Now, for all intents and purposes, this still might be pop culture, and like I said, is only a side step away from normality, but today's interview comes from the world of wrestling!! During San Diego Comic Con, you never know who is going to show up, and who you might run into! In today's case, we ran into somebody that Albie has met in the past, during his past life as a wrestling referee! We got the honor to speak with champion, Leva Bates! "Leva Bates is an American professional wrestler. She is best known for her time with All Elite Wrestling. She also had a successful tenure on the independent circuit, most notably for Shimmer Women Athletes. She has also appeared in WWE on their developmental territory NXT under the ring name Blue Pants." It's always fun talking to and meeting wrestlers! It's something that myself and Albi have been huge fans of since we were both young! Leva tells us all about her start up, plus her time in the WWE and AEW! En France, les églises reçoivent parfois des noms différents, sans qu'on en comprenne toujours la signification. C'est notamment le cas : ...Des cathédrales Ce sont souvent des églises imposantes, mais pas forcément. Ce qui explique la suprématie de ces églises sur les autres, c'est qu'il s'agit de celle où siège l'évêque. Rappelons que ce prélat est à la tête du diocèse. Dans le chœur de l'église, l'évêque s'assoit dans une chaise haute, la cathèdre, où il est le seul à pouvoir prendre place. C'est cette chaise qui a donné son nom à l'église. La cathédrale est souvent une église imposante, mais ce n'est pas nécessairement la plus grande du diocèse. ...des collégiales Ces églises tirent leur nom de l'habitude qu'avaient les chanoines de se réunir en un collège, qui porte aussi le nom de chapitre. On trouvait ces chanoines dans les cathédrales, mais la collégiale, où ne siège pas l'évêque, est vraiment leur église. Chacun d'entre eux a en effet son siège dans le chœur de l'église. Les chanoines peuvent être des clercs séculiers, le plus souvent des prêtres, ou des clercs réguliers qui, comme les moines, vivent en commun, selon une règle. Les chanoines étaient les conseillers de l'évêque et administraient le diocèse durant les vacances du siège épiscopal. Mais ils ont également des fonctions liturgiques. ...Des basiliques Ce qui distingue les basiliques des cathédrales, c'est, si l'on peut dire, leur caractère honorifique. Elles reçoivent en effet cette qualité de la part du pape parce qu'elles abritent de précieuses reliques, le tombeau d'un saint ou qu'elles sont un lieu de pèlerinage célèbre. C'est ainsi que l'église du Saint-Sépulcre, à Jérusalem, a reçu le titre de basilique parce qu'elle s'élève sur le lieu supposé de la crucifixion du Christ. De même, l'église Saint-Paul-hors-les-Murs, qui fait partie des quatre basiliques majeures de Rome, abriterait le tombeau de l'apôtre Paul. Certaines cathédrales sont des basiliques, comme la basilique Saint-Denis, ou la basilique Sainte-Cécile, à Albi. D'autres cathédrales n'ont pas droit à ce titre. Il nome del tour prende il nome dall'ultimo album del gruppo, Stupido Sexy Futuro, pubblicato dopo 6 anni dall'ultimo lavoro. «Il futuro è sexy perché è attraente. Noi guardiamo al futuro con ogni tipo di speranza, è una di quelle cose che vorresti affrontare a tutti i costi in modo positivo. Però quasi sempre ti delude e quindi è stupido, quando arrivi nel futuro ti accorgi che è deludente». Riguardo al concerto che si terrà al Piazzale degli Alpini a Bergamo, Albi ci dice: «Cerchiamo di fare un concerto molto coinvolgente, cerchiamo di fare qualcosa di unico con il pubblico. Ci saranno tracce del nuovo disco e tanti brani degli album precedenti. Daremo tutto in campo, ci divertiremo molto».

Né à Alger en 1989, Sofiane arrive en France à 3 ans, et grandit dans une cité de Vierzon avec ses parents, ses 2 frères et sa grande sœur. Aiguillé vers le rugby alors que rien ne l'y prédestinait, il fait rapidement preuve de grandes qualités et quitte la maison à 16 ans pour s'engager à Brive. L'année suivante, en grand espoir du rugby français, il débarque du côté d'Agen. Il y fait ses premiers pas en Pro D2 à tout juste 18 ans, lancé par Henry Broncan. En 2010, le sorcier Gersois l'emmène dans ses bagages à Albi, où il passera 2 saisons, le temps de mûrir et de se faire remarquer par les plus grosses écuries de Top 14. Il s'engage alors à Perpignan ou il connaitra ses premières sélections avec le XV de France, mais également de graves blessures qui freineront son irrésistible ascension. À l'aube de la Coupe du Monde 2015, il rejoint les rangs de l'UBB puis ceux du Stade Toulousain deux ans plus tard. Champion de Pro D2, Vainqueur du Top 14, de la Champions Cup, international à XV et 7, et même athlète Olympique... Sofiane est aujourd'hui pleinement épanoui dans la Ville Rose, et est un peu le grand frère du vestiaire Toulousain. Passionné de sport, il se destine à une reconversion et tant préparateur physique dans le club de ses rêves. Également investi en affaires, nous nous sommes entretenus dans son restaurant ! À ce propos, je vous conseille ses pizzas, elles sont trop bonnes ! Même si je savais que j'allais passer un bon moment, j'ai rencontré un Sofiane aux antipodes de l'image que j'avais de lui. C'est un garçon humble, gros bosseur et éminemment sympathique. Il est pétri de valeurs que je partage et il a galéré arriver là ou il se trouve. Je me suis vraiment régalé en compagnie de Sofiane, et je suis très content de vous partager notre échange. Bonne écoute ! -----------------------------

We're always looking out for resources, mostly in the popular-art side of life, that embody the Belovedness that precedes all loving. Whether it's a Motown single or a novel no one's ever heard of or a TV show from last year, we're on the lookout for felt expressions, resonating with us inwardly, of the Love that precedes all 'Works of Love' (SK). Thanks to my college friend, Steven Berzin, I've gotten hooked on a French mystery program -- in episodes of an hour and a half -- entitled "Murder in...". The producers fill in the blank with a stunning regional locale each week -- Albi, Carcassonne, Blois, Colmar, you name it. What's hooked both Mary and me is the way the mystery plot uncovers the personal pain and inward conflicts of the police investigators. There's the rub! Each episode uses the "low anthropology" of the crime being investigated to unearth issues and hurts within the investigators themselves. And yet -- and yet -- these conflicts, brought into the light, almost always presage healing and hope, newness and restitution. What I love about "Murder in..." is its ideal equilibrium of realistic diagnosis with hope of new life. You see this in almost every episode. Moreover, the natural beauty of the locales is intoxicatingly captured by the rich photography. It's "Mockingbird" en France! P.S. 3eme d'une fratrie de 4, Thomas grandit dans le Béarn, plus précisément à Laruns. Biberonné au rugby, il fait ses premiers pas dans le club du village avant de filer en Benjamins du coté d'Arudy, évoluant au cœur d'une magnifique génération. Bon joueur, il est recruté en Cadets par la Section Paloise y progresse jusqu'en Top 16 !  Pas forcément mis en confiance, il s'engage alors suite à un véritable concours de circonstances avec le club d'Albi. Dès lors, sa carrière décolle véritablement ! Pierre angulaire des compositions d'Eric Béchu, il vit l'ascension du club jusqu'au Top 14 en 2006, mais également sa descente administrative 2 ans plus tard. C'est alors qu'il s'engage au Castres Olympique où il reste 5 saisons, devenant Champion de France en 2013 ! À 33 ans, en 2015, Thomas ponctue sa carrière pro après 2 belles années du côté de Brive. Même s'il a arrêté d'arpenter les terrains de Top 14, Thomas n'a pour autant pas abandonné les crampons et reste très proche des pelouses de la vallée d'Ossau. Grand sportif et ayant toujours besoin de se dépenser, il articule sa vie entre son entreprise de maçonnerie, le rugby et la chasse. Mais vous le découvrirez bien vite, sa priorité demeure le bien être de sa famille. Thomas est pour ainsi dire : "nature, peinture" et je me suis régalé en sa compagnie ! C'était un moment totalement à son image : simple, agréable, et sans faux semblant. Bonne écoute ! -----------------------------

Entre obstruction et polémiques, le palais Bourbon sort donc de deux semaines d'ébullition. En déposant des milliers d'amendements, la Nupes a tenté de reprendre la maîtrise du temps, une stratégie qui a interrogé et divisé au sein même de la coalition de gauche. L'écologique Sandrine Rousseau a estimé hier que l'article central du texte, le numéro 7, aurait dû être débattu, fustigeant la ligne soutenue par Jean-Luc Mélenchon consistant à ne pas se presser, un « raté stratégique » aux yeux du groupe écologistes. Dernière image de cette ambiance chaotique dans l'hémicycle : le chant de plusieurs élus insoumis hier soir, reprenant devant les journalistes un air souvent entendu dans les mobilisations de Gilets Jaunes. Fin d'un premier acte qui a constrasté avec l'esprit bon enfant de la mobilisation intersyndicale. À droite, la division dans les rangs LR continue aussi de faire rage dans ce débat parlementaire. Dernier rebondissement en date : le numéro deux des Républicains, Aurélien Pradié, a été démis de ses fonctions par Éric Ciotti. Le chef du parti a dénoncé une « aventure personnelle » du député du Lot qui s'oppose à une parti de cette réforme des retraites. Pendant ce temps, Marine Le Pen regarde les balles passer. En ayant déposé moins d'amendements que la majorité elle-même, le Rassemblement National semble s'être mis à distance du débat, une stratégie de la « planque » aux yeux de nombreux observateurs. La motion de censure que le RN a déposé cette semaine a elle été rejetée hier soir en ne recueillant que 89 voix. À l'opposé de ces tensions, la mobilisation intersyndicale se fait donc dans l'unité et le pacifisme. Jeudi dernier, les deux principaux leaders syndicaux, Philippe Martinez (CGT) et Laurent Berger (CFDT) affichait leur entente à Albi qui représente et symbolise la colère palpable des villes moyennes. 55.000 manifestants ont été annoncés par les organisateurs, plus que les 50.000 habitants que compte la ville. Il n'y a pas qu'en France que les grèves font l'actualité. En Angleterre, celles-ci durent depuis des mois. Avec un pouvoir d'achat en chute libre et des factures énergétiques qui flambent, c'est tout un pays qui se retrouve plongé en pleine crise. Au NHS, le système de santé britannique, la mobilisation s'intensifie encore. Alors, que retenir de ces deux semaines de débats à l'Assemblée ? La stratégie de la Nupes a-t-elle été la bonne ? Les dirigeants syndicaux se trouvaient à Albi, symbolisant l'engagement important des villes moyennes. A la veille de la fin des débats à l'Assemblée nationale, doit-on se préparer à un blocage du pays ?

D'ici là, une cinquième journée de mobilisation est prévue ce jeudi 16 février. Les leaders syndicaux ont choisi de manifester ensemble à Albi, ville moyenne fortement mobilisée depuis le début de la contestation, "pour appuyer l'ancrage fort de ce mouvement partout sur le territoire, dans les petites villes comme dans les plus grandes". Les syndicats qui réclament qu'à l'Assemblée, l'article 7 repoussant l'âge de départ de 62 ans à 64 ans soit débattu, comptent également toute cette semaine "interpeller" les parlementaires de l'arc républicain pour qu'ils mesurent "leur responsabilité". Les députés ont en effet jusqu'à vendredi minuit pour examiner le texte en première lecture. Près de 16 000 amendements doivent encore être étudiés, majoritairement déposés par la Nupes, et l'ambiance ne s'annonce par meilleure que la semaine dernière. Alors arriveront-ils jusqu'à l'article 7 ? Maîtres des horloges avec leurs milliers d'amendements, les élus de la Nupes imposent désormais le tempo de l'examen du texte. En défendant leurs amendements ou en les retirant, ils ont la possibilité de faire traîner les débats ou de les accélérer. Ce que réclament en choeur les syndicats. Dimanche, le secrétaire général de la CFDT, Laurent Berger, a dénoncé sur RTL la "connerie" de l'obstruction, visant La France insoumise à l'origine de la grande majorité des amendements déposés. Du côté du gouvernement, plusieurs ministres ont également demandé ce lundi le retrait des milliers d'amendements et la patronne des députés Renaissance d'expliquer : "Il faut qu'il y ait un vote solennel. On a fait nos comptes, ça passe. Il y aura quelques défections chez les LR mais très peu, ils ne peuvent pas refuser à l'Assemblée nationale ce qu'ils font voter tous les ans au Sénat [le recul de l'âge légal à 64 ans, NDLR]". Que va faire la Nupes ? A gauche, on tient également à ce qu'un débat ait lieu dans l'hémicycle, alors en fin de semaine les députés de la Nupes pourraient décider de retirer massivement leurs amendements pour que l'article 7 soit discuté mais pas voté. Toute la difficulté pour la Nupes est de parvenir à prolonger suffisamment les débats pour que le vote ne puisse pas avoir lieu, afin de ne pas offrir au gouvernement une éventuelle victoire qui pourrait décourager les prochaines mobilisations dans la rue. Sachant que vendredi à minuit, les débats seront clos, et l'ensemble du texte sera transmis, avec ou sans vote, au Sénat à partir du 6 mars. D'ailleurs ce lundi, plusieurs députés LFI ont assuré à Franceinfo que les amendements du groupe ne seraient pas massivement retirés avant mardi. La bataille parlementaire se poursuit donc, avec aujourd'hui la question de l'emploi des salariés âgés, et une rafale d'amendements dans tous les camps. Six femmes de l'entourage de la famille de Mohamed Merah ont été interpellées par les enquêteurs de la sous-direction anti-terroriste à Toulouse et Albi ce mardi. She moved back to the UK in 2013, to take up clinical-academic positions at the University of Oxford and subsequently Newcastle University, and concurrently completed a Residency in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia with the European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, during which she became increasingly interested in how pain re-models the nervous system and this can manifest as behavioral problems in pets.Dr Murphy founded, and is now Director of, Barking Brains Ltd (a neuroscience outreach platform for the animal behavior and training community), which focuses on translating neuroscientific information into practical and useful information for people interested in animal behavior. In order to maximize the impact of her diverse interests and skill set, Dr Murphy teamed up with Behavior Vets LLC in 2022 as the new Chief Scientific Officer. She is now able to focus on her new found passion for science communication and providing evidence based, up to date, accessible, scientific information to clinicians, animal professionals and their clients, about subjects related to pain, behavior, neurobiology and the many interrelated factors.In addition to Dr Murphy's primary career roles she was Trustee and Veterinary Advisor to the Rottweiler Welfare Association for 14 years; is co-founder of Ethics First (a collective which lobbies for ethical decision making in clinical practice); is an Oversight Committee Member for the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter; sits on numerous National and International boards, working groups and ethical review panels; is an ad-hoc reviewer for neuroscience, veterinary medicine and anesthesia and pain journals; and continues to collaborate on research projects. Have you heard the Cathars? It is a religion that thrived in the Southwest of France for 100 years during the Middle Ages, then disappeared in a violent crusade.
