Today's show opens with the media continuing to perpetrate their latest “firing squad” hoax over the weekend. Even when it's been debunked, all they have left are the hoaxes, lies and name-calling that has become the central message for the Harris-Walz campaign. Whether on the Sunday news shows, Barrack Obama at a rally, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY), or The Morning Joe, it's all they have left. It's become their identity. In the meantime, thanks to Elon Musk's freedom of speech stance, citizen journalists and investigators are catching more and more voter fraud and irregularities and are able to force local authorities to address it. Before, these stories would be swept under the rug. Not anymore. Kamala Harris gives us another example of how she is scripted, even down to her reactions to separate crowds and events. They can literally play on top of each other and sound the same. On top of that, she refused to weigh-in on Prop 36 in California, her home state, which is designed to increase criminal penalties for shoplifters and drug traffickers. I thought she was supposed to be all for “law and order” now? The FCC gave Trump a gift after NBC knowingly broke the fair-use law and promoted both Kamala Harris and Tim Kaine on Saturday Night Live. They knew it is so close to the election, there would be no way to give trump equal time. So, the FCC Commissioner gave Trump equal time on Sunday Night Football. CNN ran a story about how the Harris campaign says one thing about Israel to the Pennsylvania audience, but the polar opposite message to Michigan. Now, why would that be? And it's interesting to see CNN run what amounts to a hit-piece on her. Victor Davis Hanson reminded us about the long-list of the “unusual events” that have been levied against Trump over the last several years. Danica Patrick actually referenced this same thought in her speech at at Trump rally in Lititz, PA. We close with a horrible story of what happens when an Authoritarian state gets so big that common sense is not allowed to factor into any situation. Peanut the squirrel, an internet star and marketing mascot for an animal rescue in New York was forcibly removed (along with a raccoon) and put to death because of a complaint from some Woke idiot in Texas. They treated the couple like they were drug traffickers. It's a terrible reminder of what will happen if the Harris-Walz regime were to be allowed to run the country for the next four years. Today's show opens with testimony given by Aaron Heitke, Former Chief Patrol Agent, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol that they were supposed to hide numbers of known terrorists crossing the border. Additionally, he states they were asked to re-prioritize resources away from drug detection to help process more people via detention centers. In another undercover operation, Dr. Jay Varma, Former Senior Advisor for Public Health NYC Mayor's Office, 2020-21, is caught talking about attending sex and drug parties in the midst of the mandatory lockdowns he convinced the mayor to implement. The FCC Commissioner, Brendan Carr, testified to Congress about the sheer fraud, waste and abuse in the push to bring high-speed internet to rural Americans. Our government prefers to play petty politics and waste taxpayer money. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants us to believe Kamala Harris was selected in an “open primary.” The gaslighting here is beyond reproach. We know why they removed Biden and installed her and no matter how much she lies, she cannot rewrite history no matter how hard she tries. The Teamster rank-and-file are overwhelming in support of Donald Trump. The UAW is seeing the same result. This may explain why Rep. Susan Wild asked that union members be offered $100 to attend rallies in support of Kamala Harris. While Harris is trying out a new Latino accent, Latino radio jocks, interviewed by CNN, say their listeners are “not with her” and believe the economy was better under Trump and they want him back for that reason. The number of internet-connected devices in the world has skyrocketed. According to one estimate, there are currently 17 billion connected devices in the world. This doesn't just include well known electronics like laptops and smartphones. These devices span every sector of the global economy—from agriculture and manufacturing to healthcare and science. The average American household now has 17 connected devices. While this growth has been a boon for jobs and the tech sector, it has also dramatically increased cybersecurity risk.In theory, every one of these devices could be a vector for a cyberattack, and there are serious questions about whether manufacturers are building adequate security into the design of their products. What can the private sector and government do to improve cybersecurity and mitigate threats? Evan is joined by Nathan Simington, Commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Brendan Carr, a Commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) under former President Donald Trump, voiced concerns in a Fox News interview about President Joe Biden's encouragement of a bureaucracy dominated by Democrats to place the spotlight on entrepreneur Elon Musk. Carr was critical of the FCC's recent revocation of nearly $900 million that was previously promised to SpaceX, Musk's private space agency. This discrepancy, according to Carr, is rooted in political persuasion. In the dialogue with Maria Bartiromo, Carr made clear his conviction that the reversal of this beneficial deal for rural America could not be justified. The deal was intended to deliver broadband internet services to those in less accessible regions, implying that the government's decision could be viewed as economically undermining the rural population. Carr's contention is that the FCC's decision was influenced by President Biden's call for governance bodies to scrutinize Musk after his acquisition of Twitter in October 2022. Brendan Carr laid out his concerns about the expansive power held by administrative entities in the capital, noting the Democratic sway on these organisations for almost 12 of the past 16 years. This political influence, Carr suggests, could be the force behind the FCC's rejection of SpaceX's previously granted award.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Myriad questions are swirling around telecommunications policy at the outset of this year. Elon Musk's Starlink and Jeff Bezos' Kuiper are heating up the discussion surrounding Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite internet. The FCC's ability to auction off spectrum is up for reauthorization on March 9th, securing a vital asset for the regulatory body to disburse. And massive sums of money are being made available for broadband expansion, but with serious uncertainty on how to effectively use it. But how can we safeguard good governance over the technology that enables us to communicate so easily over such great distances in these important moments? To help identify such strategies, we are joined by Michael O'Rielly, former FCC Commissioner, telecommunications consultant, and public servant. In this episode, Shane reminds us that “free” doesn't mean no one is paying, that auctions matter, and that satellites are more than rocket science—among many other things. Tune in as they separate the signal from the noise on telecommunications policy!
