The recent speech by Microsoft EVP, Experiences + Devices, Rajesh Jha, at the Barclays Global Technology Conference provided a glimpse into the company's strategic focus on generative AI. According to Jha, the last quarter has seen generative AI rise as a potentially revolutionary tech force which might outpace the magnitude of previous tech progress. Microsoft seems to be placing itself at the crest of this wave, if we infer from its concentration in this domain, and as evidenced by its launch of GPT-4. Spotting the application of generative AI in Microsoft's offerings, one cannot bypass the Microsoft 365 Copilot, which has been pivotal in heightening productivity and optimizing workflows across a diverse range of use scenarios. Spanning aid during meetings and information summarization to the enhancement of work output quality, the Copilot's value proposition has been mainly about labor reduction and total productivity enhancement. The ability of Microsoft to democratize AI, as they have stated, reflects in the effortless blend of AI capabilities into existing user experiences - a case in point being the Windows operating system. From a future perspective, Microsoft has plans to sustain its generative AI investments, aiming to stimulate user interfaces and experiences in line with the ongoing evolution of AI, focusing especially on natural language processing and multimodal interactions. Collaboration stands central to this strategy, particularly with partners and developers, to propel the Microsoft 365 Copilot's abilities and to stimulate innovation within a strong platform ecosystem. On the whole, these developments suggest a strong commitment from Microsoft Corporation to exploit AI augmentation's possibilities. These objectives show a harmonious intersection of generative AI and Microsoft's future vision, setting the scene for transformative progress in the years to come. This is of course based on claims made during the Barclays Global Technology Conference. We look forward to observing their progress. Tata group's iPhone components factory in Hosur, near Bengaluru, is set to employ 60,000 workers, with a large proportion being women, Press Trust of India reports, citing Telecom and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. SoftBank Group is set to sell part of its 12.9 percent stake in Paytm in a transaction that will fetch the Japanese telecom and internet investor at least $200 million, Mint reports. And Microsoft and NVIDIA have teamed up to build a supercomputer to train AI models. Notes: The biggest factory to manufacture Apple iPhones in India is coming up at Hosur near Bengaluru, which will employ around 60,000 people, Telecom and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Tuesday, Press Trust of India reports. The minister was speaking at a ceremony that was part of India's ongoing celebrations of tribals, the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas. “Apple's iPhone is now getting made in India and it's the biggest plant in India, being set up at Hosur near Bengaluru. 60,000 people work in a single factory. The first 6,000 employees of these 60,000 employees are our tribal sisters from places nearby Ranchi and Hazaribagh. Tribal sisters have been trained to make Apple iPhone,” the minister said, according to the report. Apple has outsourced the manufacturing of iPhone enclosures to Tata group, which has a plant at Hosur, where the Indian conglomerate was previously reported to be hiring 40,000 workers. SoftBank Group will sell a third of its stake in One97 Communications Ltd, the owner of the Paytm payments app, through a $200 million block deal, Mint reports, citing deal terms it has reviewed. SoftBank, the Japanese internet and telecom investor that owns 12.9 percent of Paytm, plans to sell 29 million shares or 4.5 percent of the fintech company on Thursday, according to Mint. The shares are being offered to institutional investors at ₹555-601.45. At the lower end of the band, it is a 7.7 percent discount to the closing price of ₹601.3 on Wednesday. If completed, the sale will fetch SoftBank at least ₹1,628.9 crore or $200 million. Microsoft and NVIDIA yesterday announced a multi-year collaboration to build one of the most powerful AI supercomputers in the world, combining Azure's advanced supercomputing infrastructure and NVIDIA GPUs, networking and AI software. These new computers will help enterprises train, deploy and scale AI, including large, state-of-the-art models, NVIDIA said in a press release. As part of the collaboration, NVIDIA will use Azure's scalable virtual machine instances to research and further advance generative AI, an emerging area of AI related to foundational models involving unsupervised, self-learning algorithms to create new text, code, digital images, video or audio. Evernote, the notetaking and task management app founded over 20 years ago, whose elephant icon was familiar to millions of users, has been acquired by Milan-based app developer Bending Spoons. In a post on Evernote's newsroom, Evernote CEO Ian Small said that Bending Spoons will take ownership of Evernote in a transaction expected to close in early 2023, TechCrunch reports. For Evernote, the acquisition — the terms of which weren't made public — marks the end of a roller coaster of a journey, TechCrunch notes. Join the Bonus Accessory crew every Friday as they dive head first into all things Xbox, Xbox Game Pass, & PC gaming. Microsoft is no stranger to the studio acquisition game, nor to Destiny & original Halo developer Bungie, but with reports of acquisitions conversations between the two taking place, the question is: why? So this week, we examine the actual validity & likelihood of Bungie falling under Microsoft wing again, the understandably high asking price that the developer was rumored to have, & how fans may misinterpret pretty standard business practices as cold hard fact. Plus, Microsoft has confirmed that games will be clocking in at smaller download sizes on the Xbox Series S thanks to Smart Delivery and the Velocity Architecture, but with the PS5’s digital only option now officially being priced quite aggressively, does the reasoning behind Microsoft’s entry level option still make as much sense for consumers as it did last week? Also, Hogwarts Legacy, WB Games’ new title centered in the world of Harry Potter that was leaked over two years ago, has finally been officially revealed and supposedly it was a big reason why WB has eased off of a potential sale of its gaming assets. Does Hogwarts Legacy have the potential magic to be the mega hit WB thinks it can be, and will the horrible comments made by JK Rowling have both a financial & PR impact on the project? All of this, and much more, on the newest episode of the Game Pass Gamecast! Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications to be the first to listen to new episodes as soon as they drop every Friday!

No i procent spada powoli poniżej pięćdziesięciu. Tymczasem zachęcam do odsłuchania trzynastego odcinka, w którym mamy obszerny kącik newsowy, bebechowo, omawiamy BNA, Japan Sinks, Dorohedoro i Fairy Tail. A do tego Piotr zdradza nam swoje odczucie z użytkowania nowo zakupionego Switcha. Bawmy się! UWAGA, sypiemy SPOILER'AMI na lewo i prawo. Nie ma taryfy ulgowej!
