In my journey of faith, I always longed to be more than just a "Christian," and this podcast has shown me the path of becoming a true disciple of Christ. John Mark Comer's teachings have opened my eyes and heart to the importance of abiding and resting in Christ. Throughout my day, I find myself thinking about how Christ would act in certain situations and what His disciples would do. This shift in perspective has slowly but significantly transformed my life over the past few months.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the wide range of guests that John Mark Comer brings on. Each guest brings their unique insights and perspectives, adding depth and richness to the discussions. The format of the podcast is also engaging and well-structured, keeping me hooked from start to finish. Furthermore, I appreciate the online content provided by Practicing the Way, which helps me put into practice the things I learn from the podcast episodes.

On December 15th, 2023, I came across an episode titled "Joy - Advent E1" that turned out to be one of the best gifts I received during Christmastime. It resonated deeply with me as I had been longing to become more wholehearted in pursuing Sabbath and Advent practices but found it challenging. The podcast episode addressed my heart's grieving over this issue perfectly, thanks to the Holy Spirit's guidance. I am grateful to both God and John Mark Comer for providing such timely encouragement.

What sets this podcast apart is John Mark Comer's intentional approach to engaging with scripture. It has reignited my faith when I was feeling burnt out on religion and church norms. He offers fresh perspectives and practical wisdom on being a follower of Jesus in today's modern world, something for which I am eternally grateful.

In conclusion, The John Mark Comer Teachings podcast has transformed my discipleship with Jesus like nothing else has, except for the Holy Spirit Himself! I am immensely thankful to John Mark Comer for sharing his God-given talents and wisdom with us. His authenticity in facing weariness and trials while faithfully following his calling has shown me that I am not alone in my struggles. The simplicity series particularly changed my heart posture towards various aspects of life, including career, relationships, and lifestyle. I cannot recommend this podcast enough to anyone seeking a deeper and more purposeful life with our Lord and Savior.
