Last year, Terakes was announced as part of Ironheart playing a key character in the show. Per usual, Marvel Studios is handling the show with maximum secrecy, but during our interview, Terakes was excited to share what being part of the Marvel family means to them. Here's what they said: “I think as trans people, growing up I didn't get to see myself anywhere, so I didn't really know that I existed. And especially not in a superhero show or movie. And so I think I just feel deeply grateful and moved that little trans kids and trans teens have something to look at and to know they exist and to know that they can have superpowers, and that that's where we belong. We don't just belong in trauma stories on the fringes dying in things, you know? We belong there with the big guys. So yeah, it meant a lot to me.” New Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYJk_yIRUQ4 Marvel Confirms Black Panther 2's Position on the MCU Timeline https://www.cbr.com/black-panther-2-mcu-timeline/ Disney+ has revealed exactly where Black Panther: Wakanda Forever lands on the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. Per Reddit, the streaming service has placed Wakanda Forever after Moon Knight and before She-Hulk: Attorney at Law in its Marvel Studios section called, "Marvel Cinematic Universe in Timeline Order." With Moon Knight taking place after Hawkeye, which took place around Christmas 2024, and She-Hulk being set during the summer of 2025, this means that the latest MCU movie is set in Spring 2025. Wakanda Forever actually provides clues to this Spring 2025 setting in the film, with the clothing and foliage seeming to indicate Spring as well as Riri Williams' differential equations class only being taught at MIT during the Spring semester. MARVEL COMICS Scarlet Witch Brings an MCU Sidekick Into the Marvel Universe - And She Has a Secret https://www.cbr.com/scarlet-witch-mcu-sidekick-darcy-marvel/ Marvel's most hexing Avenger is bringing along a new assistant on her journey of altruism, and it's a face that MCU fans will find familiar. In Scarlet Witch #1 (by Steve Orlando, Sara Pichelli, Elisabetta D'amico, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Cory Petit), the 616 universe is introduced to a specific character that, up until now, has only ever been seen onscreen as part of the cinematic version of Marvel universe. The character in question is none other than Darcy Lewis. Darcy's role in Wanda's new series remains a mystery. However, it is quickly established that, unlike her MCU counterpart, this Darcy has some dark secrets that she is running from. Whether Wanda can help her in this regard seems like it is being set up to be one of the central plot points of the series. Mira's Marvel pick is a funny and romantic Darcy Lewis/Loki fic by AnonymousMink. Notably, Darcy Lewis does it with Loki when he's in his true (frost giant) form, and it's actually kind of sweet. And we discover that frost giants are ribbed for her pleasure. We recorded this episode the day before the Loki Disney + show premiered, so enjoy our clueless speculation about what may be in the Loki series. Note: This is our second Marvel pick, but our first was lost to audio issues. So if we mention Abby's pick or Loki the "Marshmallow Boy" that's why. On Episode 6 of X-Ray Vision, Jason Concepcion and Rosie Knight go raving with a Symbiote! In Previously On… they discuss the absolute madness that is Sony's Venom: Let There be Carnage as well as the MCU reverberations of the film's stinger (1:12). Then, in The Airlock, they dive deep (deeeep) into the finale of the Disney+ show What If…? and the ongoing multiversal trials and tribulations of the MCU (34:21). Next, Jason cracks open the Omnibus to explore the origins and popularity of the symbiote suit that ultimately becomes Eddie Brock's Venom (1:00:25). In The Hive Mind, Jason chats with What If…? head writer A.C. Bradley and series director Bryan Andrews about Zombie Wanda, writing and directing animation, the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman, and drinking whisky while writing Darcy Lewis and Party Thor (1:19:33). In The Endgame, Jason and Rosie play Face Off, pondering the question of which characters (if any!) from across all franchises, properties, and universes could possibly defeat Infinite Ultron (1:39:28). Available on HBOMax. Don Quixote, published in two parts in 1605 and 1615 by Miguel de Cervantes, and widely considered one of the foundational literary texts of all time; it follows a nobleman (Don Quixote) who deliriously desires to become a chivalric knight of yore and looks for prospective damsels in distress to rescue with the aid of his squire, a peasant farmer named Sancho Panza. Available everywhere you can get a book (go for physical if you can). Gorr, The God Butcher, To be played by Christian Bale in the upcoming Taika Waititi directed fourth installment in the Thor franchise of the MCU - Thor: Love and Thunder. Minute Two: From Science to Sky Light In the second Jane-filled minute of Kenneth Branagh's 2011 film Thor... Jane Foster is an astrophysicist now, not a nurse. We've pointed this out before but just a reminder. It's not the same Jane as in the comics. We try to figure out what Jane is actually studying. The Aurora Borealis rarely appears in New Mexico, but we know Jane's recorded it 17 times so far. Based on the MCU Timeline, it seems like it's all pretty recent too. Darcy Lewis has grown so much in our estimation because of her appearance in WandaVision. We hope everyone feels the same. Kat Dennings gives such great eye roll. Just what is Jane actually working on? Erik Selvig watches Jane work. And we just love this character! But what's the history with him and Jane? There's not much here. Still, Stellan Skarsgård is always great to watch. Is what Jane's been tracking actually related to Asgard or is the upcoming Bifrost trip somehow connected to all of these auroras in New Mexico? Or do they just happen to coincide? And speaking of auroras, do auroras appear at such specific times? I mean seriously... Erik's awfully put off when it doesn't show up at the exact second. There's more in the script about Erik's and Jane's backstory. Sounds like he worked with her dad at some point. Darcy just seems sooooooo disinterested. We also run through the IMDb Game with Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård. Dang! They're all so busy! We have a great time covering all of these elements and more. Tune in! After defeating the Frost Giants, Odin discovers the abandoned infant Loki and returns him to Laufey. Years later, Odin's son Thor has become a boisterous, party-loving prince. While Odin sleeps and Frigga is away, Thor travels to Earth to host a large party with aliens from across the galaxy. His arrival attracts the attention of Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis, who join the party. As Thor and Foster grow close, acting S.H.I.E.L.D. director Maria Hill summons Carol Danvers to end the destruction caused by Thor's antics. Danvers is unable to defeat Thor without exerting her full power, so Lewis and Hill suggest she take the fight to a less populated area while Foster contacts Frigga with Heimdall's help. Hill readies a nuclear strike while Danvers and Thor begin to battle again, but Frigga contacts them and says she is coming. Thor and the party-goers clean up the mess before she arrives. Later, Thor asks Foster on a date but is interrupted by an army of drones, led by Ultron in Vision's body and wielding all six Infinity Stones.
In this universe, Thor is an only child because Odin & Frigga never adopted Loki, who was instead raised by his biological parents as the Crown Prince of Jotunheim. Without Loki's influence, Thor grew to be a party boy instead of a hero. While his mother is away, Thor travels to Midgard to headline an intergalactic party and meets Dr. Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis, who tried to alert S.H.I.E.L.D. of Thor's arrival. Thor and his countless minions party hard all over Earth, creating problems for SHIELD and interim director Maria Hill. Loki and his Jotun entourage also join the party, encouraging Thor's reckless behavior. SHIELD enlists the aid of Captain Marvel to subdue Thor & the partygoers, but using her full power could do serious harm on earth. So Jane ultimately contacts Frigga via Heimdall, and Thor cleans up his global mess in time to avoid punishment from his mother. But a villainous version of Vision shows up at the very end, leaving us to wonder his motive. Episode 7 stars Jeffrey Wright, Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Frank Grillo, Taika Waititi, Karen Gillan, Frank Grillo, Seth Green, Rachel House, Jaimie Alexander, Josette Eales, Alexandra Daniels, and Clancy Brown. It's a fun brawl that features portals, punches, and a very epic smack 'em up (this term is invented during the episode). Enjoy!

What time travel paradox? For the first time in thirteen years, Maggie and V share a pairing and whaddya know, our Patreon donor of the week shares it, too. This week, we’re discussing the fandom juggernaut of Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes (Marvel’s Captain America and the Winter Soldier) through the lens of heroic male love--and no great hero ever ends up happy. Plus, lots of love for fictional lady Darcy Lewis and real-life woman Jenny Slate, some silly fannish terms, and one very cute dog.
Moira and KJ are joined once again by guest-host Lila (find her on instagram at lilbajstudios, redbubble: lilbaj). After realizing she’s been missing since The Snap, they put out an All Points Bulletin for Maria Hill-where is she?! Lila and KJ pitch some new project ideas for Marvel, including A Day in the Life of New Asgard featuring Valkyrie and a Drunk History style show narrated by Luis following the adventures of Jimmy Woo and Dr. Darcy Lewis. In addition to talking about some of Marvel’s female heroes and fans, the conversation must be had-who is worthy of the power of Thor, and who can or can’t lift Mjolnir?

Captain Monica Rambeau, an agent of S.W.O.R.D., returns to life following the Blip[b] to find her mother Maria has died of cancer. Three weeks later, Monica returns to work and is sent by Acting Director Tyler Hayward to help FBI agent Jimmy Woo with a missing persons case in Westview, New Jersey. They discover a hexagonal static CMBR field surrounding the town, which Monica is pulled into. Within 24 hours, S.W.O.R.D. establishes a base around the town and sends drones and an agent in to investigate. Dr. Darcy Lewis studies the phenomena and discovers broadcast signals for the sitcom WandaVision. They use these to observe events inside the town, learning that real residents have been "cast" in the sitcom and seeing Monica appear as "Geraldine". Darcy and Jimmy unsuccessfully attempt to use the radio to contact Wanda. When Monica mentions Ultron, Wanda casts her out of the town. Wanda then temporarily sees Vision appear as he did when he died, before settling back into her sitcom life with him.
In this episode Mark talks about the 2021 American television miniseries "WandaVision" created by Jac Schaeffer for the Disney+ streaming service. Set within the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series features Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (played by Paul Bettany). Taking place after the events of the 2019 film "Avengers: Endgame", the premise of the series revolves around Wanda Maximoff dealing with her grief after losing the love of her life, Vision, and her wish to revive Vision in some form so that they can live an idyllic American suburban life - which ultimately leads Wanda to take control of the town of West Westview, New Jersey, and its citizens in order for Wanda and Vision to live a life based upon the sitcom television shows that Wanda watched and enjoyed with her family as a young child. However not all is as it seems within the reality that Wanda creates, and the outside world - who are able to observe Wanda and Vision's interactions within their isolated hexagaonal-shaped reality - wish to discover why Wanda is doing what she is doing and they are also looking for a way to stop her before she causes any more harm than good. The series also stars Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, Josh Stamberg as S.W.O.R.D. Director Tyler Hayward, as well as a great cast of phenomenonal other actors. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/message
On this episode Zac and Ben sit down to discuss WandaVision immediately after it concluded. They look back on all nine episodes of the groundbreaking series and reveal what they loved, and also what they didn't love about them. Those include the massive "Scarlet Witch" reveal, Vision and his white Doppelgänger, the return of Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis, and the introduction of a superpowered Monica Rambeau. They also touch on the inclusion of the Darkhold, the various sitcom homages, and, of course, ♫ "It was Agatha all along!" ♫ They also debate their complicated feelings on the series finale, especially a certain disappointing reveal. Plus, later Ben shares his thoughts on the new DC series Superman & Lois and describes a BBQ themed scene for #BBQWatch. Listen for all that and much more! 0:00 Intros and what we’re into 14:10 WandaVision We at Krypton to Alderaan believe it is important to shed light on bigotry and injustice and to actively participate against it. Recently, a Star Wars castmember was fired due to their ignorance and bigotry. In response, a group of great and wonderful Star Wars fans created a GoFundMe: Trans Rights Are Human Rights: This is the Way to benefit the Transgender Law Center. So far, they have raised over $20,000. To show support to the Trans community, Krypton to Alderaan has made a donation and we encourage anyone out there listening to do the same. To quote the GoFundMe page: “let’s flood the Star Wars community with support, love, and vibrance for all gender identities.” Episode 23: This episode we talk about episodes 7 and 8 of Marvel’s new Disney+ series, WandaVision. In episode 7, we get a great team-up in Vision and Darcy Lewis! And! We learn the Kathryn Hahn’s character Agnes the neighbor is none other than Agatha Harkness! Not only that, but we get the best mini theme song there’s ever been.* *This opinion does not necessarily reflect those of all Krypton to Alderaan hosts. How do we feel about that reveal? Is it too late? Does it take away from the magnitude of Wanda’s grief as the catalyst of events? Interesting questions! In episode 8, we learn that maybe it wasn’t really Agatha all along… We get a deep dive into Wanda’s psyche and tragic past. She has had. It. Rough. Did she always have powers? Is this a retcon? Why is Agatha there? Is this emotionally powerful? Yes. Our answers to all these, and more! Tuen in! As usual, we have a surprise question - so stick around until the end! Thanks for listening! We would really like to know how people who are listening feel about the show so, if you could/want to, drop us a line @kryptonalderaan or at kryptontoalderaan@gmail.com. Give us a quick email or tweet and let us know how we’re doing. We’d really appreciate the feedback and it would help us to understand this whole podcasting thing going forward. It's time for a trip down memory lane as Eduardo, Peach3z, Chris, and Robbie discuss the penultimate episode of the Marvel Studios Disney+ series WANDAVISION, "Previously On." Agatha Harkness takes Wanda and viewers on a journey through Wanda's past to try to get to the bottom of the Westview Anomaly, and we learn that things have not always been as they've seemed. Along the way, they talk a lot about grief, the nature of fan theories, and comic book writers who seem not to like the characters they're writing about.
In another Marvel Cinematic Universe themed episode, Mark talks about the 2013 American superhero film "Thor: The Dark World" directed by Alan Taylor. The sequel to the 2011 film "Thor" and the 2012 "The Avengers", the premise of the film concerns the Marvel character Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) and his struggle to defend and protect his love interest, astrophysicist Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman), from the diabolical leader of the Dark Elves, Malekith (played by Christopher Eccleston), after she absorbs a weapon known as the Aether - which, when all the Nine Realms are aligned, could be used by the Dark Elves to bring about a prolonged period of darkness throughout the entire universe. Tom Hiddelston once again stars as Thor's adoptive brother, the trickster god, Loki; Anthony Hopkins once again stars as Odin, the King of Asgard and father to Thor and Loki; Stellan Skarsgård once again stars as Dr. Erik Selvig; Irish Elba once again stars as Heimdall; Kat Dennings stars as Darcy Lewis; Jamie Alexander stars as Sif; and Rene Russo once again stars as Frigga, mother to both Thor and Loki; and there also many other cameos from some great actors. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/markthepoet/message

Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer 2 Reactions and Breakdown - Undisputed Studios Podcast
My girlfriend and I record our very first podcast as we review WandaVision Episode 7: Breaking the Fourth Wall. We talk theories as well as review each scene of the episode, including Monica Rambeau, Wanda and Vision's Modern Family, and the arrival of Agatha Harkness! We also discuss whether Dr. Darcy Lewis serves a purpose on the show, Monica's 1-foot superhero landing, and rant about how Monica came to an abrupt realization about Westview. Washy and Lucy have arrived in the podcast world and we're here to talk all things Agatha's nose!
What's the deal with Pietro? Wanda Maximoff's dearly departed brother is back, sort of, but she has doubts and so do we! Meanwhile, Vision is ready to turn his skepticism and worry into a full-blown investigation. Outside of Westview, Monica Rambeau, Jimmy Woo, and Darcy Lewis are battling against Acting Director Hayward over the best way for SWORD to approach Wanda and The Hex. Billy and Tommy, naturally, are caught in the middle! Let's keep the spoiler reviews going! Hosted by Sean Gerber and Paul Hermann. Follow MCU Fan Show on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
In this episode of the Fandom Hybrid Podcast, the FHP crew discuss episodes 3 & 4 of WandaVision, how it ties into the existing Phase I of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and speculate of where it may lead in Phase II. In Episode 3, Wanda and Vision deal with the unexpected complications of Wanda's exceptionally quick pregnancy journey. Vision takes notice of the strange happenings around him. The pregnancy causes Wanda's powers to spiral out of control. The neighbors drop hints that all is not well in Westview. Wanda grows nostalgic remembering her lost twin. Geraldine casually (and accidentally) blows her cover. Wanda regains control of the situation. In Episode 4, the victims of Thanos' snap are restored. Monica Rambeau adjusts to life post-Blip. A last minute assignment turns into a life-altering event. Agent Woo and DOCTOR (!) Darcy Lewis team up to solve the mysteries of Westview. Wanda's secret is revealed. A threat is eliminated from Westview. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fandomhybridpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fandomhybridpodcast/support
If you thought getting dusted was chaotic, how about all those people getting "undusted" suddenly, all across the universe? Monica Rambeau experiences it and immediately has to come to grips with what's happened and decides to deal with her mom's death by working through it. Unfortunately, her first case is a missing person's case and she quickly becomes one herself. We get to see "behind-the-scenes" in a way, as episode 4 sees S.W.O.R.D. posing the same questions we all have about the show. How meta! Darcy Lewis is now a "doctor", Agent Woo is a magician, and we're REALLY not sure about Director Hayward...or Wanda. Vision is feeling a bit gray, Agent Franklin brings in the bees on his knees, and Captain Rambeau gets back to flying, just not the way she had hoped. It's a clip sparse podcast, which means a lot of Host Steve Loscalzo's voice, but we'd love to hear what you think. Feedback would be fantastic! 0:31 Alex WardDo you think the title Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness is a nod to the HP Lovecraft novel "In the Mountains of Madness"? If so, do you think we could see some Lovecraftian-inspired horror in the Nightmare realm and others, such as Cthulhu and the like? Similarly, do you think we'll see Shuma-Gorath show up? He's a pretty Lovecraft-esque Doctor Strange character.1:33 Steven 84 and Gio(Steven) Some noticed that Black Panther 2 was announced for May 2022, while Marvel's February 2022 date was skipped over. Do you think the film for this date was not part of the presentation at D23 because that film will be an adult leaning film like Blade or Deadpool, and they didn't want to send the message to younger fans at a Disney event that they should get their parents to let them see it?(Gio) Wouldn't the February release be further along in development? Do you believe there is a reason to keep that one hidden? If it was a sequel I don't see why not just reveal it, unless it's a brand new franchise. MS has been taking that approach with introducing brand new franchises early in the year (CM, BP, Shang-Chi). If it is a brand new franchise for MS, who would you guess?7:42 Anthony LawreyI can't be the only one that's confused on the plan for WandaVision. D23 confirmed that Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo will be in the series, SDCC confirmed Monica Rambeau and IMDB says that John Walker and Sharon Carter are in it as well...how? What's the story here?10:09 Phil HanSean. Any word on if the Disney+ shows are going to be like Netflix or the way DC does it on their service? Will all the episodes be released at once for each series, or one episode a week?10:48 Kerry VanderbergUp until Endgame, the movies mostly took place in real-time, but now they have the 5 year time jump. What are the benefits that you think this provides for the storytelling in the MCU?14:42 DavidGreetings Sean. I found myself pleasantly surprised to be snapped out of my Spider-Man funk by the casting announcement of Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, a.k.a. The Black Knight, in Eternals. With not having the richest comic book history, I'm excited to see what Marvel Studios will do with this character as I think he has a great deal of potential. As he is not himself an Eternal, I'm curious what you think his role will be in the film.16:23 Zack ButsonHow well do you think the news of Spidey not being in the MCU has/will permeate the general audience? Will the moviegoing public still go to Spidey movies thinking they are part of the MCU, will the “in association” intro be really be enough? Do you think a dip in box office should be expected?23:49 LincIs it time that we start calling the MCU the "Marvel Studios Universe", now that the "C", for "Cinematic" is going to rapidly become less relevant, as the next 3 years gives us 5 movies, so 11ish hours in the cinema, and 8 series, so 60ish hours of home entertainment, rivalling the cinematic hours to date?25:57 Mookie JohnsonDo you think that Disney and Sony could work out a smaller agreement for a character like Kraven to show up in Black Panther 2, or maybe another Spider-Man villain show up in other MCU film or have the current state of the Spider-Man talks proven that impossible?29:26 Anthony LawreyLet's say Sony/Marvel don't strike a deal and Spider-Man 3 is only under control by Sony. What is it that scares you so much about the fate of Spider-Man 3? I understand the trust issues with Sony's portrayal of the character in the past has something to do with it but I'm trying to set that aside.35:29 Mookie JohnsonHypothetically, If Sony and Disney strike a Spider-Man deal within a few months, what's your best guess for when it hits theaters based on available information?35:58 Cory KostiukHey Sean hope all is well. With the deal between Sony and Disney over for the time being do you think Sony can use the Disney designed Spiderman suit? Also how do you thinking Spiderman will go about getting his suits without access to Stark tech?38:17 David RosenIf we don't get captain marvel 2 before the premiere of Ms Marvel, how do you see them going about making the connection between those two characters considering how little earth has seen of captain marvel so far?41:29 Cory KostiukHey Sean what are your thoughts on a Moon Knight and Deadpool team up movie?42:05 EdAssuming there are going to be kids in WandaVision, would you expect those kids to be Wiccan and Speed, or Viv and Vic? Or even different kids entirely?43:27 LincWould you rather see the X-Men come into the MCU in a splashy all in one film, or slowly introduce mutants in, and unite them under Xavier later, allowing an Avengers-esque culmination in an actual Uncanny X-Men movie? Or a third option?46:12 BrentacPrimeI've seen reports of a tug of war going on for Jon Watts between the MCU and Sony. If you were given the choice to pick his next projext, would you want him to stay on Spider-Man to keep as much consistency for Holland's movies as possible, or would you prefer to have him stay in the MCU but on a new project?49:23 BrentacPrime When Kamala Kahn is introduced but isn't an inhuman, do you think they would retcon that in the comics? Part of me wonders if they will have her be a mutant and join the X-Men.50:14 Mookie JohnsonWho would you pick to lead a Champions/ Young Avengers team based on current outlook?52:10 GioDo you mind going into a bit more detail on the Red Guardian costume from the BW footage? From how little you saw of it how does the costume compare to the Captain America costumes, since RG is Russia's answer to CA, or also to the comic books?53:05 GioWho do you believe or want to see as the antagonist in WandaVision and why? 54:23 GioWhenever the X-Men are introduced, to give it some variety and to make it a bit different from the Fox X-Men, do you think they would opt for X-23 (Laura Kinney) as the MCU Wolverine instead of Logan? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
