As a proud Jewish-American, Draiman has always been vocal about his heritage and unwavering support for Israel. During his trip, he had the opportunity to interact with IDF soldiers, expressing his gratitude for their service and dedication to protecting the nation. This visit not only strengthened Draiman's connection to his roots but also served as a powerful symbol of solidarity between the artist and the Israeli military forces. His presence undoubtedly boosted the morale of the troops, reminding them of the global support they receive, especially from influential figures like Draiman who use their platform to advocate for Israel's security and well-being.” (Perplexity)

There's an old saying in the streaming radio business ; you have forever to organize your first show, but you only have 1330 days to prepare for your 190th. I'm no making excuses, far from it. I've always been the type to embrace a challenge, even with the clock ticking, so to speak. And I'm pretty sure I'd not be able to successfully complete such monumental tasks were it not for the example and inspiration provided by Dave Draiman's PR team, whom never, ever, take a week off. Kind of like me.
Motivated by compassion and hope, and the shared desire to make the world a better place, the immense amount of charitable giving stands as a testament to the humanity's collective generosity. From aiding those in need to supporting noble causes in art and science, culture and religion, the act of giving has the power to transform lives and shape a brighter future. But amidst the goodwill, there lies a shadowy underbelly that seeks to exploit our altruistic impulses. The landscape of charitable giving is not without its challenges, as scams and deceit work to dilute the noble intentions of well-meaning donors. Mr. Draiman checks in to talk about the new Disturbed record, tour, working with Ann Wilson, his health, 2024, and much more!
LOOKING 4 LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES, LOOKING 4 LOVE IN TOO MANY FACES. With sincere apologies to Johnny Lee, post-divorce has been a rough ride for Disturbed vocalist David Draiman and who amongst us cannot sympathize. It seems like a blown opportunity for Blabbermouth not to launch their own dating app, but instead let's focus on how we can help David meet that special someone. If you're interested in a casual or long-term relationship with the voice and mind behind 2000's "Down With The Sickness", please forward your photograph (SFW only, please) and your turn-ons/turn-offs to this program's headquarters and I promise all materials will be forwarded by hand (ANALOG STYLE) to a trusted member of Team Draiman. Please enjoy this week's program, despite the mental image of David Draiman scrolling thru a dating site. He's baaaaaack! We are covering our favorite nu-metal Capital-G Guy for the third time on this show (including bonuses), as David Draiman and Disturbed make their triumphant return to the podcast in our review of "Believe", the band's second studio album. It turns out that we end up spending a LOT of time talking about THEIR Capital-G Guy, their logo, who is called...well, he's called "The Guy". What started as a smiley face ends up the star of a comic book as "The Vengeful One", a story so insane it prompts Bryan to buy the comic book they based off of this character in the middle of the episode. And boy is this episode everything you expect, as we both start out liking the album and then it takes a back-half turn into a bunch of songs with B-side flavor and we predictably turn on it. We also watch one of our favorite video clips of Draiman discussing songwriting, he tells MTV how this album has him "naked on a platter", and he bemoans his status as a rockstar God, serving as some sort of proto-Drake. It's a great time. If you want more of a great time, head on over to patreon.com/thepodkast, where $4 a month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month! Last month, we covered Drowning Pool's "Sinner: 13th Anniversary Edition" with our friend Kevvy, and you also get access to our Discord, merch discounts, and two special singles episodes each month too. Plus, if you got the cash, you can tell us what to cover for an episode! It's a great deal! Check it out now.

In this Episode of Crue Cast, a podcast is all about the most infamous band in rock history Motley Crue! Jason talks the support Disturbed lead singer David Draiman has shown Vince Neil. DISTURBED's David Draiman has praised Vince Neil for his performances so far on MÖTLEY CRÜE's stadium tour, saying the singer is "sounding good" and "looking healthy". Neil has been receiving mixed reviews for his vocal performances on "The Stadium Tour", with one reviewer saying that he is sounding "better than he did" in 2015, and another suggesting that Neil's "vocal shortcomings" are being "largely covered by red and white lights and sheer adrenaline." A third reviewer concurred, saying that CRÜE's concerts on "The Stadium Tour" are "so loud [that] it could be hard to hear" Neil over the music, adding that "perhaps that's by design." Draiman took to his Twitter to write: "Proud of @thevinceneil . Videos I've seen of the stadium tour have been great. Sounding good, looking healthy. Good for you brother. Keep knocking em dead @MotleyCrue". One musician who agreed with Draiman was RATT singer Stephen Pearcy, who responded to David's tweet. "Agree, brother @thevinceneil @MotleyCrue still kickin' ass!" he wrote. "Still doing what we've always done (we're gladiators, what works for us might not seem right for everyone) who else has been singing, screamin, yellin at people for 35 plus yrs. Not an easy job, its a dirty job." A short time later, Draiman wrote in response to Pearcy: "If it were easy…everyone would do it (maybe not lol). Gotta keep that torch raised high". On July 6, Draiman took to his Twitter to write: "All you parasitic vultures pretending to be journalists who broke the 'big story' that Vince Neil/ @MotleyCrue uses a teleprompter onstage should really find a new line of work. SO FUCKING WHAT? Most artists with extensive catalogs do. Leave the guy alone FFS." Back in 2016, Neil was asked in an interview with Palm Springs Life how he "still hits those higher registers" after all these years and what he does to keep his voice in shape. He responded: "I have an old road singer/saloon singer mentality. I love performing; that's what I do. I'm thrilled to be there, and I've done it so much. Younger, up-and-coming singers will say, 'Hey, Mr. Neil, what do you do?' And I say, 'Don't do what I do, for God's sake!' I go in a bathroom, and [yells], 'Hey! Heyyyyy!!!' I scream. Even the guys in [my solo] band go, 'What the fuck?' I do the worst thing you probably should, but it works for me. Everybody has a thing that works for them — but what I do for myself, I wouldn't suggest." He continued: "It's been bulletproof over the years. Everybody gets sick sometimes and gets laryngitis, but I've been pretty lucky, especially in that higher-register stuff. And we don't back away from it. It's exactly where all the original tunings were. I understand a lot of people don't want to do that, but if someone calls something out, I go, Fuck it! Let's do it!'" Thank you for listening to Crue Cast!

Together with American Songwriter, we had the pleasure of interviewing Hyro The Hero over Zoom video! Better Noise recording artist Hyro The Hero today releases his new single “We Believe” featuring rock legend, David Draiman.Over a turbulent riff, Hyro decries “internet activists” with a venomous flow before launching a caustic and catchy call-and-response with Draiman on the hook. Chillingly, it culminates on a scream of, “I can’t breathe.” “It’s actually about hope,” he states. “We all have decisions to make. Everybody pulls you one way or the other. You have to pick the lesser of two evils in all situations. Personally, I’m trying to find a way. I can’t believe I’m rapping on a song with David, but I really can’t believe I’m singing a song with him. It’s a special moment, because I tried something new with my voice.”Draiman explains of the collaboration “I’m incredibly honored. Hyro is a truly amazing artist and I had a blast working with him. This track is exactly what the world needs right now. It’s time to believe again.”The video for the track was directed by Matt Mahurin, an award-winning filmmaker, photojournalist and illustrator who has had work in Time Magazine, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Esquire and more. His unique vision is the visual merging of the raw poetry of the rapper with the raw power of the rocker. Hyro and Draiman representing the duality of our daily lives. While the video explores the world’s struggles, the final message is one of not only revealing the fear, anger, and intolerance of humanity’s worst, but also reveling in the joy, love, and power of change through humanity’s best.As hard rock and hip-hop co-mingle more than ever before, the time feels right for Hyro The Hero. After non stop touring in support of his last album, Hyro dove right into the studio with producer Matt Good [Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, From First To Last]. Under a flurry of inspiration, they recorded an entire album over the course of just two weeks. In the process, he expanded his sound dramatically.“You can see and hear the growth in this album,” he says. “I had to go through everything that brought me to this point and I’ve really learned how to focus on storylines and approach records structurally and lyrically. All of my experience built up respect to work with some of my heroes on the new material.” He grins and says, “I want to have my name in this game for a lifetime.”With this new music, he’s well on his way to such a status.Find Hyro The Hero on social media:SPOTIFY INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK TIK TOKWe want to hear from you! It's a return to that classic Nu-Metal sound on this week's episode of Roach Koach, as Jenny, Lorin, and Matt listen to 40 Below Summer and their major label debut, Invitation to the Dance. Topics discussed: The Juggalo Hundo, a peak behind the curtain, “Is this too metal for Lorin?”; The Nu-Metal Dumpster, Clown's production style, searching for a Hot Open, “I didn't need a smoothboy”, cribbing from the Draiman playbook, The Rocket Summer, 3 Doors Down connection, “I'm not here to dance, I'm here to grind.”; “I've been punched during this song numerous times”, gonzo, vocal fry, watch your ass around 40 Below Summer, Quiff porn, regretting a pit activation, and of course the decision on whether 40 Below Summer deserve a spot in the Nu-Metal Canon. Can anyone ever rid themselves of The Sickness? That is one of many questions Jenny, Lorin and Matt are asking on this week's episode of the Roach Koach Podcast as they listen to Disturbed's sophomore release, Believe. Also discussed: Who's Tweeting, respectful conversations in lobbies, The Roach Koach Appeal, Linkin Park vs their fans, Jenny's “nerd” vindication, where is The Guy?; Matt Naas facial expressions, where is the dumb fun?; “I'm thinking Butt Rock”, “Pre-chorus can get you pregnant”, the grit in Draiman's voice, “Draiman is considered a genius”, thoughtful lyrics, “This song reminds me of washing dishes”, what happens when someone takes one philosophy class, Jenny and Lorin list their celebrity invites for the live show, and of course, they decide whether Disturbed deserve another slot in the Nu-Metal Canon. Roach Koach Live is fast approaching! Wednesday, June 7th, 2017, 9 pm at Go Comedy Improv Theater in Ferndale MI. Get your tickets today! Like the show? Dez Fafara puts in his second appearance on the podcast. DevilDriver's new record Trust No One will be the first in a decade with new personnel playing and writing music for the band. We talk in depth about Dez's work ethic, his view of the lineup changes, what that means for this album and the band going forward and how his attitude changes without negative influences working against him. We also get to hear David Draiman go after a fan in the audience who he claimed was texting the entire show. Although the woman says she was texting her scared daughter, and Draiman apologized, was he in the right for calling out someone for not paying attention to the show? Or is he in the dark about how audiences operate in the new world order? The time may be here to put away the phones, stop texting at shows and experience the reality of... reality. Brutal Delicious Audio from Disturbed's lead singer, David Draiman! He shames a girl who's been on her phone the entire show. She dies from embarrassment, we're pretty sure. #DeliciousAudio #DaveDraiman #shaming #concerts #cellphoneshaming #Disturbed #metalhead #girlfriendproblems #altlakecity

Well, well, well. I have to apologize for us taking so long between the previous episode and this one. On account of a corrupt file that wiped our recording from a month ago... Still a little steamed about that. Anyway, First our thanks have to go to our guest for this episode Matt from the group Kinetech Forge check out their facebook page to see the great work they do. https://www.facebook.com/kinetechforgepgh and here's him showing off the talent that they've got working for them. https://www.facebook.com/kinetechforgepgh/photos/a.693977973986176.1073741834.685713318145975/693979580652682/?type=3&theater So next up is that we hit on a lot of topics this episode, Where we at times in the past have spent much more time on topics, tonight was a rapid fire barrage. Speaking of a Bharaj (pronounced the same) Jennie Bharaj is one of the most outspoken female voices from within #GamerGate, and she wants to have a website made by us, for us. So if you have some spare cash to spend this Christmas check out her indigogo campaign for BasedGamer.com click the link here, and give till it feels good. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/basedgamer-com Also you can see why she has such a passion about these issues and if you're a guy get a female perspective with someone that is fighting for the same possitive changes to be made as you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqwLyjcQ6SU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBSz6kSyzX8 The panel Q&A of this years Game Developer Conference that was titled "How to Insidiously & Subversively Queer Your Games" http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1020372/How-to-Subversively-Queer-Your So take that for what that is. I subjected myself to this Bullshit to better know my enemies As Sun Tsu's The Art of war teaches. That if you know your enemy you can fight countless battles without fear of loss. So since I know what Todd Harper's Idea for a unique character, I shit you not. "A half shaven head, purple haired, transgendered, latina, woman" Because a Straight white male marine isn't interesting enough apparently. By a show of hands, How many Marines in the service currently would fall into Todd Harper's version of reality? Or his take on how combat could be queered, Once again I shit you not. "Instead of having your combat be like Bro I'm gonna sword you in the face until you don't have a face left cause it's on my sword. Let them hug it out, competitively hug it out, or dance it off" ... WHAT THE FUCK! Then it's no longer combat you fucking simpleton! Anyway before I go off on another profanity laced rant, moving on. And the lunacy doesn't end there... just look at the headline of the verge article. http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/13/7213819/your-bowling-shirt-is-holding-back-progress wow, some of these people should be classified as a danger to society and shouldn't be able to feed themselves with the use of regular utensils. Oh yeah David Draiman you know the frontman from Disturbed has recently came out in favor of Gamer Gate. I've seen on his twitter feed as well he's not afraid to throw down in an intellectual debate with the SJW's that attack him for in their minds supporting a hate group. He shuts them down and makes them run home with their tails between their legs and cry to momma. Good work on you, So tonight all the bumper music is from disturbed. Listen carefully to the lyrics from the songs that I've chosen for this episode as they are completely applicable. and in order are Bound from the Believe EP Ten Thousand Fists from the Ten Thousand Fists EP Liberate from the Believe EP Indestructible from the Indestructible EP Violence Fetish from The Sickness EP Down With the Sickness from The Sickness EP I would've included more if we went longer but for now I'm happy with how the edits worked out. Some of the other topics that we tackle are regarding Mighty #9, Capcom Going Street Fighter V exclusive to the PS4 and PC. Don't worry in a few weeks after it's launch they'll release some variation of "Super Ultra Street Fighter V Championship Arcade EX edition." and that one won't be exclusive since it won't be the same game. I vent my frustrations about Assassin's Creed Unity and the over reliance on the inter-connectivity of the Companion app on your phone, and the AC Initiates website. I just want to play the fucking game, without being distracted by my phone and my computer trying to share face time. Target & KMart in Australia caved to feminist pressure and wont sell GTA V for the new consoles anymore. A Lot of sex acts can't be depicted in the UK any longer. Yet the argument that's always made by the SJW crowd is that it's not about censorship... sure looks like censorship to people with a functioning frontal lobe. So I think I listed everything that we cover in this episode, if not I'm sorry. Regardless check us out on facebook and like our page there since I'm not constrained to 140 characters I can let my mind just go and post extended opinions and write novels. Disturbed was part of the amazing lineup of Mayhem Fest during the summer of 2008. I sat down with lead singer David Draiman in his dressing room a few hours before they hit the stage. His intelligence and demeanor impressed me quite a bit. This guy is one the smartest people I've ever met and despite his great success has absolutely no ego issues. He rocks!
