In a day and age where technology rules the selling world, authenticity and trust have taken a “back seat” in the sales process. Today's guest puts trust back into selling in such an elegant and natural way, that the truth quickly emerges between seller and buyer, so the painful and arduous “chasing” process no longer has to happen to make a sale. Ari Galper is the World's #1 Authority on Trust-Based Selling and is one the most experienced sales growth advisors in the world. He is the creator of Unlock The Game®, a completely new revolutionary sales approach that overturns the notion of selling as we know it today. With clients in over 35 countries, Ari's global sales systems have become the most successful Trust-Based Selling systems of our time. Ari has been featured in CEO Magazine, SkyNews, Forbes, INC Magazine and the Australian Financial Review. In today's episode, Ari shares his revolutionary sales process with Dr. Fred, as they discuss: Bringing authenticity to the dysfunctional world of selling. How Ari's son inspired his approach to sales Framing sales like a 'doctor - patient relationship' Why prospects must take ownership of their problem before you can sell to them The critical importance of the right mindset and trust-based languaging Breaking trust by attempting to move a sale forward before the person is ready Why people aren't comfortable revealing their truth Losing the sale at "hello" Building Trust at the beginning so you aren't chasing them at the end The problem it's NOT your market, product, or prospects...it's YOU! How Ari's clients achieve 100% conversion of all qualified clients Shifting your prospect's thinking by changing your own approach Going beneath the "iceberg" with prospects How traditional sales can be dehumanizing Episode Length: 01:00:50 ARI GALPER'S RESOURCES Website > https://unlockthegame.com Book > 'Unlock The Sales Game: New Trust-Based Selling Strategies To Finally Create Your Sales Breakthrough' https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W2U3ZE4 Free Course > https://unlockthegame.com/webinar KEY SALES QUESTIONS "Can you tell me a little more about that?" (Royalty-free image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay.) Remember some of your toughest subjects in school? What if you'd had a personal AI tutor, to help you learn them? And what if that tutor had been able to spot your weakest areas, and tell you when you were forgetting concepts? That's exactly what Magma Learning Founder/CEO Maxime Gabella has now made possible. Maxime. who is both a theoretical physicist and an artist (he has a Ph.D. in string theory and a fine-arts/philosophy background) has developed ARI 9000, a personal artificial-intelligence tutor application. And ARI is one component of Magma Learning's mission: to radically enhance human learning through artificial intelligence. Since its start in 2019, Magma Learning has garnered several honors, including the Digital Seed Award from the Foundation for Technological Innovation, and Karger Publishers' first Vesalius Innovation Award. Currently, Maxime says, ARI 9000 is primarily available to organizations, for employee training, and to institutions of higher learning, as a student-education tool. But a consumer version is forthcoming, and may be available sometime this summer! We talked about the story of ARI, how Maxime came to create it, and what's next! On this edition of Over Coffee®, we cover: Why Maxime considers learning "as exhilarating as playing"; How he first came to realize the potential of AI to enhance human learning; The story of Magma Learning; How Maxime's physics research uncovered a surprising finding about space and time; How ARI 9000 works!; What most of us don't realize, in the process of learnings, that ARI can catch; How someone using ARI 9000 can actually "see" what they know--and don't know; One commonly-held misconception about learning;

Ari Meisel is an entrepreneur, author, CEO, TED speaker, real estate developer, green building consultant, and productivity expert. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease while building his prpoerty development business in 2007. Crohn's is an incurable disease of the digestive tract. Ari's case was severe, and required over a dozen daily medications and several hospital visits. After reaching a personal low point in hospital, Ari decided he would do everything in his power to strengthen his by then weak body. Through a combination of yoga, nutrition, natural supplements and rigorous exercise (Triathon and Crossfit) he was able to fight back the symptoms of Crohns until he was finally able to suspend his medication. Eventually Ari was declared free of all traces of the 'incurable' disease, and competed in Ironman France in June of 2011. Ari has since spoken at seminars and at a regional TED Talk about his struggle against a seemingly insurmountable opponent. It's hard to imagine a profession more fraught with the potential for insecurity than that of a standup comic. Andrew Schulz says sure, it's there - but you can't let it rule your life or derail your career. In this candid - and graphic - conversation, Andrew, Ari, and Nick chat about Andrew's career journey, how he's fought to rise to the top of his profession in spite of insecurity and fear, and what it takes to make things happen - from a comedy perspective and a business perspective. He's a great example of someone who has ground out his success one step at a time. ## Andrew Schulz is like most people: He loves delegation and hates management. As Ari asked his guest, comedian Andrew Schulz how he manages his busy life and all the projects he has going, Andrew pointed to Trello as his “to-do list that other people can see,” and mentioned that he loves delegating things to his assistant but hates the stress that comes from overseeing whether she really did the things he delegated. Ari pointed out that what Andrew feels is common, and it's exactly what he should feel. He's talking about the management piece - and every entrepreneur has to learn how to offload that aspect of business in order to create space for the things they really want in life. You can find out how that looks in the life of a standup comedian, on this episode with Andrew Schulz. ## In any field, you've got to learn to deal with risk, insecurity, and the fear of failure. Andrew Schulz says he admires anyone who has absolutely no fear of rejection. It's a quality that very few people seem to have. He struggles with fear of rejection regularly as he tries out new comedy routines and learns to pivot, iterate, and adapt to the realities of what is truly funny to people - but he also makes the point that every field requires a certain amount of risk. Those who are successful in their field have to face the insecurity squarely so it can be conquered. Find out how Andrew has dealt with the inevitable fear of failure so far, and what he does to keep himself pressing forward in spite of it, on this episode of Leverage. ## The freedom to do what you want comes from creating independent streams of income. In this conversation Ari asked Andrew Schulz how he is able to do the things he truly loves and Andrew pointed to a principle entrepreneurs should know very well: You've got to create streams of income that allow you to have the consistency and stability you need for life in order to be free to pursue the things you really want to pursue. That's what he's done through a handful of revenue sources - and now he's able to say “No” to commercial or sponsorship gigs that he doesn't want to do in order to pursue the opportunities that are bigger and more aligned with his brand as a comic. You can hear how he applies the principle to his life and see how to apply it to your situation, on this episode. ## Assume people like you. It enables you to treat people better. At the end of each episode, Ari asks his guests to share 3 things listeners can do to be more productive - and Andrew Schulz immediately shared that if you can assume people like you, you will be empowered to treat them better - and the results are nothing but good. He gives a few examples of what he means by this that help flesh out the concept, so be sure you listen and learn to be more optimistic when it comes to meeting and interacting with new people. ## Outline of This Episode - [0:03] Parental warning: This episode will be quite EXPLICIT.
