We're caught here in the musical language of the Earth, which can caress us or unleash natural disasters at us, but the Earth is saying something and we need to hear it. It does feel too late. And sometimes our Earthchxrch singing slides into a dirge. Usually, we are ecstatic and our neighborhood sees us in the windows acting like holy rollers. The Earth is our musical teacher, our maestro. When we sing “Death Makes the Sun Rise” in the lobby of a fossil bank like JPMorgan Chase, we like to think the Earth is smiling.

We premiere new music from mïus as he presents his newest single, ‘Last Time Ft. Raf Skowroński', on Budapest based imprint Théque Records. ‘Last Time' is a deep and smokey trip through quivering synth lines and melancholic vocals, specifically designed for big rooms. Exploratory Electronic musician mïus announces unleashes his latest single, ‘Last Time Ft. Raf Skowroński', from his forthcoming album Abstrakt on Théque Records. The track follows his previously released singles ‘Feather' and ‘Slow Burn' ft. HALOSARA‘. Four those of you who are not acquainted with Gergely Álmos better known as mïus, he is a Budapest based based electronic musician that works in the melodic and dreamy corners of dance music production. Defined as a multi-art project wherein the different fields of self-expression meet each other, mïus will be showcasing his audio-visual show titled naked waves on tour later this year at select venues in Prague, Rome, and more to be announced. ‘Last Time' is an introspective take on euphonious long-stretched synth lines and fluttering drum hits, exploring the deeper meanings of electronic sounds associated with love and nature. He toes the edge of the topic with palpable melancholy, adding another dimension to the track's compositional depth. Vocalist Raf Skowroński says: “Last Time is a song about deep and strong connection with other human beings. It's about people who we often love but take for granted. Relationships that don't last forever even though, in the moment, they feel like they do.”

What to do if something isn't right with a gift? You can ask for a refund if it's faulty or defective, or if it never arrives in the mail. For minor faults, retailers have the right to offer a replacement. Give them a chance to rectify the order, but for major faults you can get a refund in most circumstances. Don't worry if you haven't got the original wrapping, and if you don't have the receipt, there are other ways to show proof of purchase by you or “Santa”. Let's call this the greatest hits edition of KKHI as we play for you a clip of Anthony Fauci predicting thousands of kids will die in American homes if they live with somebody that has AIDS. He was wrong then and, incredibly, still wrong about kids today. We have a Fauci parody song that's outstanding and getting a ton of views on Youtube, a listener tipped me off. You'll like "Pure Blooded" the parody of Foreigner's "Hot Blooded" as it just rips Fauci and the vaccine booster madness. And of course Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com shares his thoughts on the Chiefs/Raiders, MU/USC and KSU/WV along with plenty of other pro and college picks.
In Last Best Hope, GEORGE PACKER explores four narratives that he says now dominate American (political) life: Free America, a nation of separate individuals that serves the interests of corporations and the wealthy; Smart America, the world view of Silicon Valley, the Clintons, and the professional elite; Real America, the white Christian nationalism of the heartland; and Just America, which sees citizens as members of identity groups who either inflict or suffer oppression. Though they may dominate, these narratives clearly do not speak for all, nor do any of them offer a viable path to restoring or sustaining a thriving democracy. What narrative might?

A pro-Donald Trump protest was taking place outside Government buildings in Washington DC when the mob forced their way into Capitol Hill in a stunning attempt to overturn America’s presidential election, undercut the nation’s democracy and keep Joe Biden from replacing Trump in the White House. Four people died in the proceedings including a woman who was shot, as well as three others who died in ‘medical emergencies.’ Donald Trump has been widely blamed for inciting the violent protest. In a video President Trump seemed to praise protestors while once again made entirely false and baseless claims that the US election was fraudulent. Clare was joined by callers living in Ireland originally from the US. Listen and subscribe to Lunchtime Live on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify. This week we're discussing the ongoing peace talks between the US and AfPak leaders. Last week, Taliban and Afghani government leaders met in Moscow. Will anything change? Tune in to hear why our voice in the region thinks the Taliban probably won't be able to return to business as usual. Then, is a rebranded version of socialism headed to the US? Last week saw the unveiling of AOC's Green New Deal which included provisions to cut back on greenhouse gas emitters including "farting cows". Because our politicians seem to be looking at Europe as the standard socialist model, we'll be speaking to Mark about the chances of socialism working in the US. And finally on Change Is Hard, we told you Bezos was being targeted because he's the big fish. We'll see if others in the media figured it out yet.
