Albi takes his dad to court over screen time, and it turns out the defence has just bought a field. Albi gets screens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus holidays, and he's asking for one more day. He isn't after unlimited Minecraft, just one extra. Dad's case is that they live in the beautiful Peak District, there are a thousand books in the house and there's a brand new field to be getting on with. Then Albi points out that Dad is on his phone every single morning reading the news, and Dad admits he's right… Then Sean from Fun Kids takes Robot to court for losing the Fun Kids Top 100 Disney Songs list. Robot's brain was hacked, which he insists wasn't his fault. Sean says it was entirely his fault, because Robot's password was Robo101. Sean wants five years in prison. Ce 24 août 1572 est un jeudi et c'est la Saint-Barthélemy. Depuis quatre heures du matin, à Paris, la cloche de l'église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois sonne. C'est le signal. En quelques minutes, les rues de la capitale deviennent un piège mortel. Le massacre de la Saint-Barthélemy vient de commencer. Les premières cibles sont les chefs protestants venus en ombre à Paris pour assister quelques jours plus tôt, souvenez-vous, au mariage entre Henri de Navarre, prince Huguenot, c'est-à-dire protestant, et Marguerite de Valois, sœur du roi de France. Un mariage censé sceller la réconciliation entre catholiques et protestants après des années de guerre civile. Mais la paix est fragile. Le peuple parisien, massivement catholique, gronde. Les prêcheurs fanatiques enflamment les foules à la cour. Catherine de Médicis, la reine-mère, s'inquiète de l'influence croissante des protestants sur son fils, le roi Charles IX. Le 22 août, un attentat manque de peu. L'amiral de Colligny, chef militaire et politique du parti Huguenot, est brièvement blessé. Les protestants crient au complot. Paris devient une poudrière. Dans la nuit du 23 au 24 août, le roi donne son accord. A contre-cœur, mais il donne son accord. « Il faut éliminer les chefs protestants, dit-on, pour éviter la guerre". Mais ce sera un carnage. Dans les premières heures, Colligny est arraché de son lit, poignardé, défenestré. Puis la violence se répand, hors de tout contrôle. Les milices, les ligueurs, les artisans, les voisins, Paris se mettent à traquer, à égorger, à jeter les corps dans la Seine. Les maisons protestantes sont marquées d'une croix blanche à la craie, des meurtres faits au nom de Dieu. Le roi Henri de Navarre et le prince de Condé, eux, sont épargnés de justesse, mais forcés de se convertir au catholicisme. Le massacre, loin de s'arrêter à Paris, se propage dans les jours suivants à Orléans, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Rouen, Meaux, Albi. De bilans impossibles à établir précisément, les historiens avancent des chiffres allant de dix mille à trente mille morts en quelques semaines. Et les conséquences ? La rupture est totale entre les deux camps. Le massacre ruine l'image de la monarchie française à travers l'Europe, les princes protestants étrangers s'indignent, le pape Grégoire XIII, lui, fait frapper une médaille pour célébrer l'événement. La guerre de religion reprend, plus dure, plus amère encore. Mais la mémoire de la Saint-Barthélemy, elle, ne s'effacera jamais. Elle devient un traumatisme national, un symbole du fanatisme religieux, de la trahison politique, de l'horreur humaine. Le 24 août 1572, la France a rompu avec elle-même. Une odeur de fumée dans le Haut-Rhin. Les fumées des importants feux de forêt qui ravagent la Gironde ont été transportées jusqu'en Alsace par un flux de sud-ouest. La préfecture du Haut-Rhin précise qu'il est inutile d'appeler les secours en l'absence de flammes ou de fumées visibles. En revanche, tout départ de feu doit être signalé. Ces fumées pourraient entraîner un épisode de pollution aux particules fines. Des pompiers alsaciens se sont d'ailleurs mobilisés. Ils sont près de 80 à être partis en renfort dans le Var et en Gironde. Les futurs billets en euro pourraient avoir un petit air d'Alsace. La Banque centrale européenne a lancé une consultation pour choisir le design de la prochaine série de billets. Parmi les propositions figurent la cigogne blanche sur le billet de 50 euros et le Parlement européen de Strasbourg sur celui de 5 euros. Les citoyens de la zone euro ont jusqu'au 21 septembre pour voter. Cette nouvelle série de billets remplacera progressivement celle en circulation depuis 2002.L'Ecomusée d'Alsace cherche un nouveau souffle. Placé en procédure de sauvegarde début juillet en raison de difficultés financières, l'Ecomusée d'Alsace à Ungersheim pourrait devenir un établissement public d'ici la fin de l'année. Cette évolution permettrait de renforcer le soutien des collectivités pour assurer la pérennité du plus grand musée à ciel ouvert de France, qui accueille chaque année près de 200 000 visiteurs. La direction et les partenaires publics disposent de 6 mois pour définir un nouveau modèle économique. Un bâtiment historique de Vogelgrun ravagé par les flammes. Dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche, l'ancien presbytère catholique a été détruit par un incendie. Le bâtiment inoccupé depuis plusieurs années s'est embrasé peu après 1H30 du matin. Plus de 30 pompiers ont été mobilisés pendant plusieurs heures. Six bouteilles de gaz ont été retirées à temps, évitant une explosion. Aucun blessé n'est à déplorer mais le bâtiment présente un risque d'effondrement. L'origine du feu reste inconnue. Et on termine ce journal par un mot de sport. Aux championnats de France d'athlétisme à Albi, le Mulhousien Théo Schaub est devenu champion de France du 100 mètres en 10 secondes 38. Il devance le Strasbourgeois Jeff Erius, offrant un doublé alsacien sur l'épreuve du sprint. Une troisième médaille pour l'Alsace après le titre de Pauline Stey sur 10 kilomètres marche. Porque aquí Half Man deja de preguntarse únicamente qué ocurrió entre Ruben, Niall y Albi… y empieza a explorar algo muchísimo más incómodo: qué pasa cuando una víctima lleva tanto tiempo sobreviviendo dentro de una dinámica tóxica que ya no sabe quién sería fuera de ella. Hablamos de todo lo que ocurre en este nuevo salto al pasado, desde la graduación de Niall y la presión constante de Lori hasta el juicio que termina marcando el futuro de todos los personajes. Analizamos cómo la serie desmonta poco a poco la imagen que teníamos de Niall , cómo empieza a revelarse su dependencia emocional hacia Ruben… y por qué protegerlo deja de sentirse únicamente como miedo para convertirse en algo muchísimo más complicado y doloroso. También nos detenemos en el papel de Joanna, probablemente el personaje más importante emocionalmente en este episodio. Comentamos cómo su relación con Now funciona como una especie de refugio emocional y, al mismo tiempo, como una actuación constante de heterosexualidad. Porque este capítulo insiste muchísimo en la idea de la identidad como performance: personajes que interpretan versiones de sí mismos para sobrevivir, para encajar o simplemente para no enfrentarse a lo que realmente sienten. Por supuesto, analizamos en profundidad a Ruben: su necesidad enfermiza de control, la forma en que utiliza la masculinidad como escudo emocional y cómo la serie empieza a insinuar el trauma que hay detrás de toda esa violencia. Hablamos de la conversación en el bosque, de la tensión durante el trayecto en coche y de cómo Albi representa exactamente aquello que Ruben jamás pudo permitirse ser: alguien libre, visible y cómodo con su identidad. Comentamos también todas las escenas clave del episodio, desde la llegada de Ruben a la boda y el miedo que sigue provocando años después, hasta la cena familiar con Lori y Joanna, el encuentro con Albi, la conversación sobre Oxford y, por supuesto, todo el tramo final del juicio. Analizamos cómo la tensión emocional se acumula lentamente hasta explotar en ese momento devastador donde Niall finalmente rompe el relato y admite que mintió. Si dijesemos que Gustavo Durán (Barcelona, 1906) ha vivido una vida plena y safisfactoria, estaríamos limitandole. Porque vivió muchas más. Con una infancia marcada por la ausencia de su madre en casa, no tardaron en aparecer las inquietudes musicales y sentimentales. Se formo en el Real Conservatorio de Madrid y se codeó con la Generación del 27. Su hija Lucy Durán afirma que su padre y Lorca fueron amantes, que ambos se dedicaron poemas y partituras. No fue el único ni el último. Cuando estalló la Guerra Civil, Durán militó en el ejercito republicano, y escapó por el puerto de Gandia rumbo a Londres en 1939. Alli empezó su segunda vida junto con la norteamericana Bronte Crompton, con la que tuvo tres hijas. Emigraron a Estados Unidos, y empezó la tercera vida de Durán como diplomatico en las Naciones Unidas, perseguido por la caza de brujas. Salvó al pueblo de Alones, en la isla de Creta (Grecia), donde yace enterrado. A través de todas estas vidas se cruza de manera transversal la música. Nunca dejó de componer. A través de sus canciones, Durán encontró un refugio donde poder expresar los silencios que guardaba: la bisexualidad, la presión, la nostalgia de una España a la que nunca volvió... En este 'Viaje de Ida', Pepe Rubio navega por la vida de Gustavo Durán para conocer cada uno de sus pliegues. Deuxième d'une fratrie de 11 enfants, Yogane grandit dans un quartier de Mantes la Jolie. Il découvre le rugby à l'adolescence et fait rapidement montre de qualités physiques hors nomes. S'en suit une saison à Montauban, avant qu'il ne rejoigne le club dans lequel il construira l'essentiel de sa magnifique carrière : le Sporting Club Albigeois. Pour cause, il deviendra l'un des fers de lance du monstrueux pack Jaune et Noir des années Éric Béchu puis Henry Broncan !Retraité des terrains à plus de 40 ans, Yogane est un véritable modèle de longévité et d'abnégation. Toujours installé dans le Tarn, il jongle dorénavant entre son travail et ses diverses occupations. Cédric Jubillar est condamné à 30 ans de prison pour le meurtre de son épouse, Delphine, née Delphine Aussaguel.L'infirmière de nuit de 33 ans, avait disparu de chez elle, à Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), dans la nuit du 15 au 16 décembre 2020. Elle n'a jamais été retrouvée.Un faisceau d'indices a conduit les enquêteurs à suspecter Cédric Jubillar qui lui, a toujours clamé son innocence. Les jurés de la cour d'assises du Tarn l'ont reconnu coupable après un procès exceptionnel de quatre semaines. Jean-François de Galaup, comte de La Pérouse, est l'un des grands explorateurs français du XVIIIᵉ siècle, resté célèbre autant pour ses découvertes que pour sa disparition mystérieuse. Né en 1741 à Albi, il se distingue très tôt dans la marine royale, notamment pendant la guerre de Sept Ans. Courageux, cultivé, apprécié de ses hommes, il attire l'attention du roi Louis XVI, passionné de géographie et d'exploration.En 1785, le souverain lui confie une mission prestigieuse : réaliser une expédition scientifique et cartographique autour du monde, dans l'esprit des voyages de James Cook. À bord de deux frégates, La Boussole et L'Astrolabe, La Pérouse embarque avec des marins, des savants, des ingénieurs et des artistes. L'objectif est triple : cartographier des terres inconnues, étudier les peuples rencontrés, et enrichir les connaissances scientifiques de la France.Pendant trois ans, son voyage est un succès. La Pérouse explore le Chili, l'île de Pâques, Hawaï, l'Alaska, la Californie, le Kamtchatka, le Japon, la Corée, les Philippines, les Samoa et l'Australie. Il décrit avec précision les rivages, les sociétés rencontrées et recueille d'innombrables données scientifiques. Ses lettres et journaux, envoyés au fur et à mesure, passionnent l'Europe éclairée.Mais en 1788, après avoir quitté Botany Bay en Australie, les navires disparaissent. Pendant près de quarante ans, leur sort demeure un mystère. La légende naît : où est passé La Pérouse ? A-t-il sombré en mer, été massacré par des insulaires, ou s'est-il réfugié sur une île perdue ?Ce n'est qu'en 1826 que l'on retrouve des traces de l'expédition. L'explorateur irlandais Peter Dillon découvre des débris aux îles Vanikoro, dans l'archipel des Salomon. Les navires de La Pérouse s'y seraient fracassés sur les récifs. Quelques survivants auraient vécu quelque temps avec les habitants avant de disparaître définitivement.La Pérouse incarne depuis l'archétype de l'explorateur romantique : savant, marin courageux, mais englouti par le mystère. Son nom demeure dans la toponymie mondiale – le détroit de La Pérouse entre Sakhaline et Hokkaidō, ou encore le cap La Pérouse à Hawaï.Aujourd'hui, son destin fascine toujours : à la fois triomphe scientifique et tragédie humaine, son expédition symbolise la soif de découvertes des Lumières, mais aussi les dangers immenses que réservait l'océan au XVIIIᵉ siècle.
