What happens when organizations can't dream? Not because they lack vision. But because they're too busy scrambling to make payroll, chasing emergency grants, firefighting the latest crisis. Scarcity doesn't just drain bank accounts — it steals the capacity to imagine what's possible. In this episode, I sit down with Jamye Wooten, founder of CLLCTIVLY in Baltimore, to explore what he calls "reactivism" and how the social impact sector got trapped in a cycle of moving from crisis to crisis, hashtag to hashtag, never building the institutions we actually need. After years on the front lines in Ferguson and Baltimore, Jamye stepped back to create what he calls an "imagination incubator" — and he's putting real resources behind it. We dig into what it actually takes to give leaders the space they need to dream, the hidden costs of the grind we celebrate, and why capital (not training) is what builds capacity. In our conversation, we explore:Why scarcity steals imagination — and what that costs us [01:47]Creating containers for imagination: CLLCTIVLY's $75K residency program [04:30]The capacity building myth: why organizations need capital, not more training [12:22]What funders get wrong about outcomes and sustainability [06:08]Participatory grantmaking and putting people before projects [09:22]How philanthropy shifts priorities every 3-5 years — and why that's devastating [10:09]The missing VC-style pipeline for social impact organizations [12:00]Partnership vs. paternalism: reimagining funder-grantee relationships [19:27]Navigating the DEI backlash and building sustainable funding models [16:31]From $5,000 to $1.2 million: how individual donors built Collective Give [19:00]Creating power balance in philanthropy spaces [22:12]The personal cost: "Dad, you're so close, but so far" [30:44]What keeps Jamye going when the work is relentless [29:17]Connect with CLLCTIVLY and what's next [33:56]Notable Quotes"We've been trying to create a container for imagination and to provide space for other folks to pause and imagine the future that they want to see." — Jamye Wooten [03:43]"Capital will help you build capacity. What does it mean to get the upfront capital that allows me to go hire my CFO and my CEO and begin to build out a team? Most folks are building as they climb without this type of infrastructure." — Jamye Wooten [13:40]"We may celebrate the hustle, the bootstrapping and the grind and resilience of community. It will also take you out." — Jamye Wooten [09:45]"I would love to see foundations and funders make a long-term commitment to really bet like they want organizations to win." — Jamye Wooten [11:22]"The times are urgent, we must slow down." — Jamye Wooten [29:40]P.S. — Struggling to align your mission with your message? This potent interview with Jamye Price brought through channeled messages about the subtle but massive changes humanity is undergoing. And as we move toward August 2025 — a moment many feel will catalyze even deeper transformation — her words feel more relevant than ever. Jamye channels Areon of the Lyran Council of Time, sharing a message that speaks directly to the energetic tipping point humanity is entering. Areon confirms that we are living through a period of intensified change — a spiral tightening toward a collective activation point.“You are at a time now in this journey of intensified change as the spiral of time and space that you reside within tightens… and at certain points, it implodes into zero point energy that then flips the experience.” — AreonThe discussion also delves into the transformative power of light language and the subtle changes occurring within individuals as they awaken to their true potential. Ultimately, the conversation serves as a reminder of our interconnectedness and the collective journey towards a more expansive and loving existence.Jamye Price is an internationally recognized channel, intuitive empath, and creator of Crystalline Soul Healing—a modality she developed after years of spiritual awakening and cosmic initiation. Drawing on her Lyran and Sirian starseed lineage, she has shared light language transmissions and guided spiritual activations worldwide since the early 2000s. Jamye teaches and nurtures sensitive, service-oriented souls, empowering them to reclaim their inner sovereignty, clarity, and brilliance. Her work blends psychic healing, energy recalibration, and multidimensional activation, making her a powerful guide for anyone navigating ascension, subtle body transformation, and soul embodiment.___________________PODCAST CHAPTERS00:00 – Jamye Price Intro3:14 – Humanity's Acceleration Into Expansion6:55 – Why Our Thoughts & Emotions Form the Subtle Bridge10:18 – Jamye's Awakening & First Contact with the True Self14:25 – Our Deep Soul Connection to the Lyrans18:15 – The Lyran Wars23:37 – The Original Wound of Separation 27:23 – Practicing Neutrality in Daily Life31:44 – Unseen Forces That Pull Us Away from Balance35:14 – What Critical Mass Feels Like in the Collective Ascension38:22 – Channeled Message from the Lyran Council of Time47:03 – Subtle Ascension Signs You Might Be Missing52:05 – What Is Light Language & Why It's Expanding Now56:22 – Jamye's Breakthrough Moment 1:00:42 – How to Intentionally Call Forth Spiritual Awakening1:03:39 – Receiving a Light Language Transmission1:09:51 – Powerful Light Language Transmission 1:15:23 – Integration Insights1:18:50 – Best Way to Revisit a Light Language Transmission1:19:57 – Daily Life in Active Theta & Evolving Perception1:21:35 – Misconceptions About Humanity's Ascension 1:22:33 – How to Know When You're Truly Empowered1:23:42 – Time Capsule Question___________________Guest: Jamye Price | Channeler ✦ Website | https://jamyeprice.com/✦ Learn Light Language | https://jamyeprice.com/how-to-learn-l...✦ Crystalline Soul Healing | hhttps://jamyeprice.com/what-is-crysta...✦ Classes | https://jamyeprice.com/classes/✦ YouTube | @JamyePrice Host: Emilio Ortiz✦ IG | / iamemilioortiz ✦ Subscribe to Channel | / emilioortiz ✦ Watch Emilio's latest series on 4biddenknowledge TV l https://bit.ly/AwakenThe6thSense___________________© 2025 Emilio Ortiz. As we approach the Solstice — a portal of light, renewal, and deep energetic alignment — I can't think of a more perfect conversation to share with you than this week's episode of The You-est You® Podcast. I sat down with the luminous Jamye Price, energy healer, channel, and author of Opening to Light Language, to explore the mystical power of Light Language — a multidimensional communication that bypasses the mind and speaks straight to your soul. We talk about what Light Language really is, how it connects us to galactic and elemental beings, and why it may already be awakening in you. Be sure to stay until the end to hear a live channeled transmission that's pure heart-and-soul activation. This is more than a conversation — it's a remembrance, and with the light-filled Solstice energies streaming in, the timing couldn't be more divine. And if you feel called to go deeper, Jamye's beautiful course on The Shift Network, You Can Channel Light Language Too, is a powerful next step to unlock your intuitive gifts and spiritual voice:
Send us a textJamye Price takes us on a fascinating journey through the multidimensional landscape of light language—a form of channeled communication that bypasses our logical mind to speak directly with our soul and cellular structure. What begins as Jamye's personal story of unexpected psychic opening during the 1987 Harmonic Convergence transforms into a masterclass on accessing our innate ability to channel cosmic frequencies. She shares how her initial reluctance to embrace these gifts gradually gave way to profound trust as light language movements, then sounds, began flowing through her during healing sessions. The transformation wasn't without challenges—overcoming judgment, both internal and external, required patience and supportive community.Light language, Jamye explains, works by engaging our limbic system rather than conventional language centers, creating a multilayered communication that interacts directly with what scientists once dismissed as "junk DNA." This subtle-to-subtle connection creates an environment that activates dormant capabilities within our genetic structure, opening intuitive senses and healing abilities. Each form—speaking, singing, writing, and movement—creates unique brainwave states with different healing potentials. For those navigating today's intense energetic climate, Jamye offers practical wisdom: ground in personal empowerment rather than being overwhelmed by collective chaos. She emphasizes that light language serves as both stabilizer and integrator during spiritual awakening, providing tangible evidence that we're constantly in communication with multidimensional aspects of consciousness. Most importantly, Jamye assures us that these abilities are natural birthrights now awakening across humanity—we're experiencing "a spring for humanity" where our dormant capabilities are blossoming into conscious expression.Ready to discover your own light language? A Second Tribute to Candid Royalle, with Jamye Waxman As sex therapists and longtime friends of Candida Royalle (actual name Candice Vadala), Jamye and Diana appreciate Candice's thirst for self-knowledge. She wrote in 2013, “Still trying to unlock the key to myself.” She also wrote, “I will not let my past ruin my future.” For decades Candice struggled to view herself through her own eyes, rather than through the eyes of some guy. Jamye Waxman (www.waxmansextherapy.com) spoke in response to Dr. Diana's questions: What was Candice to you? and What would you like to thank her for? As the “Godmother of Feminist Porn,” Candice—a real pioneer— was an inspiration for Jamye; also, a real friend and mentor. Jamye confesses that Candice believed in her before she could believe in herself! Diana and Jamye agreed that their late friend allowed others to shine! Jamye, for example, produced “Under the Covers” while Candice directed (the very last movie before her death in 2015). Our discussion pivoted to pornography. Candice was disappointed by the new generation of mainstream porn: “The adult-porn industry is becoming a trash heap of over-the-top extremities of the most violating acts … Young men being brought up on this latest crop of meaningless mechanical crap are learning some terrible things about sex and women.” She wrote that in her diary in 2003. Jamye fears that for our offspring, that we are fostering a phone-based childhood instead of a play-based childhood. Because of phones, kids often have easy access to porn. For example, choking a partner may be normalized. (See the interview with Dr. Debbie Herbenick.) Jamye's concern is that things are being learned without being addressed. Candice foreshadowed that violence could become acceptable. It's easy enough to go down a rabbit hole: vanilla sex scenes lead to kinky sex acts or violent ones. In the early morning of September 7, 2015, Candice died of ovarian cancer at her Long Island home. The night before Diana wrote to her, in part: “To think that your vibrant, creative, beautiful life is about to end is devastating. It's not fair. But your legacy is phenomenal! Through your movies, your book (How to Tell a Naked Man What to Do), and your media appearances, you have changed and improved many people's sex lives and relationships. And, when folks can experience less shame and more enthusiasm regarding their sexuality … wow! … what a blessing!” Diana and Jamye are glad Candice lived. She was a real blessing! “Your thoughts don't become beliefs until you feel them in your body” Jayme and I follow up episode 54, with a beautiful extension leading into feminine shadow work, dropping into the body and transforming our lived experience. And what is it actually all for. The body is the subconscious mind and the body is where lived experiences, emotions, stagnant energy are stored- and some are very much alive within us! The path to liberating ourselves into higher levels of consciousness is through the body. This has been a pivotal part of Jayme's transformational journey- and she shares her journey of dropping out of the mind and beginning to access the body. She explains that she read all the books, listened to all the podcasts and did all the personal development work- but there were a few pieces that she could “never seem to” figure out- and one of them was that she could understand all of the concepts- but what we she supposed to “act on”? And in that, she realized she was still looking for something outside of herself to find a purpose, to light her internal fire. “If you don't allow yourself to feel all the feelings- even the pain, the discomfort, the fear- you cut yourself off from feeling all the high vibrational feelings- the joy, the ecstasy, the freedom” The power of mindset work and belief work has been an integral part of the beginning of her journey, but what it doesn't do is change the experiences stored in your body( she likens it to running up against a glass ceiling if you avoid the body). The power of being present in your body and actually transmuting the emotions and traumas living in your being. We talk about how your body is a receptive channel- and in order to truly feel safe to receive- we must begin to receive ourselves fully. This is a juicy episode.
