And the bow tie brand is releasing a handful of cool new color options for the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. Trims And Prices: 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer Starting at $23,395 the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer is being offered in four main trim options. 2023 Chevy Trailblazer trims & MSRPs: LS $23,395 LT $25,595 ACVTIV $27,495 RS $27,495 Interestingly the top two trims share the same starting MSRP. That's because the ACTIV is configured to lean toward off-roading.  Whereas the RS leans more on-road.  But they're otherwise equivalently equipped. Engines, Transmissions & Fuel Economy Chevrolet offers two different 3-cylinder engines in its 2023 Trailblazer.  That's right.  One, two, three-cylinders. Different but efficient for sure.  Here are those options: 2023 Trailblazer 3-Cylinder Engines 1.2L Turbo - 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque 1.3L Turbo - 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque Transmissions There are also two different transmissions available for the 2023 Trailblazer. There's a continuously variable transmission.  And a 9-speed automatic transmission. The CVT is offered on the 1.2L turbo and the 1.3L turbo with FWD.  And the 9-speed auto trans comes on the 1.3L with AWD. MPG And Trailblazer shines in the fuel economy department.  Delivering up to 33 mpg on the highway. Here's the breakdown by engine and transmission configuration. EPA Fuel-Economy Estimates: 1.2L FWD 29/31 1.3L FWD 29/33 1.3L AWD 26/30 *All city/highway Trailblazer has a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 pounds.  And the crossover's curb weight varies. Depending on the configuration it weighs in between 4,189 and 4,409 lbs. FWD or AWD fuel efficiency What's The 2023 Chevy Trailblazer Look Like? Trailblazer punches above its weight class when it comes to style. Reminiscent of the entire Chevy lineup now.  Looking back, when it was first rolling off assembly lines, it was signally Chevy's design direction. And that's undeniably attractive.  Sporty, athletic, and yet still Chevrolet by all appearances.  Perhaps one of Trailblazer's most telling aesthetics is its white roof. Exterior Dimensions: Wheelbase 103.9 Length 173.5 Height 65.2 to 65.7 Width 71.2 Track: Front 61.2 Rear 61.3 Ground clearance 7.5 * All inches. As a subcompact, Trailblazer is easy to maneuver.  Especially in congested traffic settings or tight parking areas. But it's still spacious inside. Up to 54.4 cu-ft of cargo space Inside The 2023 Chevy Trailblazer Trailblazer's interior is well laid out as well as spacious.  Notably for a subcompact crossover. Chevy's been doing a great job throughout its lineup with the user interface of its cockpits.  And Trailblazer follows suit. Although there are loads of tech options and features.  Everything is easy to use and intuitive.  Logically laid out for the average daily driver. Interior Dimensions: Headroom Front 38.3 to 40.0 Rear 36.8 to 38.4 Legroom Front 40.9 Rear 39.4 Shoulder room Front 55.4 Rear 53.8 Hip room Front 52.3 Rear 50.4 *All inches. And there's plenty of cargo area for luggage and hauling stuff.  Behind the backseats, there are 25.3 cubic feet in the cargo area.

According to the California New Car Dealers Association, the overall market was 507,646 (down 4.3% year-over-year from 530,402) and the forecast for 2020 is quite depressing - 1.54 million vehicles." Says Teslarati: "Just like door handles, it is very inconvenient to deal with a charging port that’s frozen solid. Tesla owners have dealt with this issue in a variety of ways, such as preheating their vehicles for some time to melt away the ice. But for the Model Y, Tesla has adopted a heated charging port, which should proactively avoid ice from building up. It wasn’t that Toyota announced a plug-in hybrid version of the RAV4 called the RAV4 Prime – that was expected. What we didn’t expect was that it would pack 302 combined horsepower (225 kilotwatts) and hit 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. That’s not exactly slow, and now we know how much it will cost to have a hot-rod Toyota SUV that’s also good on gas." reports Motor1: "The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime starts at $38,100, not including $1,120 in destination and delivery charges. It's seen as compelling to many, not only because it's a Mercedes crossover, but also because it should work well to compete with Tesla. It was supposed to launch in the U.S. soon, if not already, but the EV has been delayed until 2021. Perhaps once the EQC is available on our 'SUV-friendly' shores, it will find more success." Says InsideEVs: "In the meantime, according to Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority, the luxury automaker only sold 397 EQC's in 2019, following by just 276 so far this year in its home country.  Mercedes hasn't officially reported these sales figures, so they could be better or worse officially. However, even if they're within a range of some 500 to 1,500 sales, the situation is clearly dire. This is especially true since Mercedes has been promoting the vehicle heavily, and has plans to produce some 50,000 units this year. Despite the global pandemic, EV sales have been respectable, if not solid, in Germany and Europe. More details...  this was after the scrubbed SpaceX launch yesterday.  I was at the Melbourne, FL supercharger.  I was standing next to my car when a white Model X backed into a stall two cars down. I looked over as the passenger door opens and I see ... I see him get out and he starts walking towards me.  I’m obviously surprised and he definitely sees that.  I blurt out “Elon?”, and he smiles and continues to walk towards me.  He says ... He says something to the effect of “thank you for being a Tesla owner and supporting the mission."  A small crowd begins to form.  We talked about the scrubbed launch, the Model Y, and auto insurance in FL.  Someone then... congratulated him on the birth of his son and he looks over at his Model X and said “thank you, he’s in the car.”  At some point the Falcon doors open and out comes Grimes to hand him a mask!  He stuffs it in his pocket as she hurries back to the car. He stayed and talked for at least 15 minutes.  He was super friendly and seemed genuinely interested to hear what people had to say.  Super duper cool guy.  It was an absolutely amazing experience! He arrived in a white Model X, followed by another white Model X.   Notice the line of men in black suits in the background. Elon’s security duty.   NEW AUDI CEO SETTING UP ARTEMIS PROJECT "Two months after taking office as the new CEO at Audi, Markus Duesmann is establishing a unit for the accelerated development of additional automobile models. Artemis will focus on new technologies for electric, highly automated driving with a specific model reference. Its first task is to create a highly efficient electric car that is scheduled to be on the road as early as 2024. " according to Green Car Congress: "Hitzinger will work with a team of automotive and technology experts to—as a first step—“develop a pioneering model for Audi quickly and unbureaucratically,” says Duesmann. Resources and technologies of the entire Volkswagen Group are potentially available for this. Duesmann and his Volkswagen Group colleagues also expect the Artemis project to provide a blueprint for the future agile development of cars throughout the Volkswagen Group."   https://www.greencarcongress.com/2020/05/20200530-artemis.html   LARGEST ELECTRIC AIRPLANE YET TAKES OFF IN THE USA "The companies magniX and AeroTEC have announced the successful maiden flight of the allegedly world’s largest all-electric aircraft, an all-electric Cessna Grand Caravan 208B. The half-hour flight in the US state of Washington apparently went without a hitch." Says elective: " The aircraft is an 18-year-old Cessna Grand Caravan, which was converted to an electric propulsion system with a magni500 electric motor by the engineering firm AeroTEC.  The goal is to be able to fly the distance of 160 kilometers with full load by the end of 2021. The Cessna Grand Caravan 208B can carry a maximum of 14 passengers – instead of four to five in the eCaravan at present. This is to be made possible by new batteries, such as lithium sulfur batteries.
