We are constantly in pursuit of increasing physical and mental performance in the least amount of time. Often you end up spending many hours per week (if you can find these hours) to lift weights, take classes such as Zumba, etc. Then there's the recovery period, which often does not occur because you are too busy or now too sore to function properly. Is this working? Are you exactly where you want to be physically? What if you could increase muscle, increase bone density, encourage lymphatic drainage and elevate your mood without spending countless hours that you do not have each week? Whole body vibration training is a platform that vibrates at a specific frequency to activate your hormonal, cardiovascular, lymphatic, and nervous systems simultaneously. While you can pick one up cheap on Amazon, it has been found that the most effective frequency is a constant 30 Hz. Therefore, adjustable speeds is not necessarily beneficial. What is the purpose of flashy bells and whistles if they offer no benefit? How does whole body vibration training work? As you sit or stand on the vibrating platform, your muscles will contract and relax many dozens of times each second. This requires far more energy than standing on solid ground as your muscles are contracting and relaxing in order to remain upright. As a result, the results you achieve will occur far faster. When your muscles contract and relax, increased oxygen and nutrients are pushed into the tissues of your body. This assists in increased flexibility, blood flow, reduced muscle soreness and decreased stress levels (cortisol). Whole body vibration training increases both circulatory and lymphatic flow that can replace hours of walking and be far more beneficial as a result. Vibration plate sessions should never exceed 15 minutes and the practitioner you work with will be able to ensure the session is done properly. The amount of improved core function on the vibration plate can be extraordinary!!! The list of benefits of vibration plate training are scientifically backed and include: less time in the gym giving you more time to crush life, Increase your strength, decreased fat loss in less time, hormonal balance, increased lymphatic drainage, increased bone density, increased flexibility, improved digestion, increased joint stability, improved circulation, decreased pain, improved balance, elevated mood and anti-aging. www.functionised.com Instagram Facebook

In this Episode Dr Mike and the Mad Scientist, Jim Goetz, answer questions regarding the current research and effectiveness behind the ancient art of energy healing, and more specifically Reiki They begin by discussing what specifically is Reiki, and the theories behind transferring one's energy or life force to another to help promote general health, depression, chronic pain, anxiety, and more, as well as touch upon other similar known practices such as laying of hands, spiritual/faith healing, and qi-gong. The majority of previous research is full of small sample sizes, poorly designed methods, and typically designed by biased parties with the full intent of either proving or disproving it without much thought in just testing the hypothesis and practice Most research on this topic has been targeted towards decreasing pain, stress, and other subjective, or immeasurable variables. Recently however, 3rd parties have been finding ways to make a sham/placebo group with reliable outcome measures in a randomly controlled format to start seeing what, if any true benefits this ancient art may have. Previously, Reiki has been shown to decrease anxiety, increase general happiness, lower stress, and heart rate. The issue here is that meditation, just being around a calm and relaxed person or environment, and even a sham reiki treatment (placebo) can create these same outcomes. So it can't be said that "healing energy" is what is causing the benefits. Also, the old adage of mind over matter, or a person believing that a treatment will help, significantly increases the odds that it will to some degree. Two recent major reviews of current literature however has compiled better data to both suggest and deny a few benefits. First, is discussed what Reiki has been shown to not do. There has been no solid support that it helps with pain or chronic ailments such as fibromyalgia and joint pain. What biohackers found interesting on the other end of the spectrum involves 2 small, but more well put together studies suggesting some potential health benefits. As far as measurable outcomes go compared to sham reiki, meditation, and relaxing music, the energy healing group performed by an "attuned" individual showed a marked positive change in heart rate variability, body temperature, vessel dilation, and in some cases lower cortisol release, which all happen to be effects of an increased parasympathetic nervous system, or the rest and digest counter part to the body's fight or flight response. A few other studies tried taking the research to the next level from a clinical standpoint, and did a similar method with a Reiki practitioner , a sham treatment, and just room temperature exposure on a group of petri dishes full of breast and liver cancer cells. To the scientific surprise, the energy treatment groups had slower tumor cell growth compared to the control groups. Chemotherapy patients have also stated larger benefits of treatments when Reiki is added opposed to chemotherapy alone The final discussion is the question as to how could these potential effects be occurring, with the short answer of science has yet to confidently pin point a mechanism. Theories from western medicine mainly suggest possibilities of it involving magnetic energies from our bodies opposed to the eastern philosophies of a movement of life force. The major biohacker question here is, should one use Reiki? There has been no signs or suggestions of any negative side effects, and it appears to have a possible benefit. Based on the infancy of research and lack of strong evidence, it is not suggested as a replacement for allopathic medicine or other modalities, but appears to be a safe candidate as a complimentary approach. biohackhumans.com Listen on Android, iTunes, Spotify and/ or iHeart Radio FREE!!!! Jim Goetz Mike Brandon Chantea Goetz This special podcast is a discussion and overview of the book, Biohacking the Brain for Success: Becoming a Champion in All Aspects of Life, which is currently available on Amazon. This book was written years before it was written. Many successful individuals paved the way for us today in the here and now. Techniques, tips and biohacks were used to propel one from unsuccessful to beyond ones wildest dreams successful. Jim Goetz was taking time...years even to put together this conglomorate of thoughts and activities. Together with Chantea Goetz, they compiled a resource that many have found extremely helpful in realizing the success that has often eluded them. "The journey to success is a bumpy and uneven road. It is never straight or clear cut. There are people who seem to be successful at whatever they do while others seem to work hard but never get anywhere in life. This book takes a dynamic new approach to achieving all of your hopes and dreams in that it goes in depth to the inner workings of your central nervous system (your brain) and helps you to reprogram missing aspects keeping you from achieving your life's ambitions. The sky is the limit. This book will break those limits as we BioHack your brain into becoming successful in all aspects of your life". biohackhumans.com Find us: Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook (@biohackhumans) Twitter (@biohackhumans) Tumblr (@biohackhumans) Contact Us: support@biohackhumans.com
Chantea Goetz Jim Goetz Mike Brandon Whatever it takes….. Our guest on this weeks show is Chantea Goetz. Chantea is the Director of Cognitive Performance at Functionised Integrative Therapeutics (F.I.T.). Chantea Goetz has a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from the University of Tampa, Masters Degree in Sport Psychology and currently working on her PhD in applied psychophysiology. To add more to her plate, she not only dedicates much time as a volunteer for various activities but is a mom of three (10, 5, 3). Chantea has for two decades now been looking at womens fitness magazines in awe of the women in them. She reads their background stories, see how busy their lives are, and historically has left her thoughts as, “what if”? Over the past year, Chantea has decided to make a bucket list of things she feels she would like to accomplish. Regarding the aspect of fitness, Chantea decided to get herself into shape to do well on stage in an NPC figure competition. This was no easy task. Like most girls/ women, Chantea has struggled with avoiding nutrition and processed foods and being consistent in the gym. Competing in a figure competition would require her to be advanced in both of these aspects. If anyone decides to take on a monumental task, they often get running hard out of the gates. They are motivated. They are inspired. They are two weeks away at most from burnout and quitting. In order to ensure she did everything right, Chantea enrolled the help of world class strength and conditioning coach and chiropractic board certified mad scientist, Jim Goetz. Jim Goetz has had experience with a wide variety of championship professional athletes. Chanteas program would consist of habit forming activities. It is unrealistic to think someone who has historically worked out off and on for weeks to months then stops for twice the duration would be able to commit 3 hours per day 6 days per week and an active recovery seventh- for an entire year. The program began as five minutes per day with simple calisthenics only. Nutritionally she eliminated sugar, bread, and pasta. She found convenient replacements that she enjoys daily. Jim Goetz has utilized top strength and conditioning techniques such as daily undulating periodization, blood flow occlusion training, high intensity interval sessions (WODS), to ensure optimal efficiency of time under tension principles to both increase musculature and burn body fat. To burn body fat, Chantea remained mostly ketogenic for the duration of the year. This is a new paradigm in the world of body building that most body builders would argue with. However, this nutritional lifestyle not only improved endurance but also helped Chantea to hip thrust 405 lbs the day before competition at the end of peak week (the time when athletes are depleted of calories and water). This hip thruster can be found on the @biohackhumans Instagram page. Chantea also biohacked her body using intermittent fasting (eating during an 8 hour window) to help increase growth hormone levels to aid in recovery as well as cold treatments (increase brown fat thermogenesis) and body fat laser treatments (at Functionised Integrative Therapeutics). She also employed some of the top clinicians and physiologists around to keep her body functionised. Chantea literally biohacked her body from mom of three bod to figure model body. Not only did it change her physically but it also changed her mentally as she had to implore many cognitive techniques to remain mindful and lower her stress levels. Time management was also key. To workout twice each day for around three hours total plus eat right throughout the day requires careful strategy, which Chantea was successful with. Chantea's supplement regemine consisted of a creatine HCL, krill, taurine, high quality grass fed whey, bovine and exogenous ketones. Chantea continuously checked in with her coach on progression and mindfulness each and every day. In the end, Chantea stated while it was literally the toughest journey she has had in her life, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Chantea believes anyone can do what she did. Life always gets in the way if you let it. Full time employment, three young children, a PhD and the other usual unexpected events will get in the way of goals if you let them. With a proper support system in place and clearly defined goals, a step by step plan that one is accountable to on a daily basis- anyone can achieve their goals. An individual will need to develop excellent time management skills but in the end, the only one stopping themselves from achieving their goals is themselves. It's not about being perfect each day. It's about being better than you were the day before. That is progression. Chantea plans to continue to compete and drive herself to earn an IFBB pro card. biohackhumans.com Find us: Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook (@biohackhumans) Twitter (@biohackhumans) Tumblr (@biohackhumans) Contact Us: support@biohackhumans.com Chantea Goetz Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook: (@chanteagoetz) Twitter: (@cgoetz3)
Jim Goetz Michael Brandon, DC Chantea Goetz Introduction This episoide is a very special episode as we discuss not only carb cycling and whether this does or does not improve performance and fat loss and how it may be done but also how UFC fighters can drop three weight classes in just five days. As some extreme events have occurred in order to bring you this podcast, we do tell you not to every try or think of trying this on your own. It's pretty dumb and may cause health problems or even death. Dr. Michael Brandon was under direct one on one medical supervision for the duration of his experiement. Carbohydrate Cycling The keto diet involves getting the majority of your calories from fat, some protein, and very few (5% or less) from carbohydrates. There are modifications to the full keto diet, including carb cycling and overall increased carbohydrates. However, in reality these modifications are not a real and true ketogenic diet. One will not garner the benefits of a ketogenic diet by having days of high carbohydrate intake. Although most people are in it for the weight loss, science shows keto has a ton of other benefits, like lowering inflammation, imroving cognitive function, and keeping siety in check. While your body is shifting from burning sugar and carbs to burning fat for fuel, you experience a range of symptoms for a few days up to two weeks, called “keto flu.” While this may be improved by the consumption of exogenous ketones, it should level out. Based on the extensive research of Dr. Michael Brandon and Jim Goetz (the biohackers), no reliable peer reviewed evidence exists showing any benefit of a carbohydrate infused ketogenic diet. Once high amounts of carbohydrates are introduced back into the body, one no longer operates on ketones but glucose. One will no longer benefit from a keto diet. If takes up to a week to get into full ketosis. By having varying days of carbohydrates throughout the week, the entire idea of a keto diet is pretty worthless. When it comes to performance, the madsicentist himself noticed a 50 lb decrease in his deadlifts by using carbohydrates for the first time in almost three years. Websites and so called experts write many articles that appear well reasearched and "smart" when it comes to carb cycling. However, in reality, there is no real research and everything written and stated on other podcasts are purely subjective. If one decides to life a ketogenic lifestyle; it is a commitment to this lifestyle and truly changing ones physiological responses for life. UFC Weight Cutting There are times when mixed martial artists are injured before a championship fight. In order to ensure the pay per view buys, the UFC (or other MMA promotion) will have another fighter step in. To step in on a championship fight, the fighter must make weight to qualify to earn a belt. As a result, they may have to drop significant amounts of weight in order to accomplish this. Dr. Michael Brandon decided to put this to the test and accomplish a 30 lb weight drop in two weeks. In reality, this weight was actuall dropped in just 5 days. To begin, Dr. Michael Brandon was put through a modified Cross Fit Open 18.2 and 18.2 a baseline workout. He completed the initial workout in 7:52 and did a deadlift (as opposed to the power clean) of 335 lbs. Two hours after the weight cut (as opposed to the next day as done in the UFC and other MMA promotions such as Bellator), Dr. Michael Brandon did the exact same workout in 8:04. While his time was slightly slower, his deadlift was 375. It was interesting of his increased deadlift as Dr. Mike has not practiced deadlifting or even work on any accessory deadlift movements such as bent rows, good mornings, hyperextensions or Romanian Deadlifts. Read specifically how Dr. Michael Brandon DC completed this extreme weight cut and his thoughts by visiting our website at Biohackhumans. biohackhumans.com Find us: Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook (@biohackhumans) Twitter (@biohackhumans) Tumblr (@biohackhumans) Contact Us: support@biohackhumans.com
Jim Goetz Michael Brandon Chantea Goetz We are joined by special guest Dane Cuccinello (Great Dane) to discuss night time eating, acid reflux and answer some questions on sugar alcohols. We begin as the Mad Scientist, Jim Goetz fills us in on how both diet and timing of what and how much we eat can cause acid reflux, and he shares his woes of what prompted him into addressing this issue. We delve into possible natural and easy remedies to help offset the burning and other symptoms that are related to stomach acid imbalances. It's overall touted that we want to eat more in the morning and less at night. There's a phrase that states eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper. In general this appears to hold true, though there are a few exceptions as always, but the bigger question is, why? Why shouldn't we eat large meals at night as opposed to the morning? Usually I've been told it's because we burn most of our calories during the day so on facial value that makes sense, but once we digest, our bodies store the food as fat, so it's all there none-the-less as calories to burn. So is there a real advantage to eating earlier in the day? There have been multiple studies done inquiring this exact information. One study took 2 groups of people, gave both groups identical meals each day for 3 months. They had 1 large meal at 700kcal, 1 small meal at 200kcal, and then the last was 500kcal; breakfast was 9am, lunch was 1pm, and dinner 6pm. The only difference between the 2 groups was that half of them had the 700kcal meal for breakfast and 200kcal for diner, and the other group had the opposite. A few things were found, mostly in favor of the large breakfast group. The average weight loss over the 12 weeks tripled for the large breakfast group over the large dinner squad (9lbs and 3lbs respectively). The large breakfast group also had decreased fasting glucose, insulin, and insulin resistance scores, which all can contribute to weight loss and preventing/assisting to treat some conditions such as type 2 diabetes. PennState University did a large study to delve into this topic further to see more benefits of front loading calories. They found similar results as above, but also found that larger evening meals raised total and LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, slowed down fat metabolism, increased the desire for sugary foods, and slowed down gastric emptying which can lead to constipation Diet induced thermogensis, which we talked briefly about in a previous podcast about brown fat, is simply how many calories we burn off as heat as opposed to mechanical energy to make us move, think, etc. If we can burn more kcal off as heat from sitting around, why wouldn't we desire this? Eating food after 8pm, shows to decrease this thermogensis, so more food gets stored as fat of burning off as heat. The idea of timing what you eat for specific results is known as circadian rhythm eating. The circadian rhythm also plays a factor in satiety as well with people feeling fuller longer when eating more in the morning/daytime, which is known as front loading calories. If one isn't as full for as long, they are more likely to take another snack before bed, with an increased chance of choosing a high carb snack, which will turn into more total calories and sugar which could be easily avoided. On a less physiological stand point, but still important, is it's affects on sleep quality. Many studies have suggested that eating food late at night increases the chance of having nightmares which obviously disturbs sleep, increases morning anxiety, and lowers the overall quality of the sleep that is gotten. This occurs because the boost of metabolic activity from late eating causes more REM sleep activity. Mix this with the increased internal anxiety, and nightmares can develop. This appears to be more severe with sugary foods, but can occur with fat or protein based foods as well. Also a common issue with sugar at night, is it's affects on insulin, cortisol, and ultimately our sleep. This occurs more with diabetics or anyone in a hypoglycemic state at night, which is very common and is indicated by a sweet tooth in the evening. Typically cortisol slowly raises throughout the night and it helps to break down sugar in our body for all visceral functions in our sleep. People who have erratic blood sugar, which is far more than just those diagnosed with type 2 DM, don't have enough cortisol stored up in the adrenal glands to release the sugar we require. For this reason, our adrenals than release epinephrine/norepineprhine (adrenaline) to release glucose instead. This activates our fight or flight response, and causes us to wake in the middle of the night around 3 or 4am, and/or wakes anxious and nauseous in the morning. There are some methods however that allows you to eat at night without major repercussions, as well as a few possible benefits depending on how much and what precisely you eat. Firstly, previously mentioned adverse effects of delayed eating is minimized if it is under 150kcal, if it's 1 macronutrient instead of mixed meals. So having a tablespoon of butter would affect you less than buttered toast due to the carb and fat combo. However, it has been shown that if you exercise at night either before or after the snack, this can help negate the negative side effects.. This appears to be more significant for those that are obese. For those that just have a knack for a midnight snack, there are some potential benefits depending on what you eat, how much, and who you are. For example, active males who ate 1 macro nutrient within 30 minutes of bed under 200kcal (whey protein, bread, etc) actually had an increased in metabolism in the morning, but this didn't appear to hold true for elderly, diabetics, or overweight men. Another group is overweight and obese adults who ate whole grain cereal with skim milk 90 minutes before bed (totaling 190kcal) had decreased body weight after 1 month compared to no pre-bed snack. An interesting side note, is that it appears that if these late night snack were liquid based (whey protein shake compared to protein bar), the positive effects were slightly enhanced. biohackhumans.com Find us: Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook (@biohackhumans) Twitter (@biohackhumans) Tumblr (@biohackhumans) Contact Us: support@biohackhumans.com

We are joined this week by top New Jersey personal trainer Jared Rappoport. Jared currently trains at Ovox Gym in Morganville, New Jersey. Jared specializes in both body building and total body transformations. He has been a personal trainer for over a decade and there's no slowing down now. Clients and patients alike both bring up different ideas and concepts they hear about that they are unsure about. As individuals are always lookig for the competitive edge, more and beginning to turn to SARMS, which is an acronym for Selective Androgen Modulator Receptors. These chemicals have been around since the 1940's but really only have become a part of the main stream (filled with controversey) since the 1990's. The initial purpose of the development of SARMS was to treat a plethora of diseases such as cancer, hypogonadism, osteoporosis, Alzheimers, catexia and more. The best way to describe how SARMS work is to think of them as a puzzle piece. These puzzle pieces can only fit into specific slots in your body (receptor sites). Therefore, SARMS may float around the body and do nothing until they attach themselves to the appropriate receptor site, unlocking specific aspects of ones DNA such as preventing muscle and bone wasting. In comparing SARMS to testosterone cypionate, it appears SARMS may actually be 200 times more anabolic and 80 times more selective for the receptor sites. This means side effects are limited at best as compared to anabolic steroids for the treatment of diseases. While most research on SARMS has been conducted in lab mice, phase 1 trails on humans have begun. This is why SARMS are only available for purchase for research purposes only and not for human consumption. Some of the most popular SARMS are: LGD-4033- prevents catexia by enhancing lean muscle mass and reduces body fat. MK-2866- also prevents catexia by maintaining and increasing lean body mass and recomping. S4- designed to cure osteoporosis and increases bone density RAD140- possible cure for Alzheimers A substance which is in the SARMS family but would be considered more of a distant cousin as it's not technically a SARM is GW 501516. This may greatly increase ones physical endurance and is one of the two substances used and detected that had top 2017 Cross Fit Games athlete Ricky Gerard disqualified, suspended and outcasted by his peers. However, until the detection of this substance, he was giving 3 time Cross Fit Games Champion Mat Fraser, a run for his money. Some benefits of SARMS are: Non-toxic. Prevents calcium depletion (bone loss). Decreases the risk of prostate dysfunction. Will not interfere with ones HPTA. Will not convert to estrogen. Some human performance benefits include: Increased muscle strength. Increased muscle size. Tissue selective. Inhibits cancer cell division. Regulates libido. Side Effects of SARMS I would like to be able to comfortably list the known side effects of SARMS but in reality, thus far long term research has not been available to understand what these effects may be. Any known side effects may occur due to unregulated SARMS being laced with anabolic steroids and pro-hormones. This is why if a qualified individual does research on SARMS, they should ensure the laboratory they obtain their research chemicals from is up to par. Ethics of Using SARMS, HGH and Steroids in Sports This is a highly controversial and debatable topic. Individuals ask all the time what they should take. My advice (Jim Goetz) is to wake up each morning and have a very large glass of hard work. One should have a steady diet of determination and persistence. Supplements, SARMS, steroids, HGH and the like are often relied upon to get an athlete to the level of super human. However, when relied upon, one never achieves their true potential. While certain substances such as human growth hormone may prolong the careers of many athletes, especially foot ball players, due to the ability to speed healing, it is still a banned substance in the NCAA and National Football League. Any banned substance on the list provided by the World Anti- Doping Association should be avoided by any athlete competing in a sport they may be tested in. When one tests positive, they not only lose the chance to maximize their profits to play a game, but may result in suspension and become ostrasized by your peers. So many athletes believe they will never be caught. No one is smarter than the system as someone some where will do something and then rat them out. While some substances may actually be legal in certain sports, remember that how one obtains them must also be legal. Buying steroids from the shady guy in the gym is illegal!!! As we state in the beginning of each show, ensure you contact a qualified and good health care provider and not get your information from uneducated meat heads on a blog somewhere that have never truly accomplished anything in their lives other than huge arms that may have impressed girls back in undergrad. Anti-Aging This topic could literally be the topic all podcasts are dedicated to as it is such an emerging field in medicine yet humans have been chasing anti-aging and ways to remain young forever since the dawn of time. From Ponce de Leon and his search for the Fountain of Youth to the mention of the philosophers stone going back to 300 A.D., mankind has been searching for ways to remain youthful. Why would one not want to remain youthful and vibrant for an eternity? Aging brings reduced cognitive function, diminished strength, speed and endurance, aches and pains and diseases and ultimately death. Why would anyone want this? Some aspects of anti-aging are mere superficial remedies such as botox or using ceremides to reduce wrinkles. None of these treatments though slow down the reduction of telmomeres. It's been theorized that telomeres in our DNA reduce in length with age. It's like our internal clock. Once the telomeres are gone, the cell dies. Humans are made of cells. Therefore, once the telomere countdown ends, we die. Some methods though that are being realizes to help prolong life are not drug related. Believe it or not they are natural things we can do each and every day. Some believe that statins help prevent heart attacks but now being shown that not only do they not prevent heart attacks like previoulsy believed but reduce cognitive function, increase idiopathic muscular pains and even reduce longevity. The popular diabetes drug metformin is theorized to reduce the rate of telomere shortening. If one begins metformin at the age of three (3) they may life to 120 to 150 years of age. However, metformin does not come without side effects. Berberine has been shown to have these same effects as metformin though and without the harmful side effects. Other methods to delay telomere shortening are: -calorie restriction (see the biohackhumans podcast on intermittent fasting and the future podcast on autophagy). -proper anti-oxidant intake (not simply a cheap multi- vitamin). This may reduce aging through oxidation and fight reactive oxygen species (ROS). As we age, hormones are reduced. When we have lab work done, physicians typically look at ones hormone levels as compared to the age they are. One feels much different though at the age of 25 than they do at 65. Individuals may utilize hormone replacement therapy to match their hormones to that of the age of 25 and perform as they did at this age. Activities of daily living become easier and more fulfilling. DHEA may improve memory, immune function, muscle mass, libido and the endocrine system. Melatonin is now being understood to have some anti- oxidant characteristics in addition to improve circadian rythms. While melatonin thus far has been unsuccessful in preliminary research to show increases in life span, it is being used now in cancer treatments (mega doses) and may improve ones daily life through increased cognitive function by improving sleep. Pregnenalone is another natural substance that is the precursor to 50 other hormones that are often reduced with age. . In females, estrogen therapy has been shown to be beneficial to increase bone density and protects against heart disease. Stem cell therapy may help regenerate cells to prevent cardiovascular disease and improve or eliminate autoimmune diseases. It has been found in preliminary research that messenchymal stem cells of younger donors (mice) estends the lifespan in older recipients. ALT-711 may be useful in preventing heart disease by reducing pulse prressure and improving arterial elasticity. This occurs through breaking advanced glycosylation end product crosslinks. There are some current anti-aging developments but not worth mentioning until further credible research is completed. At the end of the day, so far there is no magic bullet of anti-aging. If the fountain of youth truly exists, then perhaps a glass of water each day from it will allow us to live for eternity. Until then, understanding the information listed above in addition to a diet that consists of organically grown produce rich in phytonutrients, a non-processed ketogenic diet, limiting alcohol intake, not smoking, and moderate exercise each day. Observational studies do show that individuals who laugh, smile and have purpose in life end up living longer than those who are unhappy and lack ambition. In the coming weeks, myself the madscientist Jim Goetz, Dr. Mike Brandon and Beauty, Brains, Brawn Chantea Goetz will be discussing more on concussion testing, protocols and utilizing the services of expert health care providers to ensure healthy cognitive function after a traumatic head injry (any blow to the head is traumatic). We will also be discussing energy levels and adrenal dysfunction. Some call adrenal dysfunction, adrenal fatigue, but we will dispell this terminological snafu. biohackhumans.com Find us: Instagram (@biohackhumans) Facebook (@biohackhumans) Twitter (@biohackhumans) Tumblr (@biohackhumans) Contact Us: support@biohackhumans.com
