The Iconic Dollcast is back with BRAND NEW EPISODES!
Starting this week, I'm doing something special for Pride. Throughout the month of June, I'm going to bring you the very best of the last nine years of Sewers of Paris interviews — excerpts from some of my very favorite conversations. We're starting this week with a roundup of some of the fabulous Drag Race performers that have stopped by the show, starting with BenDeLaCreme, continuing on the Peppermint, then Jaymes Mansfield, Alaska, and then paying tribute to Chi Chi DeVayne. I'll have more best-ofs next week — for that episode, themed around musicals of stage and screen. And if you'd like to hear the full interviews, check out these episodes:Ben DeLaCreme: Episode 303Peppermint: Episode 306Jaymes Mansfield: Episode 304Alaska and Jeremy: Episode 198Chi Chi DeVayne: Episode 299And for some more BenDeLaCreme, check out Matt's So-Cast Pod Episode 1.
In today's episode, I talk with Jaymes Mansfield about shattered expectations, what is or isn't "blonde", how Trixie would be nothing without Jaymes (her words, not mine), and much more.
In this episode of COL Drag Race ‘T-Time', Gary and Damon are back one more time as the queens finally cross the finish line. From making over their lesbians to participating in a variety show, find out which All-Stars have the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to snatch the crown. Plus, which queen is sashed … Continue reading COLDR: AS8E04: The L Word, The Fame Games Extravaganza Variety Show, Grand Finale →
We may be a week away from what seems like an inevitable victory for this season's frontrunner, but the real winner this season is Monica Beverly Hillz for not being a soaking clock. We spend like 20 minutes on her variety show performance alone and at least another 15 minutes on a tangent about Mom Rock and Teacher-as-Savior movies, but we also have much to say about how Jimbo would have won again this week, the power of the LaLa Ri Experience, Jaymes Mansfield finally having her moment and whether or not we should talk about “Bring it On” on this podcast.
In this episode of COL Drag Race ‘T-Time', Gary and Damon ru-cap the most recent episodes and, gurl, do they have a LOT to say! From creating a winning look to making an audience laugh at a roast, the All-Stars are scheming and dealing to make it to that final crown. With all this being … Continue reading COLDR: AS8E03: You're A Winner Baby! & Carson Kressley, This is Your Gay Life →
In this episode of COL Drag Race ‘T-Time', Gary and Damon get spicy as the All-Stars continue their race to the crown. From impersonation to improvisation, listen as the guys debate and debrief the drama of the most recent episodes. Things get heated, words are exchanged and more than one queen feels the need to … Continue reading COLDR: AS8E02: Snatch Game of Love, JOAN: The Unauthorized Rusical!, Forensic Queens →
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8 queen Alexis Michelle spills major tea on her side of the Heidi N Closet/Kandy Muse conversation and more auditions that went down before ‘Joan: The Unauthorized Rusical' challenge, while Jaymes Mansfield explains why the judges are to blame for her surprise elimination.
¿Te sorprendió la eliminación de Jaymes Mansfield? HOLY SMOKES! Alex hosts this episode with Special guest Big Gay John. After gettig wildly jelous last season Alex made a point to steal away an episode to feature Big Gay John, and they take the opportunity to heap praise on the glorious Jaymes Mansfield! We hope you enjoy this rare Velvet-free epsiode, where Alex can speak his truth!
Dann erstellen sie TV Trailer für die neuen Stars am „Not picked up as a series“ Himmel. Hätte es besseren Inhalt für die 100. Folge gegeben? Vielen Dank fürs Einschalten in 2½ Jahren The Gayze – Boys with Eyes.
On this weekend's What to Watch: Fan favorites including Jaymes Mansfield, Lala Ri, Kandy Muse, and Heidi N Closet are back for the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Jennifer Lopez stars as an assassin who comes out of hiding to save the daughter she gave up a decade ago in The Mother. Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen head to Italy for Book Club: The Next Chapter. Wyatt Oleff and Chase Sui Wonders star in City on Fire, an adaptation of the popular novel. Plus, Hollywood trivia, our Sound Bite of the Week from the new trailer for Never Have I Ever, and entertainment headlines, including how the writers' strike is affecting Jeopardy!, Adam Levine making his return to The Voice, more cancellations at The CW, and the death of General Hospital star Jacklyn Zeman.
Of The Mother-Tucking World führen.
Multifolgenalarm! International All Stars ist hier und we are in for a wild ride, that's for sure. Fahrt ihr mit? Dann Kopfhörer auf und los!

Still recovering from Kornbread's departure, Tilmon and Katy break down last week's episode of drag race. If you were confused by Jaymes Mansfield's energy, pleasantly surprised by Jasmine's maturity, or personally offended by Deja's runway, you'll want to take a listen.
Save a queeeeeeeeeen. Just not with a chocolate bar, yet. We see the return of Jaymes Mansfield, Kahmora Hall and Tempset DuJour, to star in this week's charitable maxi challenge. Kornbread is gone!!! (Although corn always reappears, doesn't it?) Runway category is Spring is Sprung (flowers… in spring? Grooooundbreaking….) and Ava Max is… well if you haven't got anything nice to say, saying nothing at all. So this week's podcast will be 45 mins of silence. Merry merry, Mary's! RuPaul and Company are queening out for Christmas on VH1 in a campy, kooky and occasionally filthy send-up of Hallmark holiday movies. Ru iconically appears alone in front of a green screen for most of her screen time, but acts her holiday heart out. There's a cavalcade of Drag Race alum, from first outs Jaymes Mansfield and Victoria Porkchop Parker in lead supporting roles to both Latrice and Mayhem in separate bus related cameos. Brooke Lynn Hytes does her best Russian Canadian, Ginger finds the Sharon Gless, Peppermint drives a taxi and then there's Jan, who's great, of course, because we love Jan. We spend quite a bit of time on a Justin Hartley related rabbit hole, sort of discuss the hubbub around the Season 14 Meet the Queens (but we'll probably save that for Patreon), eventually find a connection to 1985's “Summer Rental” and even work an “A League of Their Own” moment of appreciation into the conversation. How much do you know about the people who paved the way for you? We all benefit from foundations laid by those who came before, but so often -- and particularly for queer people -- those forebears are lost to history. The queens are tumbling for their lives this week in a cheerleading challenge that, frankly, left us jeering. Jaymes Mansfield struggles to come forward, Kimora Blac throws shade at cartwheeling and rhinestones, Peppermint shares a powerful story from her past and Valentina reveals her true drag mother. Then it's a White Party on the runway and a B-50-snooze of a “Love Shack” lip sync. We queen out on the importance of kindness between the queens, spill some T on World of Wonder/Logo/VH1, check in with our sister podcast and send you out with a Last Chance Lipsync you oughta know about.

Plus: words of wisdom from Jasmine Masters!

Behind every great drag queen is a great woman- female entertainers who inspired them to be the outrageous drag queen we all love. Many queens cite Divine as a key influence on their drag, but the iconic drag queen herself was profoundly inspired by the great Liz Taylor. RuPaul drew inspiration from Diana Ross, and Lady Bunny certainly mirrored Dusty Springfield’s look and life except the eating at the Y part.Like mixing an upper with a downer, these great ladies gave us the speedball that is drag.Behind every great drag queen is a great woman- female entertainers who inspired them to be the outrageous drag queen we all love. Many queens cite Divine as a key influence on their drag, but the iconic drag queen herself was profoundly inspired by the great Liz Taylor.
