes have yellow headlights and much much more.... Thanks for listening, you’ve still been wonderful. Props to my man at bikesocial.co.uk – a tumescent repository of motorcycling wisdom – and Bennetts, whose insurance superstardom continues to include 10% off at Halfords on top of goodness knows what else. Please email your thoughts, queries, questions, musings and mitherings to: anything@frontendchatter.com Fank youse.

Do you take supplements? Are you absolutely certain there are no illicit or banned substances in them? How do you know?Andrea Iannone has almost failed a drug test, with his A-sample containing an anabolic steroid. BrotoGP has no idea what's going to happen to his career just yet. But first, Kev wants to set a few things straight. #1 - Its very possible to unknowingly consume a tainted supplement. #2 - PEDs would benefit motorcycle racing in more ways than you might think. This goes deep. After that, we hit up MotoAmerica's loss of the Yoshimura team, their replacement, and what this means for MotoAmerica. Then we talk about the new Superbike Cup and how its going to benefit the Superbike class and MotoAmerica as a whole.FDA list of tainted supplement products:https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/sda/sdNavigation.cfm?filter&sortColumn=3a&sd=tainted_supplements_cder&displayAll=true#drugtests #peds #andreaiannone

Only three things in life are certain, Death, Taxes, Marc Marquez winning at the Circuit of the Americas for the 6th time, and the 10th consecutive Marquez win in the USA. He fits in, he likes left turns. Anyway, we'll break down all the weekends action, from the blocking penalty that enraged Twitter, to Andrea Iannone's shock return to the podium, his first with Suzuki! Also more on Crutchlow's lost title lead, and the future of the race at COTA itself! We also talk Moto2 and Moto3 as Pecco Bagnaia broke Alex Marquez to take a hard-fought intermediate class victory, and Jorge Martin broke the tow of Enea Bastianini to take HIS 2nd win of 2018. All that with Andre Harrison, Louis Suddaby and special guest, the Hooniverse's Patrick Hoffstetter. Enjoy, and check back for Episode #57 on Tuesday!

Was würde zwei Wochen später passieren?

First up, before anything else, a hearty thank you to you, the #DreNation for supporting this show. This was originally a University project, and it scored at 80% yesterday, meaning I got a first! Seriously, I’m over the moon and I couldn’t have done this without my web designer Stephanie Hunter, my co-hosts Sascha Wagenblast, Gino Van Den Broceke, Scott Woodwiss and of course, my partner in crime, Ryan King. You all are amazing. In this stacked episode, we talk about all the recent F1 news, such as Raikkonen wanting more danger in F1, the fuel-saving and complaining about car difficulty and fuel saving after a mediocre Canadian GP, which we also review. We also tackle MotoGP in Mugello as Jorge Lorenzo strolled to a 3rd consecutive victory, ahead of a very lucky Andrea Iannone. We also talk about Simone Corsi’s idiocy against Sam Lowes in Moto2 and Miguel Oliviera’s first Moto3 victory, making history for Portugal. And we talk about IndyCar in Detroit and Texas as Carlos Munoz took his first IndyCar win, alongside Sebastian Bourdais in a thrilling Race 2, and Scott Dixon’s Texas 600 victory, as well as discuss THAT story about what happened when me and Sage Karam butted heads on Twitter… and I won. I should get a night with his girlfriend as a prize… But enjoy the longest Motorsport 101 show to date with me, Ryan King, and a new co-host in Downforce Radio’s own Louis Suddaby, my radio husband. Enjoy!
