It also explains why he went on to start and grow a string of fitness centers before ‘relaxing' into sales full-time. As a business owner, Matt quickly came to understand how essential selling and persuasion are to helping people get out of their own way and achieve what it is they really want. Within three months of entering the world of high-ticket sales, Matt was clearing $25K a month in straight commissions using his own personal style of selling; Later, Matt shifted his process to NEPQ and the rest is history. Roughly 90 days into switching his process to NEPQ, Matt began hitting $100K / month consistently. Beyond his keen and astute abilities as a business leader, Matt has also achieved the rare feat of earning seven figures in pure sales commission a year – representing close to $1M / month in contract value. Oil painter Matt Ryder is my guest on the podcast today. He flew 23 hours from the U.A.E. to get to Tucson that's a commitment for your art. Matt reached out to me after hearing a podcast I had done with Eric Rhodes for his Plein Air Podcast, and now I represent him in my gallery, sometimes it can be that simple or hard if you are the one doing the flying.I love his work. He's gifted, as you can see when you look at his artwork, he's got the drive and that's what it often takes to succeed. I don't care what you do in life, you have to have a drive and believe in yourself and he absolutely does. Unlike many out there, however, he can back it up with what he's doing painting-wise.We discussed his early painting career doing caricature and illustration and the story behind how he ended up traveling from Dubai to Tucson to become a represented artist for Medicine Man Gallery. Matt also speaks on what it's like to be an artist making a living in Dubai and the many similarities between painting two deserts a world apart from each other. So anyone who's out there who says, I just don't know if I can do it, but I love it, I want to do it. Listen to this. Maybe you'll gain some knowledge that'll help you on your journey. So I had a great time. Eric Rhoads interviews Matt Ryder on what life is like as an artist in Dubai, including painting in excessive temperatures, and the landscape scenery; plus, mastering values, using photos, and pushing yourself to the next level.

Everything has to start somewhere, and NEPQ™ was born out of my own experience. I wasn't the Jeremy Miner that you all know about today. I wasn't born with the gift of gab. In fact, the first time I got into sales, I got my nose smacked right into my face (not literally, though). After making zero dollars working 12-14 hours knocking on doors, I almost quit sales altogether. In this episode, I talk all about this together with Matt Ryder. This is a story that most of you have asked me about and so here it is. If you feel like selling isn't for you or are just ready to quit sales like I was 20+ years ago, then you might as well jump in and listen to this episode. In this episode, we cover: [0:00] Introduction [2:47] Jeremy shares his background [9:20] The right skills are vital to success [11:11] How Jeremy moulded the NEPQ™ process [12:15] Building less resistance and slowing down [13:03] How people react to excitement [14:37] Writing down the NEPQ™ process [15:59] Labeling the structure [17:29] Years it took the cement the NEPQ™ structure [18:10] The status frame [21:59] Studying the two most persuasive people in history [22:58] Selling was here since the beginning of time [24:13] Why Matt adapted to the NEPQ™ process ✅ If you're looking to take your sales to the 7th level, book a “Clarity Call” below and let's see if you're a good fit for our sales training program!
