On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT breaks down why Georgia doesn't need Gunner Stockton to be flashy to win big — they've built dynasties with QBs way less talented. Then he calls his shot: Texas is the most complete team in college football and should be the title favorite heading into the season. Colorado's offense is undergoing a total identity shift, and the Kaidon Salter era might just cook. Plus, ESPN's FPI is straight-up disrespecting Oklahoma and Florida, and JT's not letting that slide. And finally, early LSU vs Clemson thoughts and why the media keeps underestimating what Bill Belichick could do at the college level — trust, the game would get flipped upside down.
We saw the FPI rankings last week, but if you look at the projected records, here are some that stand out: Penn State, Ohio State and Oregon all at 10-2; Michigan and USC at 8-4; Nebraska, Indiana and Washington at 7-5; and Illinois at 6-6 Why are the rankings so low on Illinois, who some believe could be a playoff contender? South Carolina certainly has a shot at making the College Football Playoff in 2025. ESPN's FPI, whch leaves a lot to be desired but is worth a mention, has the Gamecocks' chances at 20.3 percent, which is high for South Carolina in the preseason. But is it playoff or bust even if quarterback LaNorris Sellers has a great year and this is his last one? JC Shurburtt dives into the topic. On this lively episode of the Five Heart Podcast, Greg and Minnie bring high-energy Husker talk to a Thursday night livestream packed with laughs, memories, and fandom. The show kicks off with lighthearted banter about Minnie's recent appearances on other podcasts, including a guest spot on Locked On Spartans where Nebraska and Michigan State's parallel struggles were compared. Greg and Minnie revisit infamous Husker special teams failures and poke fun at Nebraska's long snapper being a top portal pickup. The heart of the episode focuses on Ndamukong Suh's candidacy for the College Football Hall of Fame. The hosts dive deep into Suh's Nebraska stats, highlight-reel plays like his domination in the 2009 Big 12 Championship, and reflect on his recruitment and NFL career. They also tease an exclusive YouTube members-only Suh watch-along and celebrate new YouTube subscribers with an over-the-top jingle (and a cheeky Blue Chew plug). Later, the duo preview ESPN's early FPI rankings, dissect the absurd SEC bias, and discuss Nebraska's presence in the Top 25. The show wraps with recruiting updates, Husker baseball departures, and a hilarious “Five Heart Theater,” a trivia sketch featuring versions of chat regulars.

Giving us more time to recap the fight pass invitational. In the recap section we discussed Ffion Davies defeating Adele Fornarino by split decision. We discussed some of the dynamics of the match across all three rounds and addressed some of our frustrations with the closed scoring used under the unified rules. In Ana Carolina Vieira win over Raquel Canuto by unanimous decision we discussed some of the takedowns and guillotine attempts that were able to win in Carolina the match. We broke down William Tackett submission over Achilles Rocha using an unorthodox takedown sequence into a rear naked choke finish. In Mason Fowler vs Christiano Troisi we talked about the submission a near Iminari choke from the omaplata after a quick rubber guard transition from Fowler. We also briefly discussed that Mason may be the best rubber guard player in the sport right now. We discussed the draw that took place between Francisco Lo and Enrico Beltran. We broke down the attacking sequences in Alex Enriquez vs Shye Lilly that saw Alex take the match with a great armbar transition in round 2. We discussed Keven Carrasco Teepee Choke submission win in round 1 over Sebastian Oyervidez Plus discussed João Assonitis counter heel hook win over Daniel Maira after countering a toe hold attempt. RJ Bell, Steve Fezzik, Scott Seidenberg and Mackenzie Rivers talk all things NFL and NBA this week. The guys get into an interesting discussion about the Roman Empire. Best bets as always. The Dream Podcast delivers a high-level breakdown of NFL power rankings, survivor contest strategies, and NBA playoff betting trends, hosted by RJ Bell with sharp insights from Steve Fezzik, Mackenzie Rivers, and Scott Seidenberg. Fezzik also shares deep game theory around Circa's $100K survivor contest, including how to leverage Week 1 volatility with rebuy options. The podcast shifts to the NBA, where the Thunder's statistical dominance is dissected—highlighting their 18-4 ATS record in Game 1s and home/road performance splits. Mackenzie outlines SGA's MVP-level production and long-term franchise upside, while debating futures odds and playoff series pricing. A philosophical detour explores Harvard's political pressures, the Roman Empire's fall, and human prehistory, adding narrative flair. The episode wraps with college football projections, where Fezzik bets North Carolina under 7.5 wins due to program turmoil. RJ closes with three NFL best bets: Detroit, Rams, and Raiders, using advanced scheduling and power rating logic. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
